Benny Blanco Says He Thought 'I'm Going to Have a Baby with This Person' After First Kiss with Selena Gomez
On Wednesday, March 19, Blanco and Gomez appeared on Spotify's Countdown To series and opened up about the early days of their relationship. In one instance, the music producer revealed what was going through his head after their first kiss.
"I knew right after we kissed, I was like, 'Oh wow. I'm probably going to marry this person,'" the producer, 37, said to the actress/singer, 32, who's his fiancée.
Then, he corrected himself. "Well, I didn't say marry but I was like, 'I'm probably going to have a baby with this person.'"
Gomez — who was holding her hand up to her face — responded by saying that was "so cute."

Moments before, the couple discussed their first date — which Blanco didn't even know was a date — and he revealed what the "Who Says" singer texted him afterward.
'I had the best time I've had in years. I can't even remember having a time this good," he said, recalling her message to him.
Blanco proceeded to ask Gomez if she was "excited" after their first date, and she confirmed she was.
"I thought you were so fun," the "Lose You to Love Me" musician added.
In a teaser for the episode, which comes ahead of their I Said I Love You First album release, the couple discussed how the album came together, and Blanco joked that he felt like her "personal journal."
"I was just, constantly writing whatever you said, wherever we were," he continued. "Sometimes you'd be saying something, like, really important, and I would — I didn't know if you even realized — but I would open my phone and be like, 'F---, that's such a good line for a song."

Meanwhile, Gomez said that she did notice Blanco taking notes. "But I was very — you know me. I could just sit there and talk...it didn't bother me, if that's what you're asking," she added, laughing.
So far, the couple has released three songs off the album: "Scared of Loving You," on Feb. 13, "Call Me When You Break Up" with Gracie Abrams on Feb. 21, and "Sunset Blvd." on March 14.
The music video for "Sunset Blvd" was a nod to their first date, which was at Jitlada Thai Restaurant on Sunset Boulevard.
Earlier that week, the couple visited the restaurant and recreated the shrimp curry dish they ate, sharing the romantic results to Instagram.
I Said I Loved You First is out March 21.

Crunchyroll and Delta Air Lines announced on Monday that they've partnered to offer anime as part of the airline's in-flight entertainment. The anime addition is set to arrive later this year, and Delta passengers will be able to stream content handpicked by Crunchyroll. Drake's Critically-Acclaimed Blockbuster Earns A New Spot In His Catalog
Drake is one of the most successful musicians in the history of streaming music. He's earned that title thanks to a massive discography and a seemingly countless number of hit singles. Several of his albums rank among the most streamed of all time, and he regularly appears on Billboard's Top Streaming Albums chart, which lists the most successful titles on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others throughout the United States. While his latest full-length, Some Sexy Songs 4 U with PartyNextDoor, is still his biggest win at the moment, one of Drake's earliest sets — and one of his most highly-regarded — emerges as a true streaming classic this week. Drake Sets a New Streaming Record Take Care is one of two Drake full-lengths to appear on the Top Streaming Albums chart this frame, as the set lifts one space to No. 31. It hits 63 weeks on the tally, and that, as it turns out, is a special number. Drake's 2011 project now stands as his longest-charting title ever on the Top Streaming Albums ranking. Last frame, Take Care was tied with For All the Dogs, as both had managed 62 stays. Now Take Care has passed the 2023 favorite. Drake's Streaming Chart History Throughout the few years that Billboard has been publishing the Top Streaming Albums chart, Drake has sent seven projects to the ranking. Some Sexy Songs 4 U already sits in third place on the list of the longest-running with 24 weeks, while Certified Lover Boy managed 20. Her Loss, his collaborative project with 21 Savage, earned 18 stays. Scorpion held on for 13, and Views — one of Drake's most commercially successful efforts — only lived on the list for two frames and stalled in the lowest rung possible. Take Care Made Drake a Superstar Take Care helped certify Drake as a superstar and much more than a one-hit wonder. Released in the fall of 2011, the set produced smashes like 'Headlines,' 'Make Me Proud,' and 'The Motto.' The project earned the Canadian rapper his first Grammy, for Best Rap Album. Take Care Rises on Multiple Billboard Charts Take Care is on the rise on every Billboard chart on which it appears this frame. As it nears 650 weeks on the Billboard 200, it inches north to No. 32. The project can also be found inside the loftiest tiers on both the Top Rap Albums and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums tallies, where it appears at Nos. 7 and 10, respectively. Drake Maintains His Dominance on the Billboard 200 Eight different Drake albums appear on at least one Billboard list this week. All of them — including Some Sexy Songs 4 U and Take Care, as well as Views, Certified Lover Boy, For All the Dogs, Scorpion, Thank Me Later, and More Life — live on the Billboard 200, while some of his most popular also manage to take up space on the company's hip-hop- and rap-specific lists.

Kelly Clarkson's Ex Brandon Blackstock Dead At 48 After Lengthy Cancer Battle
Kelly Clarkson's family emergency has turned into a family tragedy! The singer's former husband, and father of her kids, Brandon Blackstock, is now dead after a lengthy battle with cancer, barely 24 hours after Clarkson announced a cancellation of the remaining shows in her ongoing Las Vegas residency due to his illness. Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock were married from 2013 to 2020 before going their separate ways. They were parents to two children, River Rose and Remington Alexander, during the nearly seven-year union. Kelly Clarkson's Ex Brandon Blackstock Battled Cancer For 'More Than 3 Years' A representative from the Blackstock family confirmed that the singer's former husband and manager succumbed to his cancer fight today, Thursday, August 7, 2025. He was reportedly surrounded by his family and loved ones after fighting the deadly illness for over three years. Clarkson broke her silence on the manager's illness just yesterday when she informed fans about her decision to reschedule the rest of the shows to be by his side and their kids. In addition to his children from the marriage to Clarkson, the late Blackstock is also father to two kids, Savannah and Seth, from a previous marriage. His eldest child, Savannah, gave birth to his first grandchild in 2022. The singer and her late husband met for the first time at a rehearsal for the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2006 while he was married to his ex, Melissa Ashworth, per PEOPLE. Inside The Performer's Series Of Show Cancellations Due To Ex's Illness Before her announcement on Instagram yesterday, where she profusely apologized for rescheduling yet another set of shows for her Vegas residency, the star had also taken a step back from her talk show for an extended period. As reported by the outlet, the performer was absent from several episodes of "The Kelly Clarkson Show" earlier in the year, reportedly due to her husband's sickness. While the singer vacated the host seat for the show, her colleagues, including Roy Wood Jr, Simu Liu, Wanda Skyes, Josh Groban, and Brooke Shields, filled in as guest hosts. As soon as the media personality returned, she marked the program's 1,000th episode, which featured celebrities like Tyler Perry, Alicia Vikander, and popular Venezuelan actor, Mauy Ricky. The star also had to shift both opening dates of her Vegas residency forward in early July to prevent her vocal cords from suffering further trauma as the rehearsals took a toll on her voice. The shows have reportedly now been postponed to July and August 2026, planned to take place at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The Former Couple's Romantic Journey Sparks flew in Clarkson's heart when she set eyes on the music manager for the first time, as she later admitted in an interview in 2013 that when he walked past her, making everybody laugh, she knew they were meant for each other. "Literally, I'm not joking, he walked past us at that time. And he walked by, I was ready to take it all off. I just felt something," she said of their first meeting in a 2017 interview, where she explained that her guitar player's wife was her date for the night. Their relationship finally became official in 2012, after Clarkson performed the national anthem at a game with Blackstock in attendance. The pair went on their first date in February 2012, and by the end of the year, they were engaged to be married. The intimate proposal happened at their Nashville home, shortly after Clarkson praised him for loving her properly in a way no one had ever done. The Duo Shared A Productive Professional Relationship While they were married, the singer credited her husband for a chunk of her career growth, including the birth of her talk show, which was his brilliant idea. She confessed in 2019 that working on the idea he pitched brought them together in completely new ways. She reflected on how they share a similar temperament and also navigate their dynamics as spouses at work. Clarkson praised her husband for his great work ethic and commitment to getting the best out of anything. Blackstock became Clarkson's manager after their wedding, a decision the singer took after seeing how he treated Blake Shelton, whom he managed at the time Clarkson met him. "And the way that [Blake's] career has blown up, I would have hired Brandon regardless. He's really talented at what he does, and his mind really does work in a completely different way," Clarkson shared. Inside Kelly Clarkson And Brandon Blackstock's Bitter Divorce By 2020, things had gone awry between the couple during the time in quarantine on their Montana ranch. Their time together failed to salvage their marriage, which was already experiencing tension. A source had shared at the time that they were hoping the time away from their time away from Los Angeles was what their marriage needed. The Blast reported that the reverse was the case as soon as Clarkson returned to L.A., she beelined it to court to file for divorce. The star demanded joint custody of their two kids and asked for an enforcement of their prenuptial agreement, which specified how to handle their community assets and finances. May Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock's family find strength to navigate these trying times.
