Abbie excited as Wrexham tackle Cardiff in big cup final
It's been a campaign of ups and downs for Steve Dale's Reds, but they have been in excellent form since the turn of the year and they will be hoping to continue this trend against Cardiff City in Sunday's Welsh Cup final.
Newport's Rodney Parade will play host to the match-up, which sees Wrexham coming up against the league champions for the second consecutive season.
Asked what a cup final win would mean, Iddenden told the club's YouTube channel: 'Everything. I think every player, whatever team you're at, you want to win some silverware.
'But, Wrexham's a special club and to come here and have the chance of winning some silverware with the season like we have would be incredibly special and I think for everyone that's played a part in it, it just shows the kind of character and the resilience that we've got as a team.
'So, it would be huge.'
Iddenden has been a major part of Wrexham's recovery during a mixed campaign in the Adran Premier.
Off the pace during the early portion of the campaign, the Reds have turned things around and they have displayed some excellent form since the turn of the year.
They have lost just twice in the league since December and Iddenden topped the league's scoring stakes during phase two of the season with six goals.
On getting used to surroundings at the club, she added: 'I think it's always hard coming into a new team, finding your feet and kind of understanding how the team plays. But, I think, kind of before Christmas, before I got injured, I was finding my feet a bit then.
'So, it was a bit of a setback, but definitely feel like I've hit the ground running again now.
'So, it's exciting and positive. So, can't wait for the rest of the season.'
Wrexham are looking for revenge for their Welsh Cup final defeat 12 months ago.
The Reds produced an excellent display to push Cardiff all the way, but goals from Rhianne Oakley and Emma Beynon made sure of a domestic treble for Cardiff.
However, City haven't had things all their own way this time around. The Adran Trophy title was claimed by The New Saints, while Cardiff have been forced to work hard to defend their league crown.
Wrexham have finally broken their duck versus the Bluebirds - and they've achieved two vital victories against their rivals.
In early March, Ava Suckley and Iddenden saw Wrexham triumph on their travels and the Reds followed this up with a superb 4-2 outcome at home earlier this month. Rosie Hughes' opener was followed by Iddenden's hat-trick on a cracking day for Steve Dale's charges.
There's one North East Wales League match on Sunday as Northop Hall visit Berriew.

Snoop Dogg has plans to open burger truck at soccer stadium in Scotland, and wants to serve fans himself
Snoop Dogg has revealed plans to open a burger truck and serve fans himself at a soccer stadium in the United Kingdom. The 53-year-old rapper has taken an interest in Celtic Park in Glasgow, the home of Scottish team Celtic. Snoop has previously spoken about his love for the team, saying he was inspired by Ryan Reynolds 's transformation of Wrexham. He told The Sunday Mail: 'I would love to bring a pop-up burger van to a sports stadium to show fans that food at stadiums can be good. It's got to be Celtic Park, man.' Snoop added: 'The secret to a good burger is the love in the preparation. The ground beef has got to be mixed with some secret spices, then add a good quality cheese and some maple-cured bacon. 'The Celtic fans are gonna love it, and to make sure they are just right, Snoop is going to be serving them himself. 'Am I going to bring my burgers to Rangers as well? Nah, I think we will give that a miss.' He also claims to have spoken to famous chef Gordon Ramsay about the possible business opportunity. When Rob and Ryan took over Wrexham, the team were in the fifth tier of English soccer and had been for nearly 15 years But they earned promotion to League Two two seasons later in winning the National League, and they secured a consecutive promotion the year after to take their spots in League One. And it seems the club's owners' work is rubbing off on Snoop. Speaking to the Daily Record, he said: 'I love what Ryan has done with Wrexham. It's just a great story.' Snoop added: 'Investing in a sports team has been something I have been looking at for a long time. If the chance came to invest in Celtic, I would be crazy not to take a look at it. 'I have watched so much soccer in Europe but I have never seen fans like the Celtic fans. There is something so special about them. There is a reason why their fans are talked about across Europe. The best players and coaches in the world tell you there is nowhere like Celtic Park and I want to be a part of that. 'Their mascot is a hound. You couldn't make that up. Snoop Dogg becomes Hoopy the Hound – that's gotta be a match made in heaven. The headlines write themselves.'

Gary Neville issues Liverpool transfer verdict including Florian Wirtz surprise
Liverpool have already secured the signings of Jeremie Frimpong and Armin Pecsi this summer, with the duo joining the club's under-21 setup, but are set to add more to their squad Gary Neville has praised Liverpool's recent work in the transfer window, but admitted he's surprised by their persistent pursuit of Florian Wirtz. The Premier League champions have already signed Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen and young goalkeeper Armin Pecsi, who is expected to join the Reds' under-21 squad. Liverpool's summer spree doesn't stop there; they're on the verge of welcoming Wirtz and Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez, with the German attacker poised to set a record as both Liverpool's most expensive ever signing and potentially the priciest player in the history of British football. The Reds have reportedly made an offer totalling £113million for the Leverkusen ace, who, despite his current club's £125m valuation, seems eager to join the Merseyside club. Neville discussed Liverpool's summer signings on the It's Called Soccer podcast, applauding the club for potentially nailing down three significant deals surprisingly early, and he spoke glowingly of the possible acquisition of Wirtz. " Liverpool won the league four or five weeks ago, so they can start having their recruitment meetings very early," said the ex-Manchester United captain. "I know all clubs do but to involve your manager while you're going for a Premier League title is quite tough so once they've won the title they can be so focused. Wirtz would be a sensational signing. I think when you're talking about winning the league what is it that improves you? "The only thing that will improve you when you win the league is signing world-class players or players who have the potential to be world-class, so signing Wirtz is fantastic." He conceded that while he anticipates shrewd dealings from Liverpool in the transfer market, the sum they're willing to spend on Wirtz did catch him off guard. "[Jeremie] Frimpong and there's talks of [Milos] Kerkez, deals with their right and left backs situations so to get those three done if they were to get [them] done quite quickly would be smart business but I wouldn't have expected anything else from Liverpool," he continued. "Maybe slightly surprised they've gone so heavy in on Wirtz in terms of the fee, they don't normally go that big but [Arne] Slot deserves it by the way. "He waited 12 months for a player to sign, [they] signed [Federico] Chiesa for very little money. So I think they have two years of money tanked up and banked up plus they have all the income guaranteed from next season with the Champions League so I think supporting the manager is the right and only thing to do."
