While the buzz around Ahaan's debut has been high ever since Saiyaara's teaser was dropped, many are still curious about his background, particularly, who are his parents? Here we dive deep into the details about the Saiyaara actor's family and his Bollywood connection.
Ahaan Panday's Parents
Ahaan hails from a family deeply rooted in both business and Bollywood. He is the son of Aloke Sharad Panday, also known as Chikki Panday and Deanne Panday. Chikki, a well-known Mumbai-based businessman and philanthropist, co-founded the Akshara Foundation of Arts & Learning. It is an organisation dedicated to providing quality education to underprivileged children.
Moving on to Deanne Panday, Ahaan's mother, she is a pioneer in the world of fitness. One of India's top models, Deanne is a fitness and wellness coach- and an established author, too. Her books, like I'm Not Stressed: Secrets for a Calm Mind and a Healthy Body and Shut Up and Train! have garnered a strong response from health enthusiasts, earning positive reviews from both critics and readers.
Chikki and Deanne have been married for more than three decades now. The couple tied the knot in 1994 after a decade-long relationship and have two children — Ahaan and Alanna Panday. Interestingly, Ahaan's sister Alanna is an Internet star in her own right. With over 2 million followers on Instagram and 1.65 million subscribers on YouTube, Alanna enjoys a significant fan base across social media platforms.
Ahaan Panday's Connection With Ananya Panday
Wondering how Ahaan is related to Ananya Panday? Ahaan's father Chikki is the younger brother of Chunky Panday. This makes Ahaan the nephew of Chunky Panday and cousin of the veteran actor's daughter and actress Ananya Panday.
As Ahaan Panday takes his first steps into the world of films, fans can't wait to magic he creates on screen.

'I have 25,000 followers': Peter Nguyen threatens American Airlines air hostess after she catches him vaping in toilet

Peter Nguyen threatened to call the police when he was caught vaping on an American Airlines plane. Peter Kobe Nguyen, an Internet personality and a self-described pickleball coach, created a scene that included some social media flexing on board an American Airlines plane after he was caught vaping inside the toilet of the aircraft. Nguyen, in the viral video, accused the air hostess of harassing him by opening the bathroom door on him, and then he went on to say that he has 25,000 followers and they will watch this. Nguyen recorded the video and posted on Instagram claiming that the airhostess put her hands on him but it backfired as his followers told him that he was at fault and was now trying to gain sympathy. 'I was actually sitting on the toilet and you were opening the door,' he said in the video. 'I don't care,' the crew member replied. 'You can keep saying you're sorry but I care about all these passengers.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kobe Peter 'Twoey King' Nguyen (@ "I have a lawyer, I am a lawyer," Nguyen said, forcing the airhostess to apologize. Then he threatened to call the police when he landed. In a follow-up post, Nguyen wrote that 'American Airlines customer service' had called to tell them they were conducting 'internal investigation' of the incident and that 'similar instances had happened in the past.' 'Justice is about to be served,' he wrote in the caption. American Airlines acknowledged the incident and said: "A customer on American Airlines flight 2860 with service from Phoenix (PHX) to San Francisco (SFO) was removed from the aircraft upon arrival at SFO due to disruptive behavior. We thank our customers for their patience and apologize for any inconvenience." "The San Francisco Police Department met the flight upon arrival and escorted the customer out of the concourse." "What a sorry attempt to portray yourself as a victim. Stop Vaping in the airplane, case closed," the top comment of the Instagram post read. 'I have a lawyer. I AM a lawyer' lmao. No dude you play pickleball," another mocked him. "You should go to federal prison for vaping on a plane and endangering all the passengers on the plane," a third user wrote.

Saiyaara Actor Varun Badola Takes Dig At Film's PR Team: 'They Went Overboard With IV Drips'

Saiyaara star Varun Badola reacts to viral theatre frenzy, saying PR team went overboard with IV drip stunts and bangles-breaking antics. Calls success real. Ahaan Panday's debut film Saiyaara may be breaking box office records, but not everyone is on board with how the film has been promoted. Veteran actor Varun Badola, who played Ahaan's father in the romantic drama, has taken a subtle yet scathing dig at the film's PR machinery. The Mohit Suri directorial, also starring Aneet Padda, has now crossed the Rs 500 crore mark globally, with over Rs 300 crore earned in India alone. While its box office run has been historic, Saiyaara also went viral for dramatic audience reactions — fans fainting, crying uncontrollably, tearing their shirts, and even showing up to theatres hooked to IV drips. While producer Akshaye Widhani and director Suri have maintained that the reactions were organic and not planted, Varun Badola offered a more grounded take in an interview with Screen. 'When we were working on the film, we hadn't thought it would get so big… But on the third day of the release, when the film blew up at the box office, we realized it had gone big. I still haven't watched Saiyaara," he revealed. Commenting on the viral videos, Badola didn't hold back: 'By the third or fourth day, the film was being talked about. I saw the euphoria on Instagram. Log jo chudiyaan tod rahe hai, chaatiyaan peet rahe hai (People were breaking bangles and beating their chests). I think the promotions team went a little overboard… putting IV drips. Those people must have been told to give content. Thank god, people didn't get their legs broken and go crawling to see the film." Despite his candid remarks, Badola acknowledged the film's real impact. 'It's okay. We understand promoting the film, but it's good only up to a certain level. However, the film cannot earn so much money just based on Instagram promotions. People have gone and seen the film, and they have loved it," he concluded. With Saiyaara continuing its golden run, Ahaan Panday has officially arrived in Bollywood. Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
