Tom is now creating a new state-of-the art strongman training centre in the Highlands with his brother Luke.
And he told how his dream is to get it decked out in the colours of the Union Jack, to show off his love for the Gers.
Tom, 31, said: 'Zinsser paint is giving us paint to paint the gym. I want red, white and blue. Luke wants green.
'What do you guys want it to be? Zinsser, please red white and blue - please, please.'

Beefcake Tom was the first Scot to be crowned World's Strongest Man and has clinched the title a record three times.
Back in 2022 we told how he was evicted from the warehouse where he trained for events and kept equipment like his mammoth Atlas Stones.
The landlord gave Tom and Luke just three days to clear everything out.
They were forced to leave it outside their Stoltman Strength Centre gym in Invergordon, Easter Ross, because there was no room for it.

But now they have found the perfect location for a new site that will be a gym and have space for their bulky strongman training gear.
Luke said: 'There's going to be every bit of equipment that you could ever want to train on for strongman or powerlifting.
World's Strongest Man launches new career
'This is going to be the hub in Scotland for generating or growing the next strongest man in the world.'
Tom added: 'It's cool. Very cool.'

Videos on the brothers' Youtube page show them renovating the 'manky' site.
Their dream is to invite strongman competitors and wannabes from across the country to train.
They also plan to hold competitions in the space at the back of the site.
But Tom is very invested in the colour scheme and asked fans to back his plans to have it painted red, white and blue.

One said: 'Oh wow. It's going to look amazing once it's all done. Red, white and blue definitely. So excited for you both.'
While another who is seemingly a Celtic fan joked: 'Some nice grass green paint, for environmental landscaping. Some white stripes on it would be nice too.'
Tom travelled to the USA for this year's World's Strongest Man event and came second. He missed out on the top spot to rival Rayno Nel by half a point.
He's always been a Rangers fan and regularly talks about how the club has a special place in his heart.

Son Heung-min completes move to Los Angeles from Tottenham in MLS record deal

It was revealed on Saturday that Son would depart Spurs following 173 goals in 454 appearances and months after he captained the club to Europa League glory. After an agreement between Tottenham and LAFC was struck for a deal in excess of £20million, the 33-year-old arrived in Los Angeles on Tuesday and a day later he has finalised his transfer, which is the highest fee paid by an MLS club for a player. In a post to Spurs fans on Instagram, Son, who has signed an initial two-year deal with LAFC with options for a further two, wrote: 'How to find the right words for this? I don't know. I have been thinking for days. It's impossible. But here I go. 'It's time for me to say goodbye to Tottenham Hotspur. My home for the past decade. When I arrived in 2015, I didn't speak English, I didn't know London, but you welcomed me with open arms, believed in me, and stood by me through every high and low. 'I was just a boy from Korea with big dreams who was supposed to have no chance. And now, 10 years later, North London is in my heart forever. Dear Spurs fans… Sonny's letter to you 🤍 — Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) August 6, 2025 'I've made friends for life here, had the honour of becoming a godfather here, and had the privilege of captaining our special club here. I've poured my heart and soul into this club, which makes this the hardest decision ever. 'I thought if I was ever going to leave, it would have to be on my terms, on the best terms, when our mission had been accomplished together. With pride and honour.' Son joined Spurs in 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen. After a tough debut campaign the South Korea captain went on to become one of the club's best ever players and made himself a Premier League great in the process. Alongside old partner in crime Harry Kane, Son holds the record for the most goal involvements by a duo in the Premier League, with the pair assisting each other on a record 47 occasions in the competition. The Chuncheon-born attacker also won the league's Golden Boot award in the 2021-22 season after scoring 23 times and he sits 17th in the list of all-time scorers in the division with 127 goals. Under former boss Mauricio Pochettino, Son's consistent displays helped turn Tottenham into genuine title contenders but silverware continued to allude them after a second-placed finish in 2017 was followed by a Champions League runner-up spot two years later. Whilst various members of Pochettino's team left not long after the Argentinian's winter departure in 2019, Son stayed to work under Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte before he was tasked with leading a new era by Ange Postecoglou. Son Enjoyed a formidable partnership with Harry Kane (Andrew Matthews/PA) Postecoglou named Son as his captain in the wake of Kane's high-profile switch to Bayern Munich and Hugo Lloris' departure from the first team and after a roller coaster two seasons under the Australian, they achieved the holy grail together on May 21. Son was consigned to a place on the bench in Bilbao for the Europa League final against Manchester United following an injury-affected campaign, but was introduced to make his final competitive appearance for Spurs to help them win 1-0 and end a 17-year wait for silverware. It etched Son's name into the history books as he became only the fourth captain in Spurs' history to lift a European trophy after Danny Blanchflower, Alan Mullery and Steve Perryman. The popular South Korean will renew acquaintances with Lloris and move to Los Angeles, which boasts one of the largest Korean populations in the world, ahead of next summer's World Cup in the United States.

Martin's changes pay off as Gassama double eases Rangers past Viktoria Plzen

Russell Martin's bold team selection paid off as Rangers defeated Viktoria Plzen 3-0 in the first leg of their Champions League third qualifying round tie at Ibrox. Martin hit out at some of his squad following their deflating 1-1 draw at Motherwell on Saturday, questioning mentality, egos and application and the captain, James Tavernier, and the midfielder Nicolas Raskin were the biggest names among the expected changes. Martin got the required reaction as the winger Djeidi Gassama scored after 15 minutes before the returning striker Cyriel Dessers added a second from the spot just before the interval. Gassama, signed this summer from Sheffield Wednesday, scored his side's third in the 51st minute to put the Govan side into a commanding lead and eventually a comfortable win. Martin said: 'I really enjoyed it. I'm proud of the guys. We had a really difficult evening on Saturday, just because there was not enough running in behind, aggression, intensity with the ball. We were not just ranting and raving, we showed a lot of clips and we tried to do a lot of learning in the meeting room and on the pitch in the last couple of days and they took it on brilliantly. 'The guys that came in the team were fantastic. We're going to need everyone. You don't get dropped from this team, people come in and out quite a lot because we need to be fresh.' Martin claimed Tavernier was understanding of Martin's decision to leave him on the sidelines. He said: 'Yeah, yeah, he was great – all the guys. I say my piece, if they have a piece to say, then it's really respectful and really honest. But I think the way he played when he came on showed you everything you need to know. So there's been no problem and I don't envisage there being any problems moving forward.' Rangers will be heavy favourites to progress to a playoff tie against the Austrian side RB Salzburg or Club Brugge of Belgium. After pointing the finger at his underperformers at the weekend, all eyes were on Martin's team selection and he made significant changes. Along with Tavernier and Raskin – arguably their best player last season – Danilo and Kieran Dowell were left out. Oliver Antman, the Finland winger who joined from Go Ahead Eagles on Monday, made his debut with the left-back Jefté, the midfielder Lyall Cameron and Dessers returning while John Souttar was named captain. The Ibrox crowd was more subdued than usual on a big European night, initially. In the seventh minute Plzen's lofty striker Rafiu Durosinmi headed a cross from Amar Memic past the post but it was Gassama who struck first, playing a one-two with Dessers at the edge of the visitors' box before confidently curling the ball past the goalkeeper Florian Wiegele. After the Rangers defender Nasser Djiga brilliantly blocked a goal-bound shot from the visiting captain ,Matej Vydra, Antman's drive from a Gassama cut-back at the other end was cleared off the line by Vaclav Jemelka. When a driving run into the box by Antman ended with him being barged over by Vydra, Turpin pointed to the spot for a soft penalty and Dessers sent Wiegele the wrong way. Rangers started the second half strongly and within three minutes the midfielder Mohamed Diomande struck the bar with an effort from the edge of the box. However, the third soon arrived as Gassama grabbed his second when he bulleted in a header from a pinpoint Antman cross from the right to score his fourth goal in the past three European matches. Raskin, Danilo, and Tavernier all came off the bench when the job was done before the home keeper Jack Butland made a good save from a powerful drive from Memic. Malmö's home match against their local rivals FC Copenhagen ended in a goalless draw. The teams are separated by the Øresund Bridge which is the fastest route between Sweden and Denmark. Anderson Silva's late goal for Pafos fired them to a 1-0 victory against Dynamo Kyiv. A first-half penalty from Toral Bayramov secured a 1-0 away win for Qarabag at the Macedonian club Shkendija.
