"PM Modi Built Ram Mandir, Brought 5G To India": Amit Shah
"People with leftist ideology ask what good came from building the Ram Mandir. I say they won't understand. Modi ji built the Ram temple and brought 5G to India. He took digital payments to the vegetable seller on the street," Mr Shah said, while attending 63rd Foundation Day of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP).
The Minister also highlighted Modi government's broader efforts - from replacing colonial symbols with Indian ones to expanding AIIMS, IITs, and promoting education in regional languages.
Praising BVP's legacy of selfless service inspired by Swami Vivekananda, Mr Shah said the organisation has over 1,600 branches across the country and continues to serve with dedication, especially during disasters and social causes.
"It is not just an organisation, but an idea that links Indians to their identity," said Mr Shah.
"BVP has been walking the path of service long before this era-and it will continue to do so," Mr Shah added.

Trump claims 'five jets were shot down' in India-Pak clash following Pahalgam attack
New Delhi: US President Donald Trump has stirred controversy with a startling claim that 'five jets were shot down' in the recent armed confrontation between India and Pakistan following the April 22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam area in which 26 people were killed. India had launched 'Operation Sindoor' to destroy terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir after that. President Trump's remarks, made during a private dinner with Republican lawmakers at the White House on Friday, reignited discussion around the intense four-day military escalation between the Nuclear-armed neighbours in early May. 'In fact, planes were being shot out of the air. Five, five, four or five, but I think five jets were shot down actually,' President Trump said, referring to the brief but high-stakes military exchange between India and Pakistan. However, the US President did not clarify which country's aircraft were downed or provide evidence to support the claim. President Trump also claimed that the United States played a role in defusing tensions through economic leverage. 'We stopped a lot of wars. And these were serious, India and Pakistan, that was going on. These are two serious Nuclear countries, and they were hitting each other,' he said. 'You know, it seems like a new form of warfare. You saw it recently when you looked at what we did in Iran, where we knocked out their Nuclear capability… But India and Pakistan were going at it, and it was getting bigger and bigger, and we got it solved through trade. We said, 'you guys want to make a trade deal. We're not making a trade deal if you're going to be throwing around weapons, and maybe nuclear weapons', both very powerful nuclear states.' President Trump's comments have been met with skepticism in India, which maintains that no foreign power, including the US, acted as a mediator in resolving the crisis. Indian officials reiterated that New Delhi and Islamabad addressed the situation bilaterally and rejected the notion that trade pressure from Washington played a decisive role. India's military response, codenamed Operation Sindoor, began on the night of May 7. The Indian Armed Forces, Army, Air Force, and Navy, jointly launched a series of strikes targeting terrorist infrastructure across the Line of Control and deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operation followed the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives, including those of tourists. Despite the intensity of the exchange, India has maintained that none of its fighter jets were lost in combat. On May 11, Air Marshal A.K. Bharti publicly stated that all Indian pilots involved in the operation had returned safely. Indian authorities remain firm that the crisis was managed without external mediation and that Trump's version of events does not align with facts on the ground.

Box Office: Saiyaara Emerges a BLOCKBUSTER, Set for Strong Growth on Day Two
Saiyaara has emerged as a BLOCKBUSTER with the film set to register growth in business on its second day. Based on how morning shows have fared and how the current sales are moving, the Mohit Suri film is looking for a Rs. 25 crore plus day today. It could even move toward Rs. 30 crore but there will likely be capacity issues which will prevent it from doing so, that will get clear later in the day. Normally, you would wait for weekdays to make this call, but when the film is showing this kind of surge following an already outstanding first day, there is little doubt about it holding on weekdays. Still, the Monday hold will be confirming the verdict, but it's pretty much a lock at this point. Saiyaara started strongly in the morning, albeit a bit lower compared to yesterday, which is normal for a film that opened well. At the time of writing, it has caught up with its first day and now will start making gains from here on. The current sales today are going at a phenomenal pace, with online ticket booking portal BMS reporting double the sales today than it was yesterday. The film opened to Rs. 20.25 crore nett yesterday, which is an outstanding start for the film of this size. By EOD today, it will be close to Rs. 50 crore and the weekend is projected to be around Rs. 75 crore. This will set it up for a Rs. 150-175 crore plus final, which could go all the way to over Rs. 200 crore. The YRF film costs around Rs. 65 crore to produce and release, which on paper was a big gamble to put on a no-face cast. That, however, has paid big time as the film will recover all that from just the Indian theatrical share. The non-theatrical rights are linked to the box office and are expected to fetch a big sum as well. In all, the profits from the film will go over Rs. 100 crore, making it one of the most profitable films ever.
