GigaCloud Technology (GCT) Surges 59% In Last Quarter
We've discovered 1 possible red flag for GigaCloud Technology that you should be aware of before investing here.
We've found 22 US stocks that are forecast to pay a dividend yield of over 6% next year. See the full list for free.
The recent developments at GigaCloud Technology, including the leasing of a new fulfillment center in Germany and the class action settlement approval, could bolster their European market share and operational stability. These enhancements have the potential to improve both revenue and earnings forecasts, aligning with their rebranding efforts and integration strategies. With analysts projecting a revenue increase to US$1.3 billion by 2028, the new center may significantly contribute to this growth path.
Over the last year, GigaCloud's total shareholder return, including share price and dividends, decreased by 17.96%. Despite this decline, the company's shares have increased by 59% over the most recent quarter, a stark contrast to the broader market's 18% decline amid economic uncertainties. This performance indicates a potential reversal of sentiment, although it lags compared to the 17.5% return of the overall U.S. market and the US Retail Distributors industry's 14.9% drop within the same timeframe.
The current share price of US$20.97 shows a significant discount to the consensus price target of US$29.5, indicating analysts' expectations of higher future value. The recent strategic moves highlight potential for growth in earnings and market positioning, aiding in closing this valuation gap. As the company navigates macroeconomic challenges and competitive pressures, the fulfillment center might be a pivotal factor in achieving the forecasted outcomes, although reaching earnings of US$82.1 million by 2028 with a PE ratio of 13.4x remains a challenge that reflects analysts' mixed opinions on GigaCloud's future trajectory.
Upon reviewing our latest valuation report, GigaCloud Technology's share price might be too pessimistic.

🚨 Reports: Deal done, Liverpool offload flop for over £50 million
There's still a lot going on in Liverpool. After the Reds reportedly signed Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike for well over 200 million euros in the summer, players are now being actively sold. As Florian Plettenberg reports, the departure of striker Darwin Nunez is now said to be confirmed. Fabrizio Romano also shortly afterwards made similar statements about 'X'. In addition to Luis Díaz, who moved to FC Bayern Munich, Darwin Núñez is now also leaving. According to the latest reports, the attacker is set to move to Al-Hilal for 50 million euros plus bonuses. A surprisingly high sum, right? Since the Uruguayan came to LFC in 2022 for 85 million euros, he has only scored 26 goals in 95 games and largely fell short of expectations. Well, money is not the most important thing in the Saudi Pro League, as we know. This article was translated into English by Artificial Intelligence. Turner hits record $39B in backlog, buoyed by data center work
This story was originally published on Construction Dive. To receive daily news and insights, subscribe to our free daily Construction Dive newsletter. New York City-based Turner Construction, the largest contractor in the U.S. by revenue, is having a very good year. The privately held company announced in a news release that its 2025 first half results included more than $39 billion in backlog, an increase of 21% from the same period last year and a record, according to the firm. Meanwhile, its revenue rose to $13.4 billion, a 44% leap from the first half of 2024. The firm's workforce now exceeds 14,000 people, according to the release. Though Turner has maintained its place as the top dog in construction for several years, it's gotten there not on the back of large-scale, multibillion-dollar heavy civil megaprojects, but instead by focusing largely on clients in the private sector or institutional settings, including in the data center, healthcare, education and sports and entertainment spaces. Indeed, a breakdown of its current backlog provides a roadmap to where private projects have held up, despite a more challenging interest rate environment. The company said these segments contributed to its backlog: $12.6 billion in data centers. $6.6 billion in healthcare. $4.1 billion in education. $3.5 billion in sports and entertainment. Turner, which is a subsidiary of Germany-based Hochtief, has recently made moves focused around the data center construction boom, including the purchase of Ireland's Dornan Engineering, which it completed earlier this year. The firm attributed its growth, in part, to that acquisition, which it said has enhanced its capacity to deliver complex, mission-critical projects while strengthening its position in key markets in Europe. The completion of the Dornan deal followed a leadership revamp at the firm late last year, when it reorganized its structure to stay abreast of the burgeoning data center and chip fab construction markets. 'Our ability to grow, deliver at scale and expand our workforce is rooted in the strength of our culture,' said Peter Davoren, chairman and CEO, in the release announcing its first half results. 'We have a workplace defined by active caring — where people can be at their best, be authentic, and be treated with respect and dignity. This enables us to attract and retain outstanding talent, and it's why Turner is consistently recognized as a great place to work.
