It is also said that the deal for the OTT rights has been finalized with Amazon Prime Video. However, it is noteworthy that there has been no official announcement from the producer in this regard so far.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Lokesh Kanagaraj shared the moment Rajinikanth agreed to act in 'Coolie'.
"I started narrating the story. After the break, I asked him - is this your style? Would you like to act in this film? He immediately said 'yes'. I hadn't even written the second half then," said Lokesh. Answering box office expectations of 'Coolie', Lokesh Kanagaraj keeps his focus away from box office numbers and assured fans that the action drama will be worth the amount they pay for their ticket.

According to information released on the Letterboxd website, 'Coolie' centers on the story of a leader who once belonged to a terrorist gang.
