A social media post from 2023 about Archita Phukan's difficult past is in the spotlight, as the model revealed that she was once trapped in the dark world of prostitution.
Archita Phukan, aka Babydoll Archi, is in the news for her surprising collaboration with well-known adult film star Kendra Lust. Archita has also shared that she is interested in entering the adult industry and is excited to learn from Kendra. Amid this, a social media post from 2023 about Archita's difficult past is in the spotlight. During the time, the model had revealed that she was once 'trapped in the dark world of prostitution in India." Archita said she was forced to work as a prostitute for six years and escaped after paying Rs 25 lakh for her freedom.
Taking to Instagram, the Assamese model wrote, 'The past does not define you. After enduring six long years trapped in the dark world of prostitution in India, I managed to break free from its clutches, despite having paid nearly 25 Lakh for my supposed freedom. Today, as I reflect upon my harrowing past, I stand tall as a survivor, proof that hope, resilience and the power of the human spirit can triumph over even the darkest of circumstances. With the unwavering support of a trusted friend and an organisation dedicated to helping survivors like me, I was able to free 8 other girls/women and give them a new life. Happiness indeed."
In her old Instagram post, Archita Phukan had also marked her location as GB Road in New Delhi. The area is known as one of the major red-light districts in the national capital.
Sharing her experience of meeting the adult star, the model wrote, 'Meeting Kendra for the first time was truly an unforgettable experience. I felt inspired by her confidence, professionalism and success. She was warm and encouraging and shared valuable insights that I'll carry with me on my journey to a better life. Grateful for the opportunity to connect and learn from such an icon."

Along with the buzz around her picture with Kendra Lust, Babydoll Archi is also on people's social media feeds due to a reel featuring the song Dame Un Grrr by Kate Linn.
