Former Napoli star, 23, jailed after being found guilty of taking part in armed carjacking

Amsterdam -born Amoah went on to play for Norwegian club Egersund, plus Belgian sides Patro Eisden and Tongeren.
But a court in the Belgian city Kortrijk handed the right-back a two-year prison sentence on Monday morning.
Amoah was also fined £2,800 for his part in stealing a hired Mercedes from a motorist last July.
His accomplice, named only as Yasser A., received identical punishments. The 28-year-old is also a Dutch citizen.
Prosecutors told the trial: "A man wearing a balaclava threatened to use a weapon in order to force the driver to hand over the keys of his rented car."
The incident took place at an Esso petrol station at Marke, near Kortrijk in western Belgium.
The stolen car war discovered at nearby Wevelgem an hour later, and the two men were arrested later that day.
The trial heard Amoah and Yasser were found with five mobile phones, the balaclava and the clothing seen in security camera footage of the robbery.
Amoah's lawyer Gregory Everaert claimed: "The CCTV images showed that he was walking round the parking area, but he did not approach the [victim's] car."
Amoah has previous convictions for theft in the Netherlands. He has been without a club since leaving Patro Eisden two summers ago.

The tragic accident happened on Wednesday, August 13, as the pair fell from the ridge of the mountain they were traversing, onto a glacier. It's believed bad weather played a role in the fall. It comes after a kickboxing champion takes dead body to police station as he hands himself in for murder. The fall may have been 200 to 300 metres in an area where the slopes are sheer sheets of ice. The alarm was raised only during the night, when Alexandra's boyfriend alerted rescuers after she failed to return and could not be contacted. The pair had spent Tuesday night at the Quintino Sella refuge at Felik, on the Italian side of the Monte Rosa massif, near the Swiss border. They set off at dawn on Wednesday aiming to reach the 4,228-metre summit of Mount Castor. Alexandra, 36, was an experienced climber and had all the necessary equipment. It is believed the pair reached the summit and continued along the ridge to complete the traverse before descending the western slope towards Champoluc. While the route runs along a relatively easy crest, it can become treacherous in bad weather. Local media report that fog and wind may have wiped out visibility, making it difficult to find the descent route among the ice. At first light, the regional mountain rescue service carried out a helicopter flyover but found no trace of the pair. Police later managed to retrieve the last GPS signal sent from Alexandra's watch. An Israeli named 'Yukhal Yulita' has not been arrested by Dutch police, a spokesperson for the Netherlands Public Prosecution Service told Reuters, contrary to social media posts linking an individual of that name to alleged war crimes in Gaza. 'BREAKING: Dutch police have hauled in Israeli officer Yukhal Yulita while she vacationed in Europe — accused by human rights groups of war crimes in Rafah, where Israel massacred civilians and leveled entire neighborhoods,' said Facebook posts, opens new tab on August 10, which shared a picture of a woman next to a police officer. A spokesperson for the Netherlands Public Prosecution Service's National Office told Reuters in a message: 'I can confirm that we have NOT arrested anybody with this name nor an Israeli national ICC- or international crimes related.' An Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) spokesperson told Reuters in a message: "The IDF is not aware of any female officer being detained in any country.' A spokesperson for the Israeli Embassy in The Hague in an email said it had 'no knowledge of any such incident or of an individual by the name 'Yukhal Yulita'.'
