Dubai's latest seasonal destination is a dynamic space for creativity and community, which will host weekly showcases and workshops until mid-May

Dubai, UAE: Marsa Boulevard, the newly launched seasonal waterfront destination, is now open to visitors. Situated at the heart of Dubai Creek, this vibrant and ever-evolving venue sets a new scene for homegrown brands, innovative food concepts, and local talent to showcase their creativity.
More than just a venue, Marsa Boulevard offers an experiential journey designed for those who appreciate the finer aspects of life. Open until mid-May from the golden hour of 4:00pm to midnight on weekdays and 1am on weekends, and resuming in October, guests can enjoy the cooler weather against the panoramic Dubai Creek backdrop with breathtaking sunsets by the waterfront. During Ramadan, extended hours will apply, with exact timings to be announced closer to the season.
The seasonal destination will showcase a vibrant mix of homegrown food concepts and carefully curated culinary experiences, fashion popups, artistry, and immersive activations.
Among the homegrown concepts that have set up shop on Marsa Boulevard's waterfront are The Good Life, Comptoir 102, and Chef Nouel Catis. For food lovers, social culinary experiences will be brought by Reif Japanese Kushiyaki, Home Bakery, SLAB, BLU, Maison Matcha, The Grove, Mara Lounge, TRIO, Haret Jdoudna and Lost in Tokyo, with bespoke menus curated for Dubai's discerning diners.
Marsa Boulevard will elevate the experience with an ever-changing lineup of workshops including The Charm Bar, art installations, pop-ups, and live entertainment every weekend. During Ramadan, whether gathering for iftar or suhoor, visitors can enjoy specially crafted menus designed for memorable evenings in both an indoor and outdoor setting.

Salik is offering ticketless parking to residents of Deira Enrichment Project… In the latest from a slew of road network and parking updates in the city, Salik has now introduced ticketless parking for residents and visitors of the Deira Enrichment Project. A new ticketless system implemented through Salik's partner firm Parkonic will allow some residents to enter and exit parking zones using their vehicle licence plates as digital tickets. No need for physical tickets or payment apps. Residents can have a yearly membership through Parkonic's app, costing Dhs5,000. Surprisingly, visitors can also have an annual membership, albeit a little pricier, for Dhs7,500, both of these prices excluding a five per cent value-added tax. Including VAT, an hourly parking costs Dh5 and Dh25 for overnight, including VAT across eleven districts. Parkonic, like Parkin, is one of the largest private parking operators in the UAE. Salik has collaborated with them to enhance parking and payment systems across the UAE by eliminating the need for apps and tickets and using Salik's e-wallet system. According to a report by Khaleej Times, the partnership is based on a five-year contract, during which the collaboration will result in the integration of Salik's e-Wallet into 107-plus locations under it's operation and any future locations it may operate in the UAE. Earlier this year, Salik introduced variable toll pricing. The new dynamic pricing applies for all days of the year, except Ramadan, which will have separate rates, and was implemented starting January 31, allowing motorists to travel toll free in certain passages of time in the day. Adjustments have been made according to peak and non-peak weekdays, the toll sits at Dhs6 during morning peak hours (6am to 10am) and evening peak hours (4pm to 8pm). During off-peak hours, between 10am and 4pm, and from 8pm to 1am, the toll is Dhs4. Revenue and passenger growth The airline's revenues reached AED 1.75 billion, up 14% from the same period last year. Air Arabia carried over 4.9 million passengers across its hubs between January and March 2025—an 11% increase year-on-year. The average seat load factor was 84%, indicating high operational efficiency. Strong fundamentals and operational excellence Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of Air Arabia, highlighted that the results underscore the group's resilient business model, cost-efficiency, and customer-focused approach. He noted that Air Arabia navigated challenges such as the Ramadan travel season, fuel and currency fluctuations, and supply chain issues, while still delivering solid profitability. Resilience amid global challenges Despite geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainties, and industry-wide inflation, Air Arabia continues to perform strongly. The airline remains focused on network growth, reliable service, and long-term value creation, demonstrating its ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment. Looking ahead: Strategic expansion plans Sheikh Abdullah concluded by reaffirming the airline's strategic growth plans for 2025, which include expanding its destination network, pursuing new growth opportunities, and enhancing value for both shareholders and customers through an efficient and scalable business model.
