It comes a week after The Sun revealed ex-Neighbours star Holly and Brit property magnate and Reform UK treasurer Nick had ended their 14-year marriage.
A source said: 'Holly is incredibly upset. Her main concern is, and always will be, for their two daughters.
'But when it comes to the divorce, she's made it clear she wants what she's owed and will take Nick for every penny. She insists that she is the injured party in this.'
It is understood the pair signed a pre-nuptial agreement before they tied in the knot in 2012 in a lavish £3million wedding.
The source added: 'It's been a very painful time for Holly and she has told friends that the split was not on her terms.
'Given the circumstances it feels as if there could be some room to manoeuvre.
'Whatever the sum ends up being, it will be in the tens of millions of pounds.'
Holly, whose 2002 debut album produced three Top Ten hits, was seen for the first time since the news of the split earlier this week.
She was not wearing her engagement or wedding ring as she got off a flight landing at London's Heathrow.
In a statement, a spokesman for her and Nick confirmed they were divorcing, adding 'This is a private matter. We won't be making any further comment.'

The pair were last photographed together in March going for lunch in London.
They first met in 2009 and Nick proposed two years later in the Maldives.
They married in California in front of 300 guests, including Simon Cowell.
Holly found fame on Australian TV soap Neighbours as Felicity Scully before launching her pop career.
Nick started his property business with brother Christian in the early Nineties while working in advertising.
They now have a vast portfolio, including One Hyde Park, an 86-apartment building in central London worth just over £1billion.
Last year, Nick announced he had given up his Tory Party membership in favour of Reform.
He was appointed treasurer in December and pledged to raise tens of millions for Farage, including pledging a seven figure sum.

No, it's not a flash mob, but hotel guests singing and dancing to the TUI Magic Life anthem in unison. The next evening, I'm amused at myself, getting up and joining in, singing 'Feel the magic in the air, ooo lay-o-lay-oh-lay' as I wave my arms. Apparently, the Magic Life chain of TUI brings a certain buzz. Advertisement I'm at the one in Beldibi, Turkey, which is the smallest. Giddy with gin, mum and I stroll to our hotel room and bump into a lady in the lift who claims it's her 66th time at a Magic Life resort. 'It's my favourite place in the world,' she tells us. 'I'm the Queen of Magic Life!' Advertisement And she's got the badge to prove it — literally, she's wearing it, given to her by the adoring staff. So what's the deal with this, we wonder? Our seaview balcony room is modern with upscale touches, and I get to watch the sunrise each morning from bed! Advertisement We go for breakfast, wondering if we should have been up at the crack of dawn to lay towels on sunbeds. But we are pleasantly surprised to find there is no scramble, with dozens of beds to choose from. Though the hotel is the smallest of the TUI Magic Life group, with 200 rooms, it's still spacious. With the pool, beach and lawns, we are spoilt for choice when it comes to sunbed spots. Advertisement But the views are also worth mentioning because Beldibi is surrounded by natural beauty. A village near Kemer, it's less than an hour away from the city (and airport) of Antalya. They are maintained by a team of gardeners, one of whom offered me fresh, juicy strawberries as I strolled past the herb garden — full of lavender, mint and parsley. Advertisement Tree-lined paths meander through lawns dotted with sunbeds, hammocks and swing seats. While there's lots of welcome shade in the hotel grounds, you'll find plenty of sun on the beach. There is one vast outdoor pool but with lots of activities and rather loud music, we preferred other areas of the hotel, like its private jetty. You can hire sunbeds or a cabana — with a mini-fridge and a hammock-like net you can lie on, that hangs over the sea. When you stay at this resort, however, you do get a 3-in-1 deal. Advertisement There's free entry to the Land Of Legends theme and water park, with rides, slides, shops and more. And you can also use the Rixos Sungate hotel nearby — featuring its own mini-waterpark with 13 flumes and various pools. To be frank, we were far too happy where we were and didn't use either. When you're not snoozing under the sun, there's a list of activities to choose from every day, including mountain biking, beach volleyball and tennis. Advertisement It's not all exercise, though there are nearly ten fitness classes per day. Darts, shuffleboard, and archery are popular too, all bookable with mobile app Magic Life. There's also a decent gym, indoor pool and spa complete with beauty salon. While Mum got a pedicure, I enjoyed a full-body 45-minute massage that was very reasonably priced at £58. Advertisement And there are almost 60 excursions to choose, from jewellery shopping and traditional Turkish baths, to the historic day trip we opted for. Stunning blue waters The first stop was Simena, an ancient town half-submerged under water, caused by an earthquake in the 2nd century AD. It's only accessible via a half-hour boat trip in stunning blue waters — with time for a short swim stop. Even more marvellous was the ruined city of Myra, renowned for its tombs carved into cliff faces. Advertisement The tombs date back to the 4th century BC, built by the Lycian people, who believed that burying someone as high up as possible would help them reach the afterlife easier. Back at the Beldibi, we enjoy dinner on the terrace of the main restaurant, Magico, illuminated by atmospheric lights each night. The food is of a high quality with plenty of local dishes, from kofta to fresh salads. At breakfast, we didn't just have eggs — they were scrambled with chorizo, folded with cheese or eggy bread, alongside roasted potato wedges, sauteed mushrooms and baked beans. Advertisement Lunch, at the Downtown restaurant by the pool, was vibrant and included crunchy salads with a side of treats — pizza, chips and an ice lolly for dessert. There are two other speciality rest-aurants you can book for dinner once per week at no extra cost, as well as a coffee shop and two bars — one of which, the Wunderbar, is open 24 hours. The outdoor bar is nestled in the gardens surrounded by tropical plants. By day, this is the perfect spot for shade and a sea breeze — and by night, it glows in the dark. Advertisement There are plenty of comfy, private areas where you can have a romantic drink, too, watching Antalya sparkling on the horizon over the dark ocean. The Stage is where the magic starts at 10.45pm each evening. Entertainment is on a two-week schedule, so you should never see the same show twice. The team genuinely make an effort to get to know all the guests, and solo travellers even have their own designated staff member called a Magic Angel. Advertisement As the beats get louder and heavier, the entertainment team go around tugging on guests' wrists, willing them to get up. The party can go on until 2am and we find ourselves staying later and later as the week goes on. I guess you could say I am a Magic convert — I won't be settling for anything less now.

During Kneecap's performance at Glastonbury, the group took to the stage and led a "free Palestine" chant before leading five chants against the Prime Minister. Meanwhile, Bobby Vylan - frontman of English punk-rap duo Bob Vylan - chanted "death, death to the IDF" and other alleged anti-Semitic slurs on the West Holts stage last Saturday. The BBC were slammed for broadcasting performance on live TV, including by PM Keir Starmer himself. Avon and Somerset Police confirmed on Monday that cops are investigating Kneecap and Bob Vylan after video and audio footage was examined. Posting on X, the force said: "Video footage and audio from Bob Vylan and Kneecap's performances at Glastonbury Festival has been reviewed. "Following the completion of that assessment process we have decided further enquiries are required and a criminal investigation is now being undertaken. "A senior detective has been appointed to lead this investigation. "This has been recorded as a public order incident at this time while our enquiries are at an early stage." The force confirmed that it had received a "large amount" of contact from across the world about the controversial performances. Julian McMahon, who played Cole Turner in Charmed, has been remembered by his former co-star Alyssa Milano, who referred to him as 'forever Cole' in her heartbreaking tribute Alyssa Milano has paid tribute to Julian McMahon following her Charmed co-star's heartbreaking death. The Australian actor's death from cancer at the age of 56 was announced on Friday night. The late Nip/Tuck star was known to millions of Charmed fans as Cole Turner, the demonic love interest for Alyssa's Phoebe Halliwell. Despite only appearing in the supernatural drama from 2000 until 2003, Julian struck up a close bond with Alyssa and remained friends with her until his death. Writing on Instagram in the wake of his passing being made public, Alyssa told fans: "Julian McMahon was magic. That smile. That laugh. That talent. That presence. He walked into a room and lit it up—not just with charisma, but with kindness. With mischief. With soulful understanding. "We spent years together on Charmed—years of scenes, stories, and so many in-between moments. He made me feel safe as an actor. Seen as a woman. He challenged me, teased me, supported me. We were so different, and yet somehow we always understood each other. "Julian was more than my TV husband. He was a dear friend,' she continued. 'The kind who checks in. The kind who remembers. The kind who shares. The kind who tells you the truth, even when it's uncomfortable—but always with love." She concluded with: "My heart is with Kelly, with Madison, and with Iliana—his girls, his world. He adored them. You could feel it in every conversation, every story, every text. He was a family man above all, and he loved deeply. Losing him feels unreal. Too soon. Too unfair. Rest, my friend. I'll carry your laugh with me. Forever Cole. Forever Julian." Julian died in Clearwater, Florida, on July 2, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances and a family in mourning. "With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer," his wife Kelly McMahon shared with Deadline. "Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible. We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories." Hailing from Australia and the son of former Prime Minister Billy McMahon, Julian began his journey in the spotlight as a model before transitioning to acting in the late 1980s. His early acting days included a stint on Home and Away from 1990 to 1991, followed by his feature film debut alongside Elliott Gould in Wet and Wild Summer! Seeking greater opportunities, he then made the move to Hollywood, securing a part in NBC's Another World in 1993, which paved the way for further success in series such as Profiler and eventually the role of Cole Turner in Charmed. McMahon's career reached new heights when he secured the lead in Ryan Murphy's 'Nip/Tuck', portraying Dr Christian Troy across six seasons and earning a Golden Globe nomination for his performance. With his charm as a leading actor, he quickly landed the role of Jess LaCroix in FBI: Most Wanted, starring for three seasons before his departure in 2022. His final two films saw him playing Scally in The Surfer and Chick Carlson in The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat. He also portrayed Prime Minister Stephen Roos in Netflix's The Residence this year. Not only was he a successful leading man, but he also lent his voice to Dr Doom in the 2005 Fantastic Four video game. Julian tied the knot with Dannii Minogue in 1994 after meeting her on the set of Home and Away a few years earlier. He even featured in her music video for This Is It, which was inspired by their relationship. Their careers often kept them apart, with him working in the US and her in the UK. A year and a half later, they decided to part ways. In 1999, he wed Baywatch star Brooke Burns, and the couple welcomed a daughter in 2000 before their separation in 2001. He then married for a third time in 2014 to Kelly Paniagua.
