Jason Kelce Shows Off Weight-Loss While Playing Golf

Miami Herald10-05-2025

Former NFL player Jason Kelce showed off his recent weight loss while playing some rounds of golf.
E! News reported that the former Philadelphia Eagles lineman gave fans a glimpse of his physique during the 2025 Truist Championship pro-am golf tournament. While at the May 7 event, Kelce took off his shirt, showcasing his 25-pound weight loss. In an Instagram video filmed at the event, uploaded on the PGA Tour's Instagram account, Kelce confirmed that he's down to 270 pounds from 295 pounds since his 2024 NFL retirement.
According to E! News, Kelce has been open about his fitness journey on his and his brother, Travis Kelce's podcast, the New Heights Podcast. In a March 2025 episode of the podcast, Kelce said he's competing with former Eagles player Beau Allen to see who can lose the most body fat while still gaining muscle in three months.
When his brother asked why he's doing the fitness competition, he replied, "When you retire [from the NFL], you have to do stupid competitions for your sanity."
Kelce discussed his fitness journey during a February 2025 interview with Men's Health. He said he would like "to get down to 262, 250 [pounds] here in the next few months." In addition, he said he is aware of his calorie intake and enjoys lifting weights.
"I love lifting heavy weights, so I still do that. I still squat heavy, I still bench heavy, and actually kind of tweaked my back early in my retirement deadlifting too much," said Kelce to the publication. "But I don't know-it's hard to stop lifting a certain way, and I know that I need to get more joint-friendly. I haven't made that jump quite yet. Joint health in general, I'm on borrowed time on all my joints and that's just the way it is for anyone who plays that long in the NFL."
Kelce welcomed his fourth child, Finn, with his wife, Kylie Kelce, in March 2025. Kylie introduced the newest member of their family in an April 2025 Instagram upload. The image showed Finn wrapped up in a blanket with a bow on her head.
"Whoop, there she is! Finnley "Finn" Anne Kelce 3/30/25," read the caption of the post.
The couple has three older daughters, Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett.

Stephen A. Smith: Failure to buy Bills sparked Donald Trump's first presidential run

Nearly 10 years ago to the day, a certain someone took a certain ride down a certain golden escalator and most certainly upended American politics. As Stephen A. Smith told it on Monday night's edition of The Daily Show, the rise of Donald Trump the politician is tied directly to his inability to buy the Buffalo Bills a year before he threw his hat in the presidential ring. 'In 2014, he wanted to purchase the NFL's Buffalo Bills,' Smith told Jon Stewart. 'The price tag was $1.4 billion. . . . My sources tell me he had $1.1 [billion]. . . . He literally called me in 2014 and he said, 'Stephen, I'm going to tell you this right now' — and this is a quote — 'if them mutherfuckers get in my way, I'm gonna get them all back. I'm gonna run for president.' Those are his exact words. 'And so the NFL often jokes with me, 'So it's our fault' when I tell them that story. And I say, 'Yeah.'' This prompted Stewart to make a direct plea to the camera: 'People of Buffalo. Give him the fucking team. Save us.' Smith explained Trump's viewpoint on the matter. 'He was putting the word out that if this doesn't happen — he wanted to do it, and this should happen, I'm Donald Trump, I'm very popular and well known, I'm worth over a billion dollars, I should be able to purchase an NFL team if I want it,' Smith said. 'And if I can't get it, it's because they're getting in my way. That was his position. Their position was, 'You didn't have enough money.'' And he didn't. Because at the end of the day that's all it takes to buy an NFL team: Come up with the best offer. Terry and Kim Pegula came up with a better offer than the twice future president. But, yes, there's an alternate universe in which Trump owns the Bills and he isn't the president and he calls in to PFT Live on a regular basis to complain that the league office is being very unfair.
