Reznor and Ross will also perform material from their numerous award-winning scores, including The Social Network, Soul, Challengers, Watchmen and Gone Girl. Tickets go on sale May 21.
'There's no headliner. There's no hierarchy. This is a stacked lineup of visionaries doing something you might not see again,' Reznor and Ross say.
Meanwhile, Nine Inch Nails' first tour in three years will get underway June 15 in Dublin and run through Sept. 18 in Los Angeles. Reznor and Ross are also following in the footsteps of electronic music legends Wendy Carlos and Daft Punk by scoring the third film in the Tron franchise, Tron: Ares, which will be released Oct. 10.

Cate Blanchett Doesn't Know If Her ‘Squid Game' Cameo Will Lead to More (But She'd Like it to)
That shocking finale coda of Hwang Dong-hyuk's Squid Game series left many curious about what it meant for the American spin-off Netflix has in the works. When the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) pauses next to an alley in downtown Los Angeles, you witness, along with him, the Squid Game recruitment ritual being administered by a new face: Cate Blanchett, wearing a suit and offering up the Ddakji slaps. It's hard to believe the Academy Award-winning actress was only recruited for a one-off cameo right after she claimed to be retired. In an interview with Variety, Blanchett discussed how the guest role came to be and what it might mean for her future in the franchise. 'Because it's such a cult series and they were shooting in L.A. of all places, everyone was on a need-to-know basis,' she said of the 'out of the blue offer' that stipulated she bring her own suit. 'I got a couple of storyboards. I had to [learn to] play the game very quickly. I had to practice and practice. I knew there were four or five setups that they were going to do, and I knew what they needed from every shot, and then I was given the sides. But it was one of the more mysterious jobs.' Blanchett explained that while her role was a feature on the series finale, she'd consider returning. 'I am wildly open to anything,' she shared with the trade, 'and in a world that is so beautifully, magically created like that, for sure. They're amazing world-builders, and that series has been eaten alive. I don't think there's a corner of the globe that it hasn't touched in some way.' What's so playfully suspicious about her answers is that Netflix has enlisted David Fincher for his take on the American Squid Game spin-off. And he happens to be a filmmaker Blanchett worked with on The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, so what gives? Nothing, apparently, just coincidence. The actress affirmed to Variety, 'I mean, I'd love to work with David again. It's been ages. But no, I don't know anything more than you do. I'm not being coy. I really don't.' Want more io9 news? Josh Freese Readies Return After Making ‘Hardest Decision' to Leave Nine Inch Nails
Josh Freese stopped performing with Nine Inch Nails in 2008, marking the end of a three-year stint in the touring band for the group led by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. He spent the next few years touring with Weezer, Paramore, Sublime with Rome, and more. Earlier this year, he was notably let go from Foo Fighters. But he never forgot what it felt like to be onstage with Nine Inch Nails and he's ready to relive that feeling. 'NIN was a band that left me walking off stage every single night thinking, 'That was incredible. We absolutely crushed it,'' Freese shared in his first public statement since it was announced that he would reunite with Nine Inch Nails on their upcoming Peel It Back run. 'And it wasn't just a feeling, it was a certainty. That level of intensity, pride, and satisfaction after each show is something I've rarely experienced anywhere else.' Rubin's stint with the band began first in 2008, when he replaced Freese, but became more permanent in 2013. 'Being back on tour with Trent and the crew — helping them do what they do best night after night — is something I'm incredibly excited about,' Freese continued. 'To be part of that energy again feels amazing. If you get a chance to catch one of these shows over the next six weeks, I promise, they're going to be absolutely unforgettable.
