Jermaine Eluemunor claps back at critics, defends New York Giants' offensive line
The New York Giants have become a soft target and everyone loves punching down.
That's exactly what ESPN's Mike Greenberg and Damien Woody did on Thursday during an episode of Get Up, with each taking turns mocking the Giants and warning players to avoid the "disaster" of an organization.
Woody delivered a specific message to Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, urging him to steer clear of the Giants at all cost. Greenberg mirrored that message, taking aim at the team's offensive line and the Northeast weather.
"I'm all for people getting as much leverage as they possibly can," Greenberg said. "Matt Stafford can't seriously want to go to the Giants. I don't mean this as disrespectfully as that sounds, but ... You're going to a wind tunnel behind a terrible offensive line on a team that was just awful last year. Where the coach and the general manager's careers are basically hanging by a thread in that market.
"They're in a ridiculously competitive division. I'm all for trying to drum up leverage, but if you're Matt Stafford, [the Giants] can't possibly be right now anywhere near the top of your list, can it?"
That commentary, specifically about the offensive line, did not sit well with Giants right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor, who shot back at Greenberg on X and challenged him to come watch film.
"I'm not one to make excuses but before [OT Andrew Thomas] went down we were dogging some of the best DLs in the league, go watch the tape," Eluemunor wrote. "We can sit down and watch the tape together, my guy."
Like linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux, Eluemunor is fed up with outsiders taking potshots at the Giants. Unfortunately, this is going to persist until the team starts winning.

Jason Kelce Reacts to Eagles Fan's Absurd Gesture
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Though his time with the franchise has come to an end, Jason Kelce is still a beloved figure within the Philadelphia Eagles fan base. On Thursday afternoon, the longtime center reacted to one person's shocking tribute to him. Eagles fans have a reputation for being a passionate and rowdy bunch when it comes to their football team. This was on full display on social media, as one supporter went to extreme levels to showcase their love for the team. In a video that has quickly gone viral online, one Eagles fan decided to honor Kelce with a tattoo. However, it isn't anything like one would expect. Kelce is shirtless in the depiction and has the Eagles logo head coming out from between his legs. As the tattoo quickly started making the rounds on social media, it garnered a reaction from Kelce as well. He is rather stunned by the gesture and doesn't really know how to feel about the whole situation. Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles celebrates on the field after defeating the New York Giants 38-7 in the NFC Divisional Playoff game at Lincoln Financial Field on January 21, 2023 in Philadelphia. I'm not sure if I should be offended or flattered. — Jason Kelce (@JasonKelce) June 12, 2025 When the Eagles drafted Kelce in the sixth round of the 2011 draft, nobody expected him to become such a foundational piece of the franchise. He'd go on to be a key part of the offense as one of the NFL's top centers. Kelce was also among the league's most durable linemen in his career, playing in at least 16 games in 11 of his 13 seasons. Upon retirement, Kelce finished his career with seven Pro-Bowl nominations, six All-Pro selections, and is a one-time champion. After helping deliver the Eagles a championship in 2017, Kelce hung around for years in hopes of getting back to the mountaintop. He came close to going out on top but ended up falling short against his brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Not long after his retirement, the Eagles managed to get back to the game's biggest stage and got revenge on Patrick Mahomes and company. While his playing days might be over, Kelce will forever be adored by Eagles fans. This situation is a testament to that, as fans are still more than willing to get tattoos done of him. Since walking away as a player, Kelce has found different ways to stay around the game of football. He quickly transitioned into an on-screen career as an NFL analyst for ESPN. When he isn't giving his football takes and insights on TV, he is doing so via his viral "New Heights" podcast with Travis.

Aaron Rodgers, Mike Tomlin form unique Super Bowl partnership
The new partnership between Steelers coach Mike Tomlin and Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers brings together two men who once squared off at the highest level of the game. In Super Bowl XLV, Rodgers and the Packers defeated Tomlin and the Steelers. Now that they're together, it's only the second time that a quarterback has joined forces with a coach whom the quarterback beat in the Super Bowl. The first time happened 32 years ago. And it involved a quarterback whom PFT Live co-host Chris Simms knows well. Very well. Extremely well. But, apparently, not well enough to know that his father, Phil, played for coach Dan Reeves in 1993 — seven years after Phil and the Giants beat Reeves and the Broncos. The video is attached. Give it a watch. If only to see Chris completely whiff on making the connection, despite the various hints he was getting.

NFLPA renews call for grass fields
The vast majority of NFL players continue to prefer playing on grass. Plenty of owners refuse to provide it. The league's position becomes harder to justify when stadiums that use the fake stuff for football install grass for soccer. The World Club Cup Group Stage (whatever that means) happens this weekend at MetLife Stadium. Grass has been installed at the home of the Giants and Jets for the event. Via Alex Schiffer of the NFL Players Association noticed the photo and reacted. 'Looks nice,' the union tweeted, along with this hashtag: "#SaferFields.' It's not a new position for the union. Former NFLPA president JC Tretter has made the case for grass over turf. The league has said that the issue is more complicated. In our view, it's simple. It's about cost. If having a well-maintained grass field cost the same as having a synthetic field, every NFL stadium would have grass. The issue will become more pronounced next year, when multiple NFL stadiums install grass for the FIFA World Cup. Including MetLife Stadium, where the final will be held. With the NFL poised to push for 18 regular-season games (up from 17) and 16 international games (up from 10), the union has leverage. Whether that leverage can be converted into grass fields in all NFL venues remains to be seen.
