Good Morning Britain star shares 'exciting' announcement away from ITV show
Charlotte Hawkins has taken to social media to share some "exciting" news with fans.
The Good Morning Britain star logged into Instagram account on Saturday (July 19) to announce that she's filmed an episode of BBC's The Weakest Link.
She shared a series of snaps from behind-the-scenes of the iconic quiz show which will air later this year.
Charlotte filmed alongside the likes of Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver, Strictly Come Dancing's Nicola Adams and comedian Josh Widdecombe.
She captiined her post: "Some exciting filming - taking part in The Weakest Link! Just a bit terrifying... you'll have to watch later in the year to see how we all did! #weakestlink #quizshow #quiz."
Her post was quickly inundated with messages from fans, with one writing: Great photos and looking fab."
Another added: "You are absolutely brilliant Charlotte Hawkins." A third person said: "Probably smashed it."
A fourth social media user said: "I'd say you did alright looking at that pic."
It comes after Charlotte issued an apology to a Good Morning Britain guest live on air after she became emotional during an interview.
During Tuesday's (July 15) show, Charlotte and co-host Richard Madeley spoke to a man called Tristan, who recently lost his wife to breast cancer.
Before her death, Dr Susan Michaelis campaigned for there to be research into lobular breast cancer, after living with the disease for 14 years.
While speaking to Tristan on the show, it seemed as though Charlotte was overcome with emotion as the interview wrapped up.
Tristan commented: "Thank you to all the women who have this disease, for giving it some airtime." Richard replied: "Oh, it's you that deserves the thanks."
Charlotte added: "Thank you for coming in when this has only just happened, and you know, I know that obviously, you were supremely proud of her and everything she was doing."
However, as the ITV star was speaking, it was clear she was getting emotional as her voice started to break, holding back tears.
She continued: "I know she would be so proud of you continuing this fight. Sorry, it's one of things that have effected a lot of people this morning."
Tristan told the two presenters that the Lobular Moon Shot Project is the most politically supported campaign there is and he won't stop until the money is given to the researchers.
His wife, who sadly passed away earlier this month, founded the Lobular Moon Shot Project back in 2023 to try and raise £20m in funding to go into research for the biology of invasive lobular breast cancer.

Love Island's Harrison in surprise SNUB to Lauren after having sex with her and quitting the villa
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) LOVE Island's Harrison Solomon has surprised fans by not following Lauren Wood on Instagram after leaving the villa together. Although the pair slept together during their time on the show, Harrison, 22, is not yet following Lauren, 26, despite her already following him. The unexpected 'snub' has led to speculation about the status of their relationship after the show. Harrison previously insisted he does not regret having sex in the villa – but hopes his parents weren't watching. The sportsman decided to leave the show on Thursday after being involved in a dramatic love triangle with Lauren Wood and Toni Laites. Viewers were shocked when he was seen making a plea to re-couple with Las Vegas cabana server Toni, despite bedding Lauren the night before. But Harrison, from Burton upon Trent but now based in Miami, said he has no regrets about taking things to the next level on TV. Asked how he felt about his mum and dad knowing what he had done, he said: 'I hope they didn't see. But listen, it was a natural thing. 'I don't think I intended to have sex in the villa, but in there all the Islanders could tell we were so attracted to each other. Naturally, it was going to happen. 'The spark between us was crazy. I probably wasn't thinking about my parents and them watching it, but it naturally happened and I don't regret it.' Lauren, who works as a dog walker in York, was booted from the villa on Wednesday night. 'What is that-' ask baffled fans after Love Island's Lauren confronts Harrison over love triangle with Toni She begged Harrison to follow and, 24 hours later, he made the choice to go. Tonight, fans of the series will see the pair reunite on the spin-off show, Aftersun. Speaking about Lauren, Harrison said: 'We will make the distance work. It will be no issue. 'We left on good terms, but the two days prior to leaving, we weren't talking properly. 'So it would be good to have a conversation, get everything out in the open and hopefully we move forward from there. 'I feel very strongly about the girl. 'I wouldn't have left if I didn't. 'I have no doubt in my mind that she'll be my girlfriend one day. I'm buzzing to see her and reunite. She's such a great girl.' Meanwhile, Harrison said he would be 'mortified' if someone treated his sister the way he acted towards Toni. He revealed: 'I'd like to think we could be friends. I did her wrong a few times in there, so I understand if she doesn't want to reciprocate that. 'The conversation prior to me leaving was a big moment for me and her. I reflected on my whole situation throughout the day, I just let it out. 'You could tell by me getting emotional, I was upset about how I've acted and upset about Toni being upset as well. 'Similarly, if someone treated my sister like I'd treated Toni in there, obviously I'd be mortified. 'I wanted to apologise to her and I think she could see I was being genuine. 'I'm happy with how things were left.' Aside from Toni and Lauren, Harrison also explored connections with air hostess Helena Ford and Shakira Khan in the villa. Harrison said: 'Normally, I say I live life with no regrets. 'But the way I went about certain situations, I definitely would have handled it differently on reflection. 'Should have been more honest' 'I feel like I would've taken myself away from the situation for a day or two and just really figured out what I wanted. 'I would've had those awkward conversations just to let people know where my head was at. I do shy away from those conversations on the outside. 'Especially here, I should have been more honest. 'It was for the greater good, and it would have stopped people's feelings from getting hurt. 'People were hurt more by me being so indecisive and trying to avoid awkward conversations. 'I definitely would have gone about handling triangles in another way.' 4 They left the villa together in Thursday's episode Credit: Shutterstock Editorial

In a video posted to her Instagram page on Saturday (19 July), the fashion designer shared a video of the former England footballer covering his head with his hand. David had attempted a DIY buzzcut, a look he famously sported in the early noughties, but ended up with a bald patch. "The clipper head fell off," he explained. "I'm gonna always be honest with you, it looks terrible," Victoria told her husband.
