Julia Roberts looks set to give fans all-star performance in new psychological thriller
The film, entitled After The Hunt, centres around a college professor who finds herself at a 'personal and professional crossroads' when a star student levels an accusation against one of her colleagues, while a dark secret from her past threatens to come to light.

The trailer kicks off with Ayo's character, the star student Maggie, seemingly invited to an after-hours gathering with her professors and other select students.
She has a back and forth debate with the professor named Hank, played by Andrew Garfield, about the views that different generations have on 'offending' people, with Hank questioning when younger people made it a 'cardinal sin' and why they are afraid to 'say the wrong thing'.
Maggie hits back with: 'Maybe it was around the same time your generation started making sweeping generalisations about ours.'

Maggie, looking dishevelled and incredibly uneasy, tells her with a shaky voice that Hank 'crossed the line' after walking her home.
Tension further rises when Maggie brings up her professor's 'history' as the focus shifts to Julia's character's mysterious backstory.
What follows is a series of scenes that establish Julia's position as the centre of conflict between students and professors, hearing stories from both sides and seemingly weighed down by a fast-approaching dilemma that will affect both her personal and professional relationships. Julia ends the trailer in suspense as she whispers to Maggie: 'Not everything is supposed to make you feel comfortable.'
Luca Guadagnino has consistently delighted fans in the past with his films, such as Call Me by Your Name in 2017 and Challengers in 2024.

Meanwhile, Ayo Edebiri is a popular figure among Irish fans who have a long-running joke that she is one of our own, despite her having no technical heritage from the island.
Since using an Irish accent in an interview where she joked that she played Jenny the donkey in The Banshees of Inisherin, Ayo was labelled an 'honorary Irish person' across social media and the gag has continued over the past couple of years.
Now, she looks set to shine as bright as both Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield in what could be three of the most gripping performances of 2025.
After The Hunt, written by Nora Garrett, will arrive in cinemas this October.

Michael Flatley coy about possible presidential run
LAST UPDATE | 56 mins ago THE FACE OF Riverdance has not ruled out a presidential run. Michael Flatley was coy about the possibility on RTÉ Radio One's Brendan O'Connor earlier today, saying that he has been approached by many people who have asked about his intentions to run. He said that this is something he 'takes seriously'. 'I've not made the decision, but I have a team of advisers that are advising me on this. I have a huge business to run,' Flatley said. 'I have an army of dancers counting on me to make a living. I have a whiskey company, a beautiful young wife and son that I want to spend time with. 'If I thought that I could be of benefit to the Irish people and maybe more importantly, if I thought I could be a voice of the Irish people. Right now, I don't think they have a voice, not a true proper deep voice that you know that speaks their language.' Flatley said that he regularly meets 'the average man' on the street. 'I meet them all, and I hear their concerns,' he told the show, 'and I'd be lying if I said they're happy right now, and somebody has to speak for the Irish people.' The 67-year-old said that he doesn't think it's necessary for another politician to take on the role of Uachtarain na hEireann. 'It's a statesman's role, but I spent the last 30 years of my life touring the world promoting Ireland and Irish culture.' Despite his reticence in outright declaring his intention to run for the role, Flatley went on to describe his own actions as a statesman. 'I've met them all. I've met the Bushes, the Obamas, Trump, Putin. I've met the Clintons. I've met the king and queen of England. I've met the king and queen of Sweden and of Spain. Asked if he had been approached by a political party, Flatley said that he hadn't, but has been 'approached by some very weighted individuals… people in the know.' He concluded on the assertion that he has not made a decision, 'but it does get frustrating when you see the hard-working Irish taxpayer working as hard out and having no say in things. 'Let it be said that I stand for Ireland and the Irish people, Sin é.' Independent TD Catherine Connolly is the only candidate to have formally launched her campaign. Mairead McGuinness has been confirmed as Fine Gael's candidate but has yet to be formally ratified. 'Excellent ambassador' Speaking on RTÉ's Saturday with Colm Ó Mongáin, Kerry TD and Minister of State Michael Healy-Rae ruled himself out of the presidential race. It's after broadcaster and former Fine Gael TD Ivan Yates claimed in an interview with that Healy-Rae could be a 'dark horse'. Healy-Rae said he has a 'very clear focus' on being a TD for Kerry. However, he added that Flatley is an 'excellent ambassador for our traditions of dance and music'. 'He's a person that I know personally, and he's a very, very nice gentleman,' said Healy-Rae. Meanwhile, Sinn Féin TD Martin Kenny said his party is 'having a discussion' on whether to put forward a Sinn Féin candidate. 'Many people feel that as the largest opposition party, we should be running somebody,' said Kenny. 'Other people think we shouldn't and we should be backing somebody from a broad left-alliance. 'It's up in the air, we are considering it and we will take our time considering it. Conor McGregor and his fiancée Dee Devlin appear unbothered by his latest scandal — as the fighter shared videos of them on a yacht. The famous Irish sports star was embroiled in two more bouts of controversy this week after he was spotted allegedly getting close to a woman who wasn't Devlin in Florida, while controversial rapper Azealia Banks shared photos of what appeared to be McGregor DMing her nude photos of himself. Despite the controversies, McGregor, who hasn't fought since 2021 when he lost back-to-back to Dustin Poirier, appeared to be unbothered by the fresh scandals, as he shared photos of himself, Devlin, and their children on a yacht. The second video shows his three sons, Conor Junior, Rian and Mack, taking in the sights while McGregor tells them to smile for the cameras. A third shows Devlin in a red bikini while McGregor shows off her latest pedicure, before, finally, McGregor shares a video of himself in the shade while the wind blows in the background. He appears to wipe something off his face as he mean-mugs the camera a few more times in the 15-second clip, with McGregor simply captioning the vids with a sun and praying emoji. ☀️ 🙏 — Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) July 19, 2025 The videos come as McGregor was accused of sexual harassment by rapper Azealia Banks, after she shared photos of McGregor allegedly sending nude photos of himself to her in her Twitter DMs. Ms Banks, who is known for her outspoken views just as much as her music, took aim at McGregor — writing 'How you gonna send a b**ch a some crooked d**k pics then threaten her not to tell. @TheNotoriousMMA n**ga do you know who the f**k I am?' Banks' accusations came after McGregor, who has been engaged to his fiancée Dee Devlin since August 2020, was photographed on a beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with an unknown bikini-clad brunette, sharing his sun lounger, enjoying a cold drink. McGregor has found himself embroiled in several controversies this week — including after controversial rapper Azealia Banks accused him of sending her nude photos.
