Ravi Teja's Next, Directed by Kishore, Is Set For A Sankranthi Release
The film marks the actor's collaboration with the production house SLV Cinemas, who are also the makers of The Paradise, featuring Nani.
Ravi Teja, also known as Telugu cinema's Mass Maharaja, is currently gearing up for the release of his next action entertainer, Mass Jathara, scheduled to release in August 2025. Directed by debutant Bhanu Bhogavarapu, the film also features Sreeleela and Nitish Nirmal in the lead. As fans await to see the film, the south star has now announced his new project, tentatively titled RT76.
The upcoming project marks the actor's collaboration with the production house SLV Cinemas, who are also the makers of The Paradise, featuring Nani.
Taking to X, the production banner dropped a poster of the upcoming film wherein Ravi Teja is seen donning a blue suit and sitting inside an empty aeroplane with his legs placed on top of a seat in front of him. Sharing the poster, the makers wrote in the caption, 'Be seated and fasten your seat belts for MASS MAHARAAJ @RaviTeja_offl's Entertaining Ride with #RT76 A @DirKishoreOffl's bonafide entertainer. Produced by @sudhakarcheruk5 under @SLVCinemasOffl. In Cinemas Sankranthi 2026 Begins with Pooja Ceremony and Muhurtam today."
Notably, the film's Pooja ceremony and Muhurat were held today, June. Helmed by Tirumala Kishore, the film promises to be a mass entertainer and has been scheduled for theatrical release on Sankranthi 2026. However, details related to its female cast are yet to be announced by the makers.
As soon as the makers dropped the poster of RT76, fans were quick to share their reactions to it. An Instagram user wrote, 'All the best the whole team." Another one commented, 'Mass. Waiting #RT76." One of them shared, 'Waiting for this one."
RT76 will be facing a big clash with South star Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film Jana Nayagan, set for a grand release on January 9, 2026, as well as Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara's highly anticipated Mega157.
Coming back to Ravi Teja's Mass Jathara, the makers recently announced the new release date of their film. It will now be hitting the theatres on August 27, 2025. It marks the South star's second collaboration with Sreeleela after their successful pairing in Dhamaka.
FYI: Mass Jathara was earlier scheduled to be released in May 2025 but was later postponed to July 2025. However, to avoid a clash with Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara, the makers decided to push back the release date to August 2025.

Netflix's 'The Royals' actress Nora Fatehi on stepping into Tamil cinema with 'Kanchana 4': 'When the film was offered to me...'
With experience in Malayalam and Telugu industries too, Nora reflects on the differences she's noticed. 'Every industry has its own flavour. Tamil cinema is very rooted in storytelling.' Nora Fatehi is stepping into Tamil cinema with a bang as she headlines Kanchana 4, the much-awaited fourth installment of the popular horror-comedy franchise. Already riding high on the success of her latest song Oh Mama! Tetema, Nora is embracing this new phase of her career with enthusiasm. Talking to a leading publication, about why she chose Kanchana 4, the actor shares, 'When Kanchana 4 was offered to me, I immediately felt it was the right project to step into Tamil cinema. The franchise already has such a strong legacy, and the script was so unique that I wanted to be part of it. I was looking to be a part of another comedy after the success of Madgaon Express.' STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Language has been a challenge, but Nora isn't one to shy away from experiments. 'Of course language is always a challenge, but I love challenges, I've had to adapt to Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam before, and now Tamil. It's definitely the hardest so far but I spend extra hours rehearsing my lines and working on the pronunciation,' she explains. What has kept her motivated is the encouragement she's received on set. 'The nicest thing has been the crew telling me they didn't expect me to be so natural in the comic bits. That kind of feedback really keeps me going. And I feel it's about respecting the culture, the language, and giving your best,' says Nora, who has earlier acted in films like Be Happy. With experience in Malayalam and Telugu industries too, Nora reflects on the differences she's noticed. 'Every industry has its own flavour. Tamil cinema is very rooted in storytelling, and there's a lot of emphasis on performance and strong scripts. Bollywood, on the other hand, has its own larger-than-life energy. Both industries are passionate about cinema, but the styles of working, the audience expectations, and even the filmmaking processes feel slightly different. For me, it's exciting to experience and learn from both worlds.'
