Heart Evangelista, now in her 40s, enters 'soft power era': ‘I've channeled my energy towards building my future'

Now in her 40s, Heart Evangelista is entering her 'soft power era,' where she no longer needs to shout just to be heard. In Boy Abunda's interview with the Global Fashion Icon during a GCash event Tuesday, Heart shared that her 40s are all about being at peace. 'I feel like in your 40s, it comes with that innate poise that really comes with experiences,' she said. 'I did a lot of healing.' 'But now that I'm 40, I'm glad I made it to 40, literally. I really went through a war path." Heart reflected on how her perspective has shifted over the years, sharing that she is no longer preoccupied with pleasing others or winning their approval. 'In an interview with you before, I said that I've given myself away so many times because I wanted people to like me,' she said. 'I allowed them to chop me up and sell pieces of me just to make people happy,' she added. But nowadays, Heart has been focusing her time and energy on more meaningful pursuits. 'I am not going to waste my energy,' she said. 'I have channeled my energy towards building my future, towards being productive.' 'For those people who understand, there's a mutual respect with the kind of woman that I am today, and it's the same with people that I speak to." Heart was among the Kapuso celebrities who lit up the blue carpet of the GMA Gala 2025 earlier in August. She turned heads in a couture Schiaparelli gown from the Fall 2023 collection, the piece featuring multicolored hand-painted fabric from neck to hem. Before the GMA Gala 2025, Heart attended the fourth State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr in July. Kim delos Santos opens up about breakup with ex-fiancé: 'Nawalan ng love'

Kim delos Santos has opened up about her past 11-year relationship with her ex-fiancé and the reason behind their separation. On Monday's episode of 'Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,' the nurse and former actress said that she had a long-term relationship after her split with her ex-husband and "T.G.I.S." co-star Dino Gueverra. 'I had an 11-year relationship. Fiance ko na po. We were supposed to get married, so between Dino and my fiance, it was 18 years. So two guys,' said Kim, who has been single for eight years now. 'Tapos 'non, hindi na ako nag-boyfriend noong nag-break kami ng fiancé ko. Nag-self healing na lang ako." According to Kim, her ex-fiance, also a Filipino based in the United States, became her 'comfort person.' 'Naging comfort ko siya. Parang takot ako sobrang ma-in love, 'yung parang safe lang,' she shared. She admitted that love eventually disappeared in their relationship, saying, "Nawalan ng love, parang naging magkapatid. You run out of love." "Sa kaniya ko naintindihan kung ano naramdaman sa 'kin ni Dino, 'yung masyadong clingy, 'yung laging nakadikit, 'yung parang universe mo 'yung isang tao. That's why hindi na 'ko galit kay Dino. When I looked back, 'yung eight years na [single] ako, I was trying to figure out what am I doing wrong and what's wrong with the relationships? And then I realized, 'yun nga," she shared. "Mabait, love ako, and then nakita ko 'yung parang, that was me with Dino. So nawawala pala 'pag sobra, it will push you away." Kim was married to Dino before they separated in 2004. Following their split, Kim migrated to the United States to study nursing. Before getting married, the two starred in the hit show, "T.G.I.S." where they were known as a popular love team. —Jade Veronique Yap/CDC, GMA Integrated News

Kim delos Santos reveals Dingdong Dantes was cause of past 'tampuhan' with Antoinette Taus

Kim delos Santos revealed that she and Antoinette Taus had some tampuhan before during their "T.G.I.S." days because of a guy: their co-star Dingdong Dantes. The nurse and former child actress guested on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Monday where she made the revelation for the first time. During the "Fast Talk" segment, Kim named Antoinette, who she referred to as Toni, as the actress she had tampuhan with. When prodded by Tito Boy about it, she shared that it was because they both liked Dingdong, whom Antoinette eventually had a relationship with. "Parehas kaming gusto nung time na 'yun siguro kaya lagi kami nagtatalo. Siya 'yung lalaking gusto ko before, [si] Dingdong. Pinagseselosan before. Ay nasabi ko rin! First time kong banggitin 'yun," she shared. According to Kim, they managed to settle the issue since they have all matured. "Oo, tumanda na eh, we're older. Syempre bagets eh, we were teens, so selos dito, selos dun, 'yung mga ganun," she said. Kim also shared during her interview that she got the chance to talk to Dingdong and Polo Ravales earlier. "Sabi ni Polo, 'Dingdong has a new show.' Sabi ko, 'really?' Sabi niya, 'Sabihin mo sali ka' and then Dingdong was asking me if it's okay for me to come here and stuff like that and I said yeah, I can always ask for changing my work to PRN as needed, so it's one of the options that I've been thinking about and Dingdong was like, 'sigurado ka ba?' Kasi namimiss Tito Boy, [acting's] in your blood, it's like you miss it," she said. Kim is back in the Philippines after being away from showbiz for more than 20 years. During her interview with Tito Boy, she mentioned that she returned because she misses acting and wants to try it out again. She added that she would like to do drama and work with the same people she has worked with before. Kim starred as Tere Gonzaga in the '90s coming-of-age series "T.G.I.S." alongside Dingdong, Antoinette, the late Red Sternberg, Angelu De Leon, Bobby Andrews, Rica Peralejo, Dino Guevarra, and more. Directed by Mark Reyes, the show premiered on GMA Network in August 1995 and had over 200 episodes. It also had a film, "T.G.I.S.: The Movie," released in 1997. —CDC, GMA Integrated News
