
Vivo X200 FE goes on sale in India: Check price, bank offers, features, specifications and more
The Vivo X200 FE is being offered in two variants: the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at ₹ 54,999, while the 16GB RAM + 512GB variant will cost ₹ 59,999. Both prices are inclusive of all taxes. The phone comes in three colour options, Amber Yellow, Luxe Grey and Frost Blue.
One of the main highlights of the device is its 6.31-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, developed in collaboration with ZEISS. It offers a peak brightness of 5000 nits and includes advanced eye protection features. Built with an aerospace-grade metal frame and weighing 186g, the handset is compact yet durable. It features Schott Xensation Core glass and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. It also holds SGS Triple Protection Certification.
In terms of optics, the camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, ZEISS Multifocal Portrait mode, and up to 100x digital zoom. The imaging system is designed to handle both close-up shots and wide landscapes, targeting users who demand flexibility in mobile photography.
Under the hood, the X200 FE is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, paired with the Immortalis-G720 GPU. The device houses a 6500mAh battery with support for 90W FlashCharge, promising extended usage without frequent charging breaks. The inclusion of an AI Semantic Video Engine aims to improve performance for content creation, gaming, and multitasking.
On the software front, the phone runs vivo's Funtouch OS, which includes features such as AI Screen Translation, Circle to Search with Google, and the Gemini AI Assistant.
To attract buyers, Vivo has announced a set of launch offers. Customers can opt for EMI plans starting at ₹ 3,055 per month with 18 months no-cost EMI and zero down payment. Buyers can also receive up to 10 per cent instant cashback on select bank cards, including SBI, HDFC, IDFC First, DBS, HSBC, and Yes Bank. Alternatively, they can avail of a 10 per cent exchange bonus via the V-Upgrade programme, which also includes a one-year extended warranty. Additional offers include a 70 per cent discount on V-Shield protection plans and the option to purchase the vivo TWS 3e earbuds at ₹ 1,499 as part of a bundle deal. The smartphone launches in July 2025 have been unusually more with some power-hitters like the Nothing Phone 3, the Samsung Z Fold 7 and the Vivo X200 FE among others making their way to the market. However, August 2025 is not likely to stay behind in the race and make up for a strong precursor before the Techtember period kicks in with the iPhone 17 series launch. This month's lineup includes the new Google Pixel 10 series, Vivo has got a few options coming out, and the likes of Oppo and Redmi also want your attention. Big Smartphone Launches In August 2025 Google Pixel 10 Series Google Pixel 10 series launch event date has been confirmed by the company. The new Pixel 10 lineup is likely to include four models once again, including a new foldable, along with a new Pixel Watch version and maybe some new Pixel Buds too. Xiaomi is bringing a new Redmi budget phone to the Indian market called the Redmi 15. The new Redmi 15 model promises some exciting features, including the use of silicon carbon battery tech to pack a bigger unit inside the device. The new Redmi 15 launch in India is tipped for around August 19. The brand is also using a Snapdragon chipset for the new Redmi phone and giving it sleek dimensions even for a device carrying a higher capacity of battery. Redmi 15 will also get features that are claimed to be segment-first and a dual rear camera setup. Oppo K13 Turbo Oppo is bringing its new K-series phone with the Turbo edition to the Indian market for the first time this month. We expect to see the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro models introduced mid-August. These new phones are likely to sport an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and support for 1.5K resolution. The regular K13 Turbo could use the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the Turbo Pro could get the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The Oppo K13 Turbo price in India could start around Rs 27,000 and go further up to Rs 40,000 in the market. The Infinix GT series could get a new gaming model in the market with the launch of GT 30 5G+ being teased. The new device will come with GT shoulder triggers and feature LED lighting that can be customised. It will offer 90 fps support for games like BGMI and hopefully be powered by a reliable MediaTek Dimensity chipset to aid its gaming cause. The company has not shared more details about the GT 30 5G+ launch or its specs, but expect the new GT phone to start below Rs 20,000 when it is announced soon. Apple and Vivo lead India's smartphone market in Q2
Apple remained one of the top players in India's smartphone market, increasing its value share to 23 percent during the April–June 2025 period, according to Counterpoint Research's Monthly India Smartphone Tracker. This marks a six percent jump from Q2 2024, highlighting Apple's growing presence in the premium segment in the country. The US tech giant solidified its position through strong sales of the iPhone 16 series, aggressive trade-in programs and attractive EMI offers. Samsung also held a 23 percent market share by value, though this represented a slight one percent decline compared to Q2 2024. Meanwhile, Chinese brand Vivo maintained a steady 15 percent share, while Oppo dropped to 10 percent, down by one percent. Realme saw a decline to six percent in volume share (down two percent) and four percent in value share (also down two percent). In terms of volume (units shipped), Vivo emerged as the market leader with a 20 percent share, up three percent YoY. Samsung followed with 16 percent (down one percent), and Oppo ranked third with 13 percent, marking a two percent rise. Realme and Xiaomi held 10 percent and eight percent of the volume share, respectively.
