Celebrity numerologist Swetta Jumaani recently claimed that Shah Rukh Khan sought her assistance when his cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) faced constant defeats year after year in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Swetta claimed that she had suggested Shah Rukh change the colour of KKR's uniform and, since then, the team has gone on to win three IPL tournaments. Speaking on the YouTube channel Hindi Rush, Swetta admitted that Shah Rukh does seek numerology advice from her regarding his IPL team. She said, 'Shah Rukh Khan is our client for KKR. We changed the uniform of KKR, we told them what colour combinations to take. It is because of that that they won three IPL trophies. I had read him talking about how he would cry in the toilet over KKR losing matches in IPL. Then we had suggested them to change their uniform from black and gold to purple and gold, now they have got three cups.' However, the IPL hasn't entirely been a positive experience for Shah Rukh, especially to begin with. 'He wasn't devastated because we lost, but because of the way the city he had adopted, and been a part of for 20 years, the way they booed him,' he said. The first match of the Indian Premier League was held in 2008, but it wasn't until 2012 that KKR won its first title. The team clinched its second win in 2014, and their third title victory was in 2024.
