Maddam Sir actress Gulki Joshi recalls horrifying experience after presenting award to MS Dhoni: 'Mein molest…'

India.com29-04-2025
Tv actress Gulki Joshi, who was seen in Maddam Sir as Haseena Malik, has recently been making headlines for sharing her horrifying experience when she started her career. Joshi revealed she was nearly molested when she went to present an award to cricket star Mahendra Singh Dhoni. While giving a quote to Filmmymantra, the actress shared how her visit to Ranchi became traumatic. 'This happened a long time ago. I had gone to Ranchi for the IPL. I had to present an award to Mr Dhoni. At that time, my show Nadaan Parinde (2014) was running successfully, and because of the show's popularity, I was invited to attend the event,' Gulki told the portal.
Joshi felt she could be molested by the crowd. 'As soon as I stepped outside, I was completely mobbed by a crowd. Mobbed to the level of being scared. It wasn't just excitement – it became physically overwhelming to the point where I genuinely felt threatened. Amid the pushing, shoving, and chaos, the horrifying thought crossed my mind that I could be molested right there in the crowd. Thankfully, security personnel intervened at the right moment. Just as things were spiralling out of control, the security team arrived and somehow managed to pull me out of the mob. They whisked me away to safety. But the fear lingered. It shook me. That was the only time I've ever truly been afraid of the crowd, of the people', the actress continued. Gulki Joshi on meeting MS Dhoni
Looking back on the meeting with the star cricketer Dhoni, she shared, 'When I met Mr Dhoni, he was everything you'd hope a hero to be, humble, warm, and grounded. Even though he must have been exhausted after the match, he patiently met every fan, smiled, took pictures, and made everyone feel special. In that moment, I realised what true talent is. No arrogance, no drama, just pure, unfiltered humility. It stayed with me. It reminded me that real talent shines the brightest when it's combined with real humility'. View this post on Instagram

JaNa and Kenny breakup drama explodes after Love Island USA Season 6 stars expose his racist behaviour: 'I don't like black women'

Love Island USA Season 6 couple JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez are officially done. Days after JaNa unfollowed Kenny, both shared separate statements confirming what fans had already begun to suspect. Kenny's message read like a bland PR draft, while JaNa's was far more pointed, in which she hinted that the real reason behind their split is even worse than any fan theory she's come across. Though she reassured followers that she's a child of God and will be okay, fans are still asking how Kenny managed to mess this up so badly. A statement from JaNa's best friend, Charmane, and a tip sent to Deuxmoi suggest the breakup may have stemmed from Kenny's allegedly racist behaviour. Scroll ahead to find out more. Did JaNa's best friend expose Kenny's racist behaviour? On July 30, 2025, just hours after JaNa confirmed her split from Kenny, Charmane Smith took to Instagram to share a bold message that quickly caught attention before being deleted. In her now-removed post, she urged women to keep a close eye on their partners, writing, 'Never spare a man… dog them out, babygirl.' She encouraged women to check their man's phones and search for specific red-flag phrases, including "I don't like Black women, and I thought I would get more money from this. I'm faking this relationship. Going on the show would be for clout. can't wait to be done with this so I can f**k a lot of bi**hes." While the post could've been brushed off as general advice, what followed made it clear Charmane was calling out someone specific. She added that the women she's warning would thank her later and made it known she doesn't play when it comes to her best friend, JaNa Craig. Since then, Charmane has not only deleted the post but also made her Instagram account private, sparking even more speculation that her words were aimed directly at JaNa's ex, Kenny Rodriguez. Deuxmoi tip claims Kenny called JaNa racist names in texts Meanwhile, a Deuxmoi source also confirmed the racism allegations, revealing, "Allegedly the tea on the breakup is that she found texts on Kenny's phone about his plan to stay with her for business/clout and texts with friends calling her racist names, which aligns with both Leah and Serena's statements calling him a clout chaser and racist. Leah Ketab and Serena Page also double down on racism allegations Love Island USA Season 6 co-contestants are also hinting that racism was at the core of JaNa and Kenny's split. One contestant reposted JaNa's Instagram Story where she called out Kenny's breakup statement, writing, 'Kenny Rodriguez, put a sock in it, ChatGPT headass. Tell the truth for once! Racist, clout/money hungry, and a scammer since day one. Trying to make it seem like something it's not. Don't worry, our girl Nay is blessed and highly favoured.' Love Island's Leah Kateb calls out Kenny Rodriguez while backing up co-star JaNa amid their breakup:'Put a sock in it ChatGPT headass. Tell the truth for once! Racist, clout/money hungry and a scammer since DAY 1!!!! Tryna make it seem like it's something it's not.' Meanwhile, Serena Page also chimed in under a breakup-related post, bluntly calling Kenny 'a narcissist and a racist.' Yall serena is active too 3/3 ppg is dragging her ass calling him racist oh CANCEL HIM NOW#LoveIslandUSA Kenny and JaNa were one of the more low-key couples in the Love Island USA Season 6 villa, rarely caught up in drama and often seen vibing in their own world. They formed a quick connection early on and stuck together through most of the season, gaining fans for their calm energy and loyalty. They were crowned as the second runner-up in the show, and many thought they'd go the distance, even outside the villa.

‘Told Shah Rukh Khan to change KKR jersey colours, now they have 3 IPL trophies': Numerologist says SRK would earlier ‘cry in bathroom' over team losing matches

Celebrity numerologist Swetta Jumaani recently claimed that Shah Rukh Khan sought her assistance when his cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) faced constant defeats year after year in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Swetta claimed that she had suggested Shah Rukh change the colour of KKR's uniform and, since then, the team has gone on to win three IPL tournaments. Speaking on the YouTube channel Hindi Rush, Swetta admitted that Shah Rukh does seek numerology advice from her regarding his IPL team. She said, 'Shah Rukh Khan is our client for KKR. We changed the uniform of KKR, we told them what colour combinations to take. It is because of that that they won three IPL trophies. I had read him talking about how he would cry in the toilet over KKR losing matches in IPL. Then we had suggested them to change their uniform from black and gold to purple and gold, now they have got three cups.' However, the IPL hasn't entirely been a positive experience for Shah Rukh, especially to begin with. In a 2014 documentary titled Living with KKR, Shah Rukh spoke about how he was devastated to see the crowd at a Mumbai stadium boo him after his team lost — the same crowd that had always cheered him on as a movie star. He said, 'I have never wanted to be a part of IPL for personal success. As a matter of fact, I think, maybe, it lends to negatives in my career. I had never been booed in a stadium. I can walk into a crowd of a lakh people, sling a guitar around my neck and people would cheer me on. Sometimes, I go to stadiums here where I am booed and I think is this the same country where I am a big movie star?' Joy Bhattacharjya, who was a Team Director at KKR during that time, spoke about how KKR losing a match against MI (Mumbai Indians) in 2008 at Wankhede Stadium affected Shah Rukh after he was booed by the crowd. 'He wasn't devastated because we lost, but because of the way the city he had adopted, and been a part of for 20 years, the way they booed him,' he said. The first match of the Indian Premier League was held in 2008, but it wasn't until 2012 that KKR won its first title. The team clinched its second win in 2014, and their third title victory was in 2024.
