The television series is already in production, with reports claiming that it will premiere on HBO and HBO Max in 2027. The makers recently announced its key cast members, leaving fans brimming with anticipation. Now, we stumbled upon some stunning BTS pictures from the ongoing shoot of the series that aims to provide a fresh and detailed adaptation of the books for the new generation.
In the few pictures that surfaced on Instagram, we got a sneak peek inside the production of the upcoming Harry Potter series. According to a Reddit user, filming was taking place at a London Zoo. It featured the cast and crew busy in the shooting process, making the fans more curious about the development.
Soon after HBO revealed that Dominic McLaughlin would be reprising the iconic role of Harry Potter, social media went into a frenzy. The 11-year-old is also set to appear in the film titled Grow as Oliver Gregory. Directed by John McPhail and produced by Double Nickel Entertainment in association with Sky Studios and Oregon Entertainment, the movie is set to hit theatres on August 16. Coming back to the little boy as Harry Potter, the internet is convinced that Dominic looks amazing in his upcoming role.

When a Reddit user posted the BTS pictures featuring the young boy, many social media users strongly reacted to it. One user said, 'I hope we finally get the sassy ass Harry we deserve." Another mentioned, 'They certainly nailed the vibe. Wish this kid (and everyone) luck." Someone said, 'At least they are giving him the right clothes, movie Harry was using tailored ones by half the 1st one." 'He is so small and cute. I think he is the perfect Harry. good luck to him on the set," said another person.
The upcoming Harry Potter series will reportedly explore elements that weren't fully captured in the film series. Besides Dominic McLaughlin, the other cast members include Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid.
