Man, 22, in hospital after shooting in downtown Windsor
Shortly before 3 a.m. on Sunday, police responded to reports of gunfire in the 400 block of Ouellette Avenue, where officers found a 22-year-old man with gunshot wounds.
Police said the victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No further information has been released on the identity of the man.
"An initial investigation revealed the victim was shot following an altercation between two groups," police said in a news release.
The Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit is asking residents and business owners in the immediate area to check their surveillance or dashcam footage between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. for possible evidence.

Kabbouchi was found guilty of first-degree murder on April 11. According to CSC, he was serving an indeterminate sentence as of April 14. Two people hurt in Waterloo stabbing

According to a post on social media, it happened near King Street and Princess Street early Sunday morning. Two people were taken to hospital with unspecified injuries. Police said they believe the stabbing was a targeted incident. They did not share any further details about a suspect, arrest or any possible charges.
