
Shin Yamada statement released as Celtic arrival imminent
The J-League side have announced the 25-year-old is on his way out to join a European club, stopping short of naming Brendan Rodgers' side.
Yamada is due to address Frontale's supporters after they take on SC Sagamihara in a cup match today.

A statement said: "We hereby announce that, as of today, July 16 (Wednesday), player Shin Yamada will be leaving the team to proceed with preparations for a transfer to an overseas club.
"Further details will be announced once they are officially confirmed.
"Additionally, after the conclusion of the Emperor's Cup 3rd Round match against SC Sagamihara today, Shin Yamada will address the supporters."

Brendan Rodgers tips Shin Yamada to add power up front after signing for Celtic
The 25-year-old arrives from Kawasaki Frontale, where he scored 32 goals in 121 appearances. Yamada recently won his first international cap and joins compatriots Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda and fellow summer signing Hyato Inamura at Celtic Park. Rodgers told Celtic's website: 'I am really pleased that we have brought Shin to the club.
