Aberdeen's Tannadice trip postponed & Dundee derbies televised
Jimmy Thelin's side were due to travel to Tannadice on Saturday, 23 August but have successfully requested it be postponed after the SPFL board agreed the rule change in April.
Previously, postponements had to be agreed by both clubs, but now a team playing in Europe can unilaterally delay a game.
The Dons will learn their European opponents on 4 August, while the new date of their match against United will be decided once the European league phase draws are confirmed.
Meanwhile, the first two Dundee derbies of the league season are to be televised. Premier Sports will show the first at Dens Park on Sunday, 31 August (kick-off 14:00 BST) then the New Year derby at Tannadice will be on Sky Sports on Saturday, 3 January (15:00 GMT).

SUMMER is off to a swinging start for a Greenock tennis club as dozens of youngsters take to the court for the first time. Fort Matilda Tennis Club's annual summer camp is well underway with up to 60 young players attending daily sessions no matter rain or shine. The six-week programme has a successful first few weeks with most morning and afternoon sessions being at capacity, the busiest year head coach Stephanie Swan says she has ever seen. Stephine says the summer club always sees a mix of abilities attend with some youngsters already keen players and other trying out a new sport, wanting to pas her love of the game down to others. 'They are learning lots of different skills, not just tennis because playing incorporated coordination, teamwork, and determination. 'We hope that the children not only come away from the camp with a love of tennis, but also having made new friends and having had a fun time.' Afternoon sessions for toddlers aged 3 to 5 have also proved popular as little ones and their families get to spend an hour on the court to play games and spend time together. Coach Eilidh McLaughlin has been helping out with the older players at the summer camp and says it is good to see them start to play matches. 'It's great to see people build up their confidence," she said. 'We have all abilities and all standards here and we try help coach everyone to do their best while having fun.' Sobowale will bring 'real quality' to St Mirren
Tunmise Sobowale's "athleticism, pace and energy" will bring "real quality" to St Mirren, says manager Stephen Robinson. The 26-year-old right wing-back has become the Paisley side's latest summer signing, joining from Swindon Town on a two-year deal. "We believe Tunmise has real quality in terms of his athleticism, his pace and his energy," said Robinson. "He's coming in to compete with Jayden [Richardson] for a place in the team. He can play at right-sided centre-half or as a real attacking right wing-back with his pace. "It's another bit of competition which we need in the squad." Tunmise began his career at his hometown club Waterford. He would move to Spain in 2018 to join Hercules before returning to Ireland with Finn Harps. In 2020 Tunmise re-joined Waterford, where he played with Buddies players Roland Idowu and Richard Taylor. He would then move to Shrewsbury Town before going on to make 44 appearances at Swindon. "I've spoken to some players who were previously here and they've had nothing but good things to say about the club," said Tunmise. "I think it is the perfect place for me to play my football right now and enjoy it. I want to now do the best I can for myself and the club."

Martin revels in 'incredible' support from Ferguson
Russell Martin says the support he has had from Sir Alex Ferguson since taking over as Rangers head coach has been "incredible". The former Manchester United manager paid his first visit to the club's Auchenhowie training centre on Friday, in the company of Rangers great John Greig. Ferguson, 83, played for two seasons at Rangers from 1967-69, while Greig, 82, spent his entire career at Ibrox before a five-year spell as manager. "Any team talk or message I give is done when those two speak about this club and what it means to them," Martin told RangersTV. "They are both really behind us and what we are doing. They are desperate for this team to do well. "They feel the same way as the fans. They want to see a team that fights and works for everything and has a way about them on the pitch that exemplifies what they believe this club to be about." Martin played under Sir Alex's son Darren Ferguson at Peterborough United who made him captain when he was just 21. "He reached out and said his dad wanted to give me a call," Martin added. "I said 'of course' and since then Sir Alex has been in tough regularly. He's been great. He's been so supportive of me personally, which is incredible. "It's the first time he's been here and it was just brilliant for everyone to see him."
