Love Island USA Season 7's Huda Mustafa shares childhood trauma on Call Her Daddy; reveals grooming by father, years of bullying
Now, in a powerful interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper, Huda opened up about painful parts of her past, from childhood abuse to eating disorders, and how the Love Island experience affected her mental health more than people knew.
Love Island USA Season 7 star Huda makes heartbreaking confessions on Call Her Daddy podcast
Despite earlier reports that Alex Cooper had chosen Amaya for the exclusive first interview, Huda's episode aired just days later, putting both Love Island USA Season 7 stars back-to-back on Call Her Daddy.
Huda hints at grooming by her father
In one of the most emotional parts of the interview, Huda hinted that she was sexually abused by her father. She didn't go into detail, but she hinted that she was groomed when she was a kid. "There were a lot of times I was alone with my dad, and there are things my family believe me about.' She also revealed that she has not spoken to her father in 8 years and that her dad has not even met her four-year-old daughter once.

On top of that, she was bullied and harassed throughout school. 'Girls would push me into lockers, lockers andod at me,' she said. One boy groped her in middle school. Others called her a terrorist and mocked her for being Muslim and Palestinian. She never told her mom or sister. 'I just kept it to myself,' she said.
She developed an eating disorder in middle school
Huda revealed that she started struggling with food and body image at a young age. 'I stopped eating for days,' she said. 'I was bulimic... I would chew food and spit it out just for the taste.'
She said she felt like she was never skinny enough. No one around her knew what she was going through.

Love Island USA appearance triggered old wounds
Huda also got honest about how her time on Love Island affected her mental health. She said she was never given a proper mental health screening before entering the villa. 'Love Island was a trigger for me,' she said. 'I shouldn't have been cast.'
She also felt misunderstood. Her sense of humour was often misread by other islanders. She admitted that some things she said might have come off wrong, but she never meant harm. 'It was just how I talk,' she said.
Huda didn't feel safe in her relationship with Chris
Huda also spoke about her relationship with Chris, the man she coupled up with on the show. She said she often felt uncomfortable with physical affection. 'Sometimes I didn't even want to kiss him,' she said.
She explained that Chris would talk about other girls even while they were together, giving them cute nicknames and making her feel like she wasn't his priority. 'He had a wandering eye,' she said.
Despite everything she went through—childhood trauma, bullying, body image issues, and a tough time in the villa—Huda is still standing. She's a mother, a survivor, and one of the most talked-about contestants of the season.

The incident occurred during the season's final performance of Giuseppe Verdi's 'Il Trovatore,' which translates to 'The Troubadour.' Why did Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow break up? Here's what Biographer Amy Odell says
Before there were Brangelina or 'consciously uncoupling' moments, there was the underrated iconic couple that ruled the 1990s - Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow . The 'IT couple,' who made it to cover pages and features, lasted for about three years until they split apart and charted the headlines – and during those sparkly years, an engagement ring was involved as well. Why did Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow break up? According to People, the author Amy Odell has written the biography of Paltrow, where the mishaps, drama, and the journey have been written down. One such question that she addressed in an interview with the media outlet: Why did Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow break up? Pitt and Paltrow met on the sets of 'Seven,' and it didn't take long to move things ahead beyond being co-stars. Over the months, they made many red carpet appearances and subtle references to the relationship during speeches. The actress got engaged in December 1996 in Argentina, and even debuted an engagement ring in March 1997, only to call it off in June. The biographer has mentioned that the couple broke up due to cultural differences between the couple, where Paltrow's elite upbringing did not connect with Pitt's midwestern roots. While the chemistry charted off the roots, the 'Iron Man' actress believed that Pitt lacks refinement compared to what she's accustomed to.
