In a candid conversation with the ETimes, Arjun Bijlani revealed that while he doesn't celebrate Friendship Day, he cherishes friendship daily.
'My wife, Neha, is my forever best friend. She has been my biggest support system, my sounding board, and the person who understands me the most. No matter what, I can always count on her, and celebrating this day with her and my close friends makes it extra special," Arjun shared.
Friendships In Showbiz: 'Tough, But I Feel Like I Have Been Lucky'
Reflecting on his friendships in the entertainment industry, Arjun acknowledged the widely held belief that genuine friendships in showbiz are hard to come by. However, he considers himself fortunate. The Naagin actor said, 'It is often said that it's tough to make friendships in the industry because everyone is busy with their own lives and schedules. I feel like I have been really lucky."
'I think I am still friends with all the friends with whom I did my first show, and those bonds are very close to my heart. We grew together, faced struggles together, and cheered for each other. These are friendships built on trust and shared experiences, and that makes them last," he added.
Despite the glamour and busy schedule, the most treasured moments for Arjun are sitting together over a cup of coffee, sharing stories and reliving old memories.
Expressing that simplicity matters the most for him, Arjun stated, 'For me, perfect moments with friends aren't about lavish parties or exotic trips but it's about genuine connection. Sometimes, it's sitting together over a cup of coffee, reliving old memories, sharing stories, or just having long conversations on the phone when we can't meet. Even the simplest moments become special when you are with the right people."
