Machine Gun Kelly admits to skipping meals and consuming water as his diet; faces backlash from netizens: 'Cause it has probiotics, you know?'
aka MGK, the rapper who never fails to make headlines for bizarre incidents, has yet again managed to raise eyebrows after he admitted to skipping most of his meals, making water his diet.
The 35-year-old said that he holds on to fasting for most days of the week, and only eats a specific type of food when he feels lightheaded.
Here's a closer look at MGK's diet and consumption of water.
MGK explains his water diet
In a candid conversation with Hip-Hop-N-More, MGK revealed that he 'doesn't really eat.' He continued explaining that he only ate the burger during the interview because they were streaming; however, if the cameras weren't live – he would have consumed water.
When one of the boys asked whether the rapper feels lightheaded or weak, Kelly responded that he has a meal a couple of times a week.
''Cause it has probiotics, you know?'
Elaborating on the statement, the 'Bird Box' actor said he eats bone broth with kimchi and sauerkraut, along with celery juice and coconut water, a couple of times. ''Cause it has probiotics, you know?' he said, before adding, 'So, like, when you do those water fasts, the only thing that's crazy is it kills all the good bacteria in you, too, so you gotta put the pro[biotics].'
Furthermore, when one of the other boys asked how he was healthy and fit, MGK stated that he probably is sick after consuming all the coffee and tobacco products.
Comments by netizens
The internet was stunned after watching the conversation, and the rapper faced heavy backlash for his dietary concoctions. One user commented, 'Imagine smoking cigarettes while explaining how you don't want to put bad s**t into your body.' Another said, 'Today I learned MGK has an eating disorder,' while another did not hesitate to call out the rapper, 'This is one of the most unintelligent conversations I've ever heard.

Brandon Blackstock cause of death revealed: Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband dies at 48, singer ‘devastated'
Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, has died, his family and rep confirmed. He was 48. Blackstock had reportedly been battling melanoma, a serious form of skin cancer, and, according to TMZ, spent his final days in hospice care. His death comes just weeks after Kelly faced backlash for abruptly cancelling her Las Vegas residency, citing 'personal reasons' at the time without revealing the real cause. Also read: Kelly Clarkson seeks divorce from husband of nearly 7 years 'It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away,' his management company posted late at night on Instagram. Alongside a photo, they wrote, 'Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time.' Earlier, Clarkson, without revealing details, had said she cancelled her residency because the father of her children was 'ill' and she needed to focus on her family. 'While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children's father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them,' Clarkson wrote on Instagram Wednesday night. 'I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows, and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding.' Melanoma is a serious skin cancer that begins in melanocytes. These are the cells that produce melanin, the pigment that gives skin its colour. It can also develop in the eyes and often starts on skin damagecd by too much sun exposure. While the exact cause isn't fully known, ultraviolet (UV) light is a major reason behind. The risk increases for people over 40. Clarkson filed for divorce in 2020, and after a long, messy court battle, it was finalised in 2022. The marriage had already been on shaky ground, something the singer had hinted at before, but she still kept a united front for the family. After his death, a source told Page Six, 'When she found out he was sick, she stayed protective of him for the kids' sake. Kelly has always kept it classy. Earlier this year, it became clear Brandon wasn't doing well. She's been devastated for the kids.' Kelly was granted primary custody, but was still ordered to pay $115,000 a month in spousal support until January 2024, along with a hefty one-time settlement. Brandon Blackstock's family business managed big country stars like Blake Shelton and Carly Pearce. Narvel was married to Reba McEntire for 26 years. Kelly Clarkson first met Blackstock back in 2006 at the Academy of Country Music Awards. They met again in 2012 at the Super Bowl, where Kelly sang the national anthem. A year later, they got married. Though their marriage faced a lot of ups and downs, Blackstock's illness was kept so private that most people even some who worked with Kelly, didn't know what was going on

'More than any American Culture': Martina Navratilova once shared how Chris Evert's Catholic upbringing shaped her tennis image
Martina Navratilova said something that made people look again at . On March 28, 2018, on the 'Conversations with Tyler' podcast, Navratilova said Chris Evert came from a strict Catholic home and often wanted to please her parents. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now She said this during an interview that many people replayed online. Martina said this family life helped shape how Evert acted in public and on court. The comment added a new angle to the long rivalry between the two stars and surprised many fans who remembered Evert as the perfect all-American player. Martina Navratilova on Chris Evert's upbringing and public image In her 1985 book 'Being Myself,' Martina wrote about how fans and the press treated female players. She wrote that American crowds liked quiet, neat players and often did not like women who spoke up or showed anger. Martina Navratilova said a player like Chris Evert was accepted because she did not 'make waves,' while outspoken women were often criticized. This links old gender ideas to how the media and fans saw women in tennis in the 1970s and 1980s. Chris Evert was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 1954 to Jimmy and Colette Evert. She grew up in a devout Catholic home, went to St. Thomas Aquinas High School, and learned tennis from her father, who coached her. "I think Chris was just conforming, not because of any preconceived ideas, but she came from a good Catholic family, and she wanted to please her parents. So it was more that than, I think, any American culture. It was actually more cultural within the family how you grew up," she said. Martina Navratilova suggested that Evert's family rules made her cautious in public because she wanted to make her parents proud. These facts help explain why Evert often appeared calm at matches and in interviews. She became an American citizen in 1981. She said that under communism women were encouraged to work and be athletes, so she did not face the same home limits that Evert had. Martina Navratilova also admitted she sometimes wanted the same warm praise Evert received from fans. Their style differences made their matches more drawn and later grew into a deep friendship. Their matches were watched by fans around the world and made tennis grow.
