Classy Thomas Frank opens his first Tottenham press conference by paying a touching tribute to Diogo Jota and Andre Silva
Jota and his brother Andre Silva, 25, were killed following the accident, which occurred in northern Spain on July 3.
Now, in his first Spurs press conference since joining the club from Premier League rivals Brentford, Frank has paid tribute to the pair.
The Danish manager was announced as the Lilywhites' manager last month after they decided to sack Ange Postecoglou - despite the Australian winning them a first trophy in 17 years as he guided to victory over Manchester United in the Europa League final.
Frank was speaking ahead of his side's first pre-season friendly, which sees them play Reading on Saturday afternoon.
He said: 'On behalf of everyone at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, our condolences go to the family and the loved ones of Diogo Jota and Andre Silva and everyone at Liverpool Football Club.'
The Portuguese international, who was part of Liverpool 's Premier League-winning side last season, made 131 appearances for Wolves and scored 44 goals during a three-year spell at the club after initially joining on loan from FC Porto in 2017.
He then moved to Anfield in a £41million transfer in the summer of 2020 after impressing as part of the side that secured European football under Nuno Espirito Santo.
On Thursday, his former club Wolves announced that he would be posthumously inducted into the club's Hall of Fame following his death.
The West Midlands side confirmed the news via the release of an official club statement, which read: 'Diogo Jota has been inducted into the Wolves Hall of Fame, in a tribute that honours both his remarkable achievements for the club and the deep impact his passing has had on the footballing world.
'The Hall of Fame, which is run independently by a committee chaired by Wolves legend John Richards, has moved swiftly to make this rare and heartfelt decision, following the tragic and untimely death of Diogo and his younger brother Andre.

'There is such a feeling of sadness and disbelief around this awful tragedy that we wanted to make this tribute of our own as soon as we could.
'Like everyone else, we've been stunned by events, and we remember what a wonderful player Diogo was for Wolves during that unforgettable promotion season under Nuno and our early years back in the Premier League.
'His record of 44 goals at Wolves, and then 65 at Liverpool as a Premier League title winner, speaks volumes. So many fans across the game – especially in Portugal after he helped them win the Nations League this summer – are feeling his loss deeply. We saw no reason to delay this decision.
'We hope it will bring a little comfort to those who were close to Diogo and Andre, and we trust Wolves supporters will understand that this gesture is made with real love and admiration, and also fully justified.'

OLEKSANDR USYK secured his third undisputed world title with a fifth round knockout against Daniel Dubois - and the punch stats show exactly why the Ukrainian is one of the best around. Usyk, 38, needed nine rounds to beat Dubois when the pair first fought in 2023, but this second bout saw him get the job done within five thanks to a spectacular combination that brought the bout to an end. 4 4 4 Dubois certainly had his moments under the Wembley arch, but Usyk was always the dominant force against his Brit opponent. And the punch stats from the high-profile battle show exactly that, with Usyk impressing with an efficient outing. Across the five rounds of slugging, Dubois attempted 179 punches - some 26 more than Usyk. But despite throwing his hands far more than Usyk, Dubois failed to land anywhere near the number of blows as the champ. Of his 179 attempted hit, Dubois only made contact with Usyk 35 times. Germany through to Women's Euro semis after shootout win over France
July 19 (Reuters) - Ann-Katrin Berger pulled off a stunning final save as Germany beat France 6-5 in a penalty shootout to set up a Euro 2025 semi-final showdown with world champions Spain after a bruising encounter that ended 1-1 after extra time on Saturday. The Germans pulled off a stunning comeback from a goal down and a straight red card for defender Kathrin Hendrich after 13 minutes, battling their way back into the game and eventually getting the better of their opponents in a thrilling shootout. Hendrich was sent off after a VAR review established that she had pulled the hair of Griege Mbock Bathy in the box, and Grace Geyoro's subsequent penalty had the power to get over the line despite Berger getting a strong hand to it. On the ropes and struggling, the Germans suddenly levelled, Sjoeke Nuesken catching the defence napping by darting towards Klara Buehl's near-post corner and flashing a header into the net in the 25th minute. With the well-organised Germans defending doggedly, France had two goals ruled out for offside and Nuesken had a second-half penalty saved, and neither side managed to score in extra time. The game went to penalties, and Berger got the shootout off to a great start for the Germans by saving from Amel Majri, but they were brought back to level pegging when Sara Daebrtiz struck her spot kick off the crossbar and over the goal. Berger then fired home from the spot herself before diving to her left to deny Alice Sombath, sending the Germans through to the last four. They will face Spain on Wednesday, a day after England face Italy in the other semi-final.
