Wynne Evans has shared a full apology video from Strictly Come Dancing which he claims the BBC ordered him to cut short.
The Welsh opera singer, 53, was fired from the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour earlier this year, and recently dropped from his BBC Radio Wales rolling contract after a string of controversies.
This week, he insisted during an interview with This Morning that an apology he and Katya Jones shared during last year's Strictly series was originally meant to be longer.
The singer and his professional dance partner sparked controversy when she appeared to move his hand from her waist, which he said was 'just a body language experiment that was picked up on'.
He added on This Morning: 'Katya said to me, 'Put your hand on my waist, I'll move it back, we'll see if anybody picks it up [on social media],' and boy did they pick it up.'

The pair shared a brief apology video at the time, but he has now shared a different version which is 50 seconds long instead of the 10 second clip that got published.
'Hello everyone. We felt the need to clarify something,' Katya said at the start of the longer backstage video. 'We find it quite fascinating how people take time to look into in such detail every gesture, every look.'
Wynne added: 'So we thought we'll mess around. And we said, 'Oh I'll put my hand on your waist, you pretend to move it away and let's see who notices it.'
'And now everybody thinks I'm a weirdo. But really I promise you I'm not. And we're doing this high ten thing as well where she blanks me from a high ten.'
The pair insisted it was 'all sort of planned just to see if anybody notices', while Katya said they wanted to 'clarify that it's all just messing around'.
'He's not a creep,' she added. 'But he's a brilliant dancer.'
Wynne captioned the newly shared clip: 'The video that was too long for @bbcstrictly @bbccymruwales I think this tells it as it was.'
However, the BBC has insisted 'all parties agreed' that the shorter version was the best way forward.
A spokesperson told The Sun: 'For the avoidance of doubt, the video in question was filmed twice and all parties agreed at the time that the second more concise version would be better suited for social media.'
On This Morning, Wynne admitted he can 'totally understand' how people were confused and 'upset' by the stunt.

He said: 'I don't want to sit here today, coming across as a victim because I'm not. I totally understand why people were upset by that and I get it.'
However, he argued that the decision to only share a 10-second apology was still 'the wrong decision'.
Earlier this year, Wynne was sensationally dumped from the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour over comments he made involving host Janette Manrara.
The 'unacceptable' joke referenced having a threesome with the dancer, 41.
Soon after he apologised, saying he was 'deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate action caused' and would take a break from the public eye for 'self-reflection' and to 'prioritise my wellbeing'. More Trending
And the BBC later decided not to renew his one-year rolling BBC Radio contract following a four-month investigation.
He confirmed in an Instagram statement: 'It breaks my heart to say the BBC has decided not to renew my contract, so I won't be returning to my radio show. I'm gutted.
'That show wasn't just work — it was home. It was us. We laughed, we cried, we sang like nobody was listening. And somehow, through the airwaves, we became a family.'

Noel Gallagher reveals his favourite thing about being back in Oasis with Liam

Noel Gallagher has reflected on Oasis' long-awaited reunion tour, admitting that he's been reminded of one of his favourite things about his brother, Liam Gallagher. Noel, 58, and younger brother Liam, 52, hadn't performed together since their 2009 split, meaning the world was, quite literally, sent into a frenzy last August when they confirmed the guns had 'fallen silent'. After a lengthy wait, the siblings kicked off their string of sold-out reunion shows at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, with Noel Gallagher reduced to 'tears' by the iconic moment. They have since performed in Manchester before making their way to the capital, stunning fans with a touching tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at one of their Wembley shows. The band wrapped up the opening UK and Ireland leg of their comeback tour with a third sold-out night at Dublin's Croke Park on Sunday (August 17), before they head across the Atlantic for nine shows across the US, Canada and Mexico. Now, speaking on Talksport, Noel opened up about how much he's enjoying the experience so far. 'It's great just to be back with Bonehead and Liam, and just be doing it again,' he said. 'I guess when it's all set and done, I'll sit and reflect on it, but it's great being back in a band with Liam. I'd forgotten how funny he was.' Noel went on to praise his younger brother's vocals, joking at first that they were the work of 'AI' before clarifying: 'Liam's smashing it, I'm proud of him. Having been fronting a band for 16 years, I know how hard that is. I couldn't do the stadium thing like he does it, it's not in my nature, but I've got to say, good for you, mate. It's been amazing.' The guitarist also admitted he's been surprised by the reaction from fans. 'Yeah, completely blown away. Everyone is. It's difficult to put it into words actually. Every night is the crowd's first night, do you know what I mean? So every night's got that same energy to it. But it's been truly amazing. I'm not usually short for words, but I can't really articulate it.' Recalling his nerves before Oasis' first reunion show in Cardiff last month, Noel revealed he wasn't prepared for the sheer scale of the show, joking that he wanted to go back to the dressing room after five minutes and that his 'legs turned to jelly.' More Trending Looking ahead, he singled out the Estadio Mas Monumental in Buenos Aires as one of the shows he's most excited about. 'The Argentinians are without doubt in the top five places for us to play in the world,' he said. Since Oasis' split, Liam and Noel often dismissed the idea of getting back together, but rumours began to swirl in 2024 that relations had thawed. Their official comeback was confirmed that August, with tickets for the tour selling out instantly. One particularly emotional moment of the Dublin run saw the Gallagher brothers dedicate Stand By Me to their mother Peggy, who was in attendance. Oasis now move on to North America, where demand for their first shows in 16 years is just as intense as it has been in the UK. Got a story? Paddy McGuinness fumes 'why is everyone out to shaft me?' in scathing video update

Former Top Gear and Take Me Out presenter Paddy McGuinness has shared a furious update about his home improvements or lack thereof after being left unimpressed by a professional gardening job Paddy McGuinness has unleashed a furious rant at a group of builders he accused of botching his artificial lawn, branding them 'f***ing cowboys' after the once-pristine turf became overrun with weeds and discoloured patches. The 52-year-old presenter, who said the garden had looked great for 'a year or two,' revealed in a video that the surface is now littered with over 20 visible weeds, many sprouting along the borders between the turf and surrounding slabs. He also pointed out patchy, sun-faded areas and hollow sections around the edges, calling it simply: 'Job's gone wrong.' It comes after Paddy showed off his chiselled body while on holiday with ex wife Christine. According to Paddy, the problem started around five months ago and has since worsened, with the weeds spreading across most of the lawn. Frustrated, he said he tried contacting the original company but claimed they ignored his calls and emails. In the clip, clearly fed up, he said: 'Why's everyone out to shaft you? Can no one just offer a service and it be right?' He went on to appeal directly to his followers: 'Listen, if you've used a company who lay these kind of lawns and you're happy with it, let me know. "I don't want to put it down again if it's going to be screwed in another year or two and changing colour and weeds everywhere and dips in it and all that pony.' Ending his rant, Paddy added he wasn't looking for free work, just someone reliable: 'Please someone, I don't want it for nothing, do not want it for nothing, no tagging in, get in touch. "I'll pay you, do a fantastic job and be gone and let me know how to do the upkeep," he added. It's not been a great week for Paddy all round as his new show Paddy and Chris: Road Tripping, is said to have suffered the same fate after the BBC reportedly haven't renewed it after just one series, despite huge ratings from fans. Paddy and Chris Harris were back behind the wheel last year for a new show together - months after the latest version of Top Gear was axed in late 2023. The road trip show saw them travel around Europe on a quest to crack the code of ageing well (or not so disgracefully) as the pair searched for a cure to the 'mid-life crisis'. Though it had good viewing figures - with 3.2 million tuning it for the first episode on Sunday September 24, 2024 - it's not thought to be coming back for a second season. A BBC spokesperson confirmed the news and said in a statement to The Sun: "Whilst viewers can enjoy all episodes of Road Tripping on BBC iPlayer now, there are currently no plans for any new episodes at the moment."
