The LoveShackFancy x PINK Collaboration is Seriously Dreamy
I am a former card-carrying member of the 'I hate pink' club (emphasis on former) and as a recovering pink lover, I was intrigued when I saw the announcement that LoveShackFancy (the pretty, whimsical brand started by former Cosmo girl Rebecca Hessel Cohen) was teaming up with none other than Victoria's Secret PINK (the younger sister of VS and the brand I would've worn every single day in high school if I could've) for an iconic, lacey, frilly, very PINK collab. No big deal! I stopped by the PINK x LoveShackFancy pop-up in downtown NYC yesterday to get a first look at the collection and to do some shopping, and the line outside the door made it clear that I wasn't the only one itching to get my hands on some of the collab pieces. The queue of shoppers literally curled all the way around the entire block. And let's just say that the hype was worth it—the first piece that immediately caught my eye was an incredible varsity jacket decked out in patches and embroidery. Other standouts included a few romantic ruffled mini dresses, some PINK hats with classic LoveShackFancy florals printed all over them, and the cutest lace-trimmed loungewear you've ever seen. Oh, and because it wouldn't be PINK without it, a set of coquettish floral lace panties with little rosettes and cheeky sayings like 'truly in love with myself' and 'a little bit dramatic" embroidered on the front. I ended up leaving the store with a baby pink tennis skirt and the cutest '5 Rules of Pink' baby tee that all of the employees were sporting. What can I say? I was #influenced.
