Kim Kardashian launches face shapewear for sagging jawlines
From bum-lifting knickers to waist-cinching bodysuits, it was only a matter of time before the 44-year-old reality TV star-turned lifestyle entrepreneur offered a sculpting remedy for sagging jawlines.
That's exactly what she's done with her £52 Velcro face wrap, which this week sold out within 24 hours of its launch.
Promising strong, targeted compression for shaping and sculpting the jawline, the wrap is designed to wear overnight, every night, with added collagen in the yarn, apparently.
'Our first-ever face innovation is here,' the brand says in its marketing material. 'This must-have face wrap boasts our signature sculpting fabric and features collagen yarns for ultra-soft jaw support.'
The part-polymide, part-elastane wrap has Velcro closures at the top and nape of the neck 'to allow for easy, everyday wear'. It taps into the growing social media trend, made popular by Gen Z and Gen alpha influencers, for the 'morning shed'.

For those unfamiliar with the term, this means going to sleep with a multitude of beautifying treatments on the face, including face masks, teeth-whitening strips, pimple patches and heatless hair rollers, and 'unveiling' yourself on TikTok looking supposedly more beautiful come the morning.
But how much can a piece of polymide really help to sculpt the face?
While Skims' 'seamless sculpt' range of underwear is designed to compress curves and hold the figure 'in place', it does not provide permanent change in the body's structure. Much like old-fashioned face tapes, this face wrap 'would provide only temporary lift', explains the highly sought-after facialist Shane Cooper, who client list includes Sienna Miller, Hannah Waddingham and Sabrina Carpenter.
He explains that the sell-out demand for the face wrap comes at a time when 'Ozempic face' – the loss of volume and sagging jawlines that can occur following rapid weight loss using GLP-1 medication – is at an all-time high.
A large portion of his clients are women in their 40s who often want to fix loss of firmness around the jawline and neck without resorting to filler.
'We've definitely seen more clients coming to us with concerns around loose skin following weight loss, but this often leads to a reduction in volume, particularly in areas where fat pads once gave structure,' explains Cooper.
'When this happens quickly, the skin doesn't always have time to adjust, which can result in a looser or less defined appearance.'
While he addresses these concerns in his treatments using a combination of hi-tech technologies such as microcurrent and ultrasound, he's sceptical about whether daily wear of a face wrap can really sculpt the face in the long-term.
Whether or not it works, it's a smart move by Kardashian.
She hit headlines in March this year when it was announced that her underperforming beauty range Skkn by Kim had cut ties with Coty, which sold its minority stake in the business back to Skims. It certainly makes more sense for her beauty launches to exist under the hugely successful Skims empire.
This is probably the first of many 'shapewear' remedies for the face from Skims: it would be no surprise if Kardashian cashed in on the demand for snatched cheekbones with a line of peptide-packed lifting skincare, cheekbone-sculpting tools and even contouring make-up from the queen of contour herself.
Any beauty product, really, to give the ultimate illusion of lift – available to purchase along with some bum-sculpting briefs, of course.

Roger Daltrey accuses Zak Starkey of ‘character assassination'
Roger Daltrey, the frontman of The Who, says that comments made by axed drummer Zak Starkey after leaving the band were "incredibly upsetting" and a "character assassination". Starkey, the son of Ringo Starr, was dismissed from the band twice, with conflicting accounts regarding the reasons for his departure, including a disputed onstage error. Daltrey said that the dispute stemmed from issues with electronic drum sound affecting his in-ear monitors, not a direct criticism of Starkey's playing. Daltrey said that he and Pete Townshend are the core of The Who, viewing other members as "session players". Starkey, who was replaced by Scott Devours, has said that The Who is unpredictable and has an "addiction to friction".

Bombshell book claims Jeffrey Epstein called Prince Andrew a serial sex addict and said he was kinkier than himself
PRINCE Andrew has been branded a 'serial sex addict' in a bombshell new book — with Jeffrey Epstein reportedly claiming the Duke of York was even kinkier than him. The shocking allegations appear in 'Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York', which the disgraced royal reportedly tried to block. 9 9 According to the Daily Mail, late paedophile financier Epstein is quoted in the book as saying: 'We are both serial sex addicts. 'From the reports I've got back from the women we've shared, he's the most perverted animal in the bedroom. 'He likes to engage in stuff that's even kinky to me – and I'm the king of kink!' The explosive revelations come alongside fresh allegations about Andrew's conduct on royal tours. A Reuters correspondent reported that, during the King of Thailand's diamond jubilee celebrations in 2006, more than 40 women were taken to Andrew's Bangkok hotel room. 'Often, as soon as one left, another would arrive,' the reporter said. Hotel staff were reportedly stunned that 'more than 10 a day' were going to the Duke's suite. The exposé portrays the 64-year-old royal as a man consumed by sex, with claims from an investigative journalist that he has bedded over a thousand women, ranging from porn stars and actresses to palace staff and bartenders. Prince Andrew has never been more toxic - the public hate him and NONE of the royals back him either One 20-year-old model, who says she twice slept with Andrew before being whisked to Mustique, recalled: 'He wanted me to engage in kinky sexual activity. 'He had no boundaries. He told me he had an open marriage arrangement with his wife. 'After returning to London, I never heard from him again. I felt like he used me for a few days, so he could live his wildest fantasies.' Masseuse Emma Gruenbaum, who worked on him at Royal Lodge, alleged Andrew was a 'constant sex pest,' insisting on being naked for massages and making crude remarks. 'That's just not normal behaviour for a professional sports therapy session," she said. The book also recounts disturbing tales from palace insiders. One former staff member claimed: 'When I started, I was warned to stay away from him. 'He would sometimes enter the staff quarters. 'It seemed everyone was aware of his behaviour, but little was done about it.' From his 'Randy Andy' schoolboy reputation to being accused of bullying aides and humiliating women at society events, Andrew is painted as both sex-obsessed and arrogant. Aides alleged he once had an employee moved because of a mole on his face, while another was sidelined for wearing a nylon tie. 9 9 9 9 The York family reportedly tried to block the book, warning contacts not to cooperate and enlisting the Foreign Office to discourage diplomats from speaking. Despite legal threats, the exposé has gone to print — leaving Andrew once again at the centre of a storm of sleaze and scandal. It comes as a top lawyer warned that Andrew may not be in the clear despite the FBI dropping its probe into his ties with Jeffrey Epstein. Spencer Kuvin, who has represented five of Epstein's alleged victims, said the Duke of York, 65, still has reason to worry after six years of avoiding travel abroad for fear of arrest. 'I still don't think Andrew can sleep soundly,' Mr Kuvin said. 'With the quick change of administration or new leadership at the Department of Justice, the investigation could be reopened or continued. 'Andrew needs to visit the US to answer questions from the FBI. Avoiding this merely makes people think he's guilty.' Andrew has always denied claims by Virginia Giuffre that he abused her when she was 17, insisting he never saw or suspected Epstein's crimes. Giuffre died in Australia in April at the age of 41. There is no statute of limitations for federal sex crimes in the US, meaning allegations could be revived at any time. Andrew has not set foot in America since meeting Epstein in New York in 2010. 9
