Molly-Mae issues AI warning to followers after fake perfume endorsement

Independent22-07-2025
Molly-Mae Hague has issued a warning to her followers not to buy a perfume supposedly endorsed by her, saying the clip was generated by artificial intelligence (AI).
The Love Island star explained in her latest vlog on Sunday (20 July) that a fan had approached her and told her they had bought a perfume she loved for a friend's birthday.
'There's this clip going round on TikTok, which they do with loads of celebrities, where it's me, saying 'oh I love this perfume' in my voice, but it's AI,' the 26-year-old added.

Inside the mad and dangerous world of Superbikes where 'gladiator' riders dice with death

It's been a weekend of unremitting heat at the UK round of the Superbike World Championship — motorsport which makes F1 look like a sedentary Sunday afternoon drive — and, at the end, the outstanding racer tells me about life and death. Toprak Razgatlioglu is motorcycle racing's most compelling character since Valentino Rossi — riding on the edge just like the Italian, and Barry Sheene decades before him.

Pia Whitesell stuns in $10K outfit during European holiday with powerbroker husband Patrick

Pia Whitesell is turning heads in Greece - and her designer wardrobe is doing much of the talking. The former Home and Away star, 41, showcased her lavish lifestyle during a romantic European getaway with husband Patrick Whitesell this week, donning a jaw-dropping $10,000 ensemble aboard a luxury yacht. Taking to Instagram on Friday, the model and actress stunned in a $2,945 Miu Miu Cotton And Suede Bandana Top in Brown, paired with a matching $5,000 Cotton And Suede Miniskirt from the Italian fashion house. She completed the look with designer sunglasses and understated jewellery - including a gold cross necklace - as she posed against a backdrop of crystal-clear waters and dramatic cliffs. Pia captioned the photo simply, writing, 'Oh, Greece'. Another image showed her enjoying a drink on deck in the golden afternoon light, while a third snap featured a tray of cocktails with the cheeky caption: 'Which one is mine?' It's just the latest insight into Pia's luxury lifestyle since marrying her multimillionaire Hollywood husband, Patrick, 60 - the executive chairman of Endeavor, one of the world's most powerful talent agencies. Earlier this week, the actress gave fans a glimpse of her privileged life. Pia showed off her astounding collection of designer goods posing inside her gigantic walk-in closet. Featured in the photo was Pia's impressive collection of shoes, which filled six built-in shelves in her closet. Measuring several metres wide, the unit boasted three shelves of high heels in a dazzling array of styles for all occasions. Also spied inside Pia's walk-in was the dark-haired beauty's mammoth collection of designer handbags. Stored in ten separate cubicles inside a dedicated vertical built-in unit occupying an entire corner of the closet, Pia's collection included multiple Chanel handbags. Keen-eyed fashion lovers can also spy a Hermès box and what looks like a Birkin. Prominently featured in one storage space was a Céline Small Cabas Thais bag which can set back fashion enthusiasts as much as $3,330. Pia looked at ease in the image, flaunting her famously trim abs in a tiny white tee and matching designer jeans. It comes after Pia announced her first paid TV and modelling gig in seven years last month. Posting to Instagram, she revealed she is the face of beauty giant Olay's 'Hello Better Me' campaign in Australia and New Zealand. Pia has not worked since she first began seeing her now-husband, Hollywood powerbroker Patrick Whitesell, in 2019. Her last acting role was in the 2019 live-action movie Dora and the Lost City of Gold. Pia accepted Patrick's proposal in late 2020 after he presented her with a spectacular diamond ring. The solitaire oval diamond sparkler is estimated to be worth between AUD$1.10million and AUD$1.9million. The couple tied the knot in May 2021.
