Taiwanese model and actress Lin Chi-Ling (林志玲) will surely make waves online wherever she goes. With her statuesque frame and beautiful visuals, it's no surprise that whatever she wears turns into a headline-worthy outfit. Recently, the model spent her days at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2025.
Lin Chi-Ling had a packed schedule during her week at the event. She was present at the premiere of Wes Anderson's 'The Phoenician Scheme', the Kering Women in Motion Gala, the Taiwan Cinema Night and the China Film Night event. Of course, the 50-year-old's outfits at each appearance garnered netizens' attention. Here's a look at what she wore at Cannes:
Nicole + Felicia Couture
The actress brought graceful power to the prestigious event in a sculpted two-piece fishtail gown by Nicole + Felicia Couture. The brilliant pearl necklace by Qeelin Jewellery and shoes from Jimmy Choo elevated the look from simple to sophisticated.
Valentino
At the Taiwan Cinema Night event, Lin Chi-Ling wore an embellished champagne gown from Maison Valentino. The large bow on her waist added a touch of youthfulness, while embellishments made it look like Lin Shi-Ling was sparkling in the night.
She also wore another Maison Valentino gown later that week. The golden number also featured a large bow, as well as a tiered-ruffle skirt with a large slit to show off her long legs. Diamond accessories from Chopard completed the look.
Ralph Lauren
During her talk at the Asian Women Cinema Forum, the star kept it simple with an off-white number from Ralph Lauren. While she opted to skip the accessories with this look, the gown complemented her skin and made her look radiant.
Danielle Frankel
Another white ensemble that Lin Chi-ling wore during the event was from bridal designer Danielle Frankel. The off-the-shoulder element and the flowy sleeves helped create a soft and tender vibe.
La Koradior
One look that had everyone talking was the black La Koradior Haute Couture piece that Lin Chi-Ling wore to the Kering Women In Motion Gala. The piece looked unassuming from the front, but the highlight was the drop diamond necklace by Qeelin Jewellery at the back.
Tom Ford
The model's Tom Ford look at the China Film Night, had netizens calling her a real-life mermaid. The blue dress, which glimmered under the sun, was paired with emerald earrings by Maison Alt. Lin Chi-Ling's wet hairstyle also seemed intentional as she posed on large rocks by the beach.

#SHOWBIZ: Malaysian actor Zhang Yaodong seen manning seafood stall in Singapore
SINGAPORE: Singapore-based Malaysian actor Zhang Yaodong was seen running a steamed seafood stall at 9007 Kopitiam, a coffee shop in the Tampines industrial area, on June 4. The Straits Times reported that the 47-year-old was observed at the cash register, taking customer orders. A user on Xiaohongshu said that the stall belongs to Zhang, and he was working that day because his employee had resigned. The user noted the former Mediacorp artiste's politeness, affirming Zhang in her post by saying there is "nothing better than correcting one's behaviour after making a mistake." The bachelor's public image suffered a blow in July 2024 when rumours circulated about him fathering children out of wedlock with women of various nationalities. However, in November 2024, Zhang used Instagram to mark a holiday to South Korea with his two daughters, confirming his fatherhood for the first time. In February of this year, Mediacorp's talent management agency, The Celebrity Agency, announced it was no longer representing him and that he had not participated in the filming of any new programmes. Zhang, whose parents were formerly hawkers, is reported to have previously managed a catering business and opened a roast meat stall in a food court. He also ventured into Taiwanese cuisine, selling beef noodles in his hometown of Kuala Lumpur.

(Video) Mandopop Icon Jay Chou Mobbed By Fans While Sightseeing In Japan
It can be hard to travel comfortably when you're as popular as Jay Chou (周杰伦). The Mandopop icon has been travelling around Japan recently, but unfortunately, his trip hasn't been the most peaceful. Jay and his wife, Hannah Quinlivan (昆凌), recently visited Kyoto for work. While the couple were there, they took the opportunity to do some sightseeing. Joining the pair are Jay Chou's staff members and Japanese singer-actor Tomohisa Yamashita (山下 智久), who is a good friend of the Taiwanese singer. Together, the group went around the city, visiting popular tourist spots, including local temples and shrines. Given the popularity of the Mandopop and J-pop icons, a crowd will begin to form wherever the two go. Some fans even started following the stars and mobbing them as they walked down the streets of Kyoto. Unfortunately, the mobbing got so intense that Jay's makeup artist tripped and broke his leg. The 46-year-old singer went on Instagram to share the news and urged fans to maintain a safe distance in public to avoid another accident. According to reports, the makeup artist broke two bones and had to get a cast for his leg. Thankfully, it seemed he's recovering well despite the incident and is even cracking jokes about his fall. Jay also tried to make fun of the situation, jokingly asking fans if they had a photo of his makeup artist tripping. His odd request amused fans, who noted that it highlights their close friendship. Jay also didn't seem too pressed by the fans in Kyoto because he even stopped to take photos of some of them. In some videos, the star also appeared calm despite being surrounded by people. However, the mobbing did get a little crazy, and the crowds even gathered in front of a local restaurant where Jay and Yamashita Tomohisa were dining. Police officers were even called to the scene to maintain order. Many netizens have reacted to the situation, mostly praising Jay for remaining calm amidst the chaos. However, some urged the public not to crowd the star and allow him to enjoy his trip. What are your thoughts on this? Former Taiwanese boy band F4 reportedly planning to reunite for concert in 2026
A filepic of Taiwanese pop group F4 members (from left) Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Ken Chu and Vic Chou at an event in Seoul, South Korea, March 9, 2007. Photo: Handout F4, one of the top Taiwanese boy bands alongside groups such as Energy and 5566 during the 2000s, could be making a comeback in 2026. According to an exclusive report by Taiwan's Mirror Media on June 4, the four members of the Mandopop act have finally reached an agreement and will reunite for a concert to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut. The reunion was made possible by Taiwan-based recording company B'in Music, which was behind the comeback of Energy in 2024. F4 consisted of Taiwanese stars Jerry Yan, 48; Vic Chou, 43; and Ken Chu, 46; as well as Taiwanese-American Van Ness Wu, 46. The quartet were brought together as a boy band in 2001 after acting in Taiwanese idol drama Meteor Garden (2001), which also starred the late Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu. Meteor Garden was such a phenomenon in Asia that the four men went on to record three albums and hold concert tours as F4. The group were later renamed JVKV, using the first letter of each of the members' names, due to copyright issues. The members went their separate ways in 2009 and have since performed together at Jiangsu Television's Spring Festival Gala only in 2013. After the split, Yan continued to act and occasionally took part in Chinese variety shows, while Wu is focusing on variety shows and commercial performances in China. Chu currently conducts live-stream sales, while Chou furthered his acting career, with his latest role in the upcoming drama series The World Between Us: After The Flames (2025). According to Mirror Media, B'in Music – which managed to convince Energy to reunite 15 years after their disbandment – has a list of former popular boy bands which it hopes to lobby for reunion, with F4 being top on the list. B'in Music, which includes Taiwanese bands Mayday and Accusefive in its stable of artistes, reportedly spent a long time talking to the four members, who are represented by different agencies. The task was made more difficult as the quartet were said to have split due to differences in their personalities and feelings of jealousy and unfairness between them. However, the success of Energy's reunion in 2024 proved to be a key factor in convincing them to come together again. Mirror Media said the huge marketability of F4 would be a big draw for the reunion concert and that the group may also tour Asia, in addition to focusing on China and Taiwan. – The Straits Times/Asia News Network
