EastEnders' Heather Peace shares huge update in breast cancer battle after she and her wife were both diagnosed
The 50-year-old, who plays Eve Unwin on the BBC One soap, was diagnosed with breast cancer in October last year.

But despite her health issues, she bravely continued to film for the soap.
The soap star went on to have chemotherapy as well as undergoing a left breast mastectomy and a reconstruction.
Heather took to Instagram on Thursday to update her fans on her journey, writing: "Final round of 15 radio therapy sessions just completed.
"This marked the end of long 9 months of diagnosis, surgery, chemo and radio.

"Time to piece myself back together. Thanks for all the beautiful support. #checkyourbreasts #breastcancerawareness".
Fans flooded with comments of admiration and support, with one writing: "What an amazing woman. Her sheer will and determination to keep filming whilst battling this awful disease has been unbelievable."
Another added: "What a legend, wishing her all the best in her recovery."
A third penned: "As someone going through a similar diagnosis, seeing Heather on the other side of treatment is incredibly inspiring."

Revealing why she decided to continue working, she told
The former Waterloo Road star expressed: 'We got back to Brighton at 7 o'clock, and I was on the road at 10 past five that morning, to Elstree, to start possibly the two biggest weeks that I've done on EastEnders.'
Heather explained that she had told bosses about her diagnosis and was told she didn't need to come in while she was taking in the life-changing news as well as undergoing treatment.
'I said 'I need to come in' because at this point I don't know what's going to happen,' she continued.
'And I want to finish this arc of the story. Not coming in for the next two weeks is not going to change anything, but at least let me put the full stop on a story that's been playing out for nearly two and a half years.
'If we get to the end of that and we see them get married and we see them successful, if beyond that it's a mess, I can leave and feel like I've put a full stop on something."

DESTINATION X aired a shock double exit tonight - as three axed players returned in a major show twist. The BBC programme sees a group of strangers try to figure out where they are in Europe through a series of clues in a bid to win £100,000. 4 The three players who had failed to secure a boarding pass in episode one returned Credit: BBC 4 James found himself on the losing team after a challenge on a luxury train Credit: BBC The second episode's destination was the Matterhorn, and tonight's edition saw the remaining players head off to one of the five countries that border Switzerland. They then returned to the bus and hit the road once again, failing to realise that they hadn't actually gained any ground until they found themselves back at the same train station the next day. Host Rob Brydon had a further surprise in store for them, by bringing out Ashvin, Claire and Chloe-Anne. Viewers will remember that the three players had failed to make it on to the bus in episode one, but had now returned for a second chance to join the adventure. Rob explained that the members of the losing team from the previous task would each join forces with one of the returning players and go head to head. These were James, Ben, Darren and Nick, but the winning team - Judith, Josh and Saskia - had the chance to save one of them outright, and they chose Darren. The remaining trio then picked their teams and working together, they all had to go through a box of items for a specific destination chosen by the announcer, and find pieces that had nothing to do with that location. After two rounds, James and Ashvin were the losing team, and they then had to go head-to-head for the final spot on the bus. In the end, Ashvin picked the right items, meaning James had to leave there and then. Fans stunned as THREE Destination X contestants are immediately axed in brutal opening twist The news left the rest of the team - in particular Saskia - shocked, and James was in tears as he said goodbye. But that wasn't the end of the departures, as the players still had to lock in where they thought this week's final destination was, with the person furthest away being sent packing as well. Having seen the clues, the winning team were convinced it was Munich in Germany, but had decided to try and throw the losing team off by suggesting it was Dortmund. After everyone had locked in their locations, Rob revealed the sad news that Ben had been the furthest from the destination - which was Munich - and that he would be leaving the bus immediately. "So that's why I did it again because I felt like I was given a lot better chance going in from the start and it obviously paid off." He's also in no rush to start dating again after his split from Gabby in May. "I couldn't be more single. I'm just focusing on the marathon. I'm not focusing on dating or anything like that. I'm very happy," he said.
