DHSE Kerala Plus Two Results 2025 Released: As many as 77.81% of the students who took the exam passed. The pass percentage has seen a drop compared to previous years.
DHSE Kerala +2 Results 2025: The Kerala Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) has announced the Plus Two (+2) or Class 12 results today, May 22 at 3 PM. Of the 3,70,642 students who took the exam, 2,88,394 qualified, taking the overall pass percentage to 77.81%. The pass percentage has seen a drop compared to previous years.
Last year witnessed a drop in the overall pass percentage compared to the previous years too. In 2024, class 12 students recorded a 78.69 per cent pass rate. In 2023, this number was 82.95 per cent. While in 2022, as many as 83.7 per cent passed and in 2021, the pass percentage was 87.94 per cent. In 2020, the overall pass rate stood at 83.13 per cent and in 2019, it was 84.33 per cent.
This year, science stream recorded the highest pass percentage with 83.25% of the students clearing the exam. This was followed by commerce stream at 74.21% pass rate and 69.16% of humanities stream students cleared the exam.
To pass the Kerala 12th board exam, students must get at least 35 per cent on each paper as well as in total. Students can now check their class 12 (Plus Two) results 2025 via the official websites at keralaresults.nic.in, dhsekerala.gov.in and pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in. They can also check it on DigiLocker app using their Aadhar number and exam roll number.
After checking the results online, students also need to review their mark sheets and ensure that all the information mentioned on them is correct. In case of any error in the online mark sheet, they need to check with the authorities at the earliest. Students must check their personal details, calculations, grades and marks parity, spelling, and pass/ fail status.
Students who failed in one or two subjects can retake exam, that is, they can sit for the supplementary test. They can also apply for re-evaluation of mark sheets.
