Entrance to Le Bal is free, so make your way to Tai Kwun from now to 18, where the street performance will take over the main courtyard between 6pm to 6.30pm, followed by 7.30pm to 8pm.

The exhibition invites visitors to step back in time and embark on an exhilarating journey through ancient Egypt, discovering the myths and mysteries surrounding Pharaoh Tutankhamun. But unlike your usual museum experience, this puts you right at the heart of the action with mind-bending virtual reality and incredible artefacts. The exhibition starts with a fun photo op before taking you round a walkway with giant screens telling your the history of Egypt and the boy king. Along the way there are jaw-dropping graphics before visitors are taken into a room with incredible artefacts from the great discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb. Some are replicas, showing the detail and a opulence of the treasures the ruler was buried with. Meanwhile, the real artefacts give a fascinating insight into burials thousands of years ago. There's a section dedicated to Howard Carter, the archaeologist who made the life-changing discovery. And then you're into the virtual reality section, Created in collaboration with Egyptologists and historians, the exhibition features one of Europe's most expansive immersive video mapping rooms. You are taken through Tutankhamun's story in stunning, immersive detail. Revealing the Hidden Secrets of Egyptian Pyramid Construction (1) The moment of the discovery of the tomb is described in a recorded interview of Howard Carter, the famous British archaeologist, adding an extraordinary layer of authenticity to the experience. Next up, visitors get to try a 360-degree seated virtual reality experience, journeying into the mystical Egyptian afterlife. This really is astonishing, you really feel like you are floating through unknown realms. And finally, you get to walk through a digital metaverse, exploring Howard Carter's basecamp and reliving the monumental moment of the 1922 discovery in its full glory. I've tried experiences like this before, but this one blows them all out of the water. The virtual reality sections are mind-blowing but even the simpler artefact parts are just as amazing to see. These 7 European cities have been named best in the world for nightlife
Whatever a good night out means to you – whether it's boogieing 'til dawn in a sticky-floored club or sweating out your stresses in an after-dark sauna sesh – cities across Europe each have their own individual nightlife identities, and there's something out there for all of us. But which cities are doing it best? Well, nightlife is part of the bedrock of Time Out, so we quizzed thousands of locals about what going out is like in their cities, and seven hubs across the continent made it onto our shiny new worldwide list. The first of these was Madrid, which scraped into second place behind crowning champion Las Vegas, thanks to 83 percent of locals describing the nightlife scene as either 'good' or 'amazing'. We spoke to Time Out Madrid 's restaurant and bars editor Gorka Elorrieta about the city's after-dark scene, who said: 'Big nights out happen on Gran Vía thanks to LuLa and Fitz, while Madrid's LGBTQ+ scene boasts legendary venues like Rick's, weekly drag shows at former indie temple Maravillas Club, and beautiful people packing out the nights at Marta, Cariño!, and Salvaora Brown. There's also a new kind of high-end fun in town, spearheaded by a wave of Latin American arrivals: at places like Pabblo, Rhudo and Jimmy's you'll find either dinner and a show, or restaurants where the food is just the warm-up before the party really kicks off.'
