Kamal Haasan's Thug Life to stream on Netflix after theatrical release
'Thug Life' reunites Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam nearly four decades after their collaboration on Nayakan (1987). The upcoming film features a star-studded ensemble including Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sanya Malhotra, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan, Joju George, Nassar, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Rohit Saraf, and Vaiyapuri.Jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies, 'Thug Life' is also Kamal Haasan's 234th film as a lead actor. The project was first announced in November 2022 under the working title 'Kamal Haasan 234', with the official title being revealed in November 2023. The filming took place in Chennai, Kanchipuram, Pondicherry, New Delhi, and various parts of North India. It began in January 2024 and was wrapped up later that year.
