Former TV presenter looks unrecognisable 25 years after hosting alongside Holly Willoughby

Daily Mail12-07-2025
A former TV presenter looked barely recognisable in a recent appearance - 25 years after hosting a show alongside Holly Willoughby.
Marcus O'Donovan, 42, presented kids' show S Club TV alongside Holly back in the early days of their careers.
The children programme was quite short-lived and only aired between 2000 and 2001, where they were joined by familiar faces such as Ben Barnes and Amy Garcia.
Decades later from his last TV appearance, Marcus now runs his own sparking water company named CO2 You.
According to the former star's Linkedin page, it appears he owned snack company HUSK from 2011 until 2024.
Marcus previously opened up in a candid interview about his interest and passion for food - leading him worlds away from his initial TV path.
'WORK FOR SOMEBODY IN THE INDUSTRY FIRST! I regret not getting that level of experience,' he told About Time Magazine.
'Ask around for honest feedback on your idea.
'The hardest thing in the food industry isn't making a great product or branding it well, it's getting your product to market and understanding logistics and manufacturing. There is a lot to learn.
'It can be very lonely and you may need a lot of funding.
'Reach out to me if you're just starting, I'm always happy to give someone 15 minutes on the phone.'
Elsewhere recently, Holly enjoyed the final day of Glastonbury 2025 as she rocked a bohemian-inspired look at the festival.
The mum-of-three stunned as she enjoyed the star-studded lineup, which included the legendary Sir Rod Stewart.
Holly was spotted alongside her TV executive husband Dan Baldwin as they enjoyed a child-free weekend together on Worthy Farm.
Decades later from his last TV appearance, Marcus now runs his own sparking water company named CO2 You (pictured recently)
The former This Morning touched down on the Worthy Farm site by helicopter to join more than 200,000 music fans.
But residents of neighbouring Pilton in Somerset were furious at the number of choppers ferrying A-listers over their farms, as one told the Mail at the time: 'We've never seen this many coming into the festival – it's insane.'
Setting off from London's Battersea heliport, Holly flew for 50 minutes and was at the festival by 1.30pm.
Helicopter firm Air Charter – which sells return tickets for £13,950 – reckons it saves its celebrity customers up to eight hours per journey compared with driving.
Beaming in the festival's VIP section, the former This Morning host sported a £365 pair of tan Grenson boots from her own line and a £158 blouse from Free People over a white dress and belt, with a Stetson hat.
She has previously stayed at the five-star Babington House hotel while attending the event, which is a half-hour drive from the site, and gets a taxi in each day.

Hunky Hollyoaks star 'signs up to celebrity dating app Raya as he returns to the UK to find love'

Ricky Whittle has reportedly returned to London and is reportedly looking for love as he signed up to celebrity dating app Raya. The ex-Hollyoaks star, who finished runner up on Strictly Come Dancing in 2009, moved to Los Angeles to work in Hollywood in 2011. According to The Sun, one picture showed the actor cuddling a quokka and another of him running shirtless through a street. A source said: 'It's like he's saying I'm cuddly, hot and very available. 'His profile popped up a couple of weeks ago. It says he's an actor who lives in LA but was visiting London. 'Given how good he looks, I bet he had loads of people swiping on his profile.' Ricky is best known over here for playing Calvin Valentine on Hollyoaks. After his character was killed off in 2010, Ricky relocated moved and has starred in shows including The 100 and American Gods. Despite all of his success across the pond, during his interview with MailOnline in 2023 Ricky did not completely rule out a possible return to the British soap one day. He said: 'Would I ever do a soap again? Probably not, but for fun why not, I don't care as I'm in a fortunate position, where I don't need to work. 'I haven't been in Hollyoaks for 20 years but at the end of the day you can never shy away from where you came from.' He also opened up about the influence his time on Hollyoaks had on his acting skills, saying: 'If it wasn't for Hollyoaks I wouldn't be where I am now. 'Hollyoaks is an education, you're learning 12 to 15 scripts every day and halfway through a day, new pages are coming down and it's like "learn them now" and you just get it done and don't think about'. 'My character went from being the good guy, to the bad guy to the club owner, to the policeman, to your sister's on drugs, to you'd killed someone and then he's back to life - it's like you go through a whole gambit of emotions'. 'If that's not great education for an actor- I don't know what is.' He added: 'I would never look down on soap actors because they're the ones that are putting in five days a week and I've got nothing but love for those guys and what that show did for me.' He turned his back on Hollywood in 2023, telling MailOnline he was 'done' with America and its 'crazy politics' and was planning to move away from Los Angeles. But just a couple of years later it seems Ricky may be considering a return to the big time as the hunky actor made a surprise appearance at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival earlier this year. He arrived on the red carpet in southern France looking typically dapper in a black tux ahead of his role presenting the festival's Golden Nymph Awards Ceremony alongside Shy'm, 39. The duo posed for photos together, with Ricky playfully making sure the spotlight was on the French actress as she put on a leggy display in an eye-catching black and white dress. Later in the evening the pair suffered an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction while performing a dance routine on-stage as Shy'm spilled out her outfit momentarily. Whittle was last seen on television while playing Mickey Barnes in one episode of The Rookie, a show following a police officer in Los Angeles. Prior to that the 45-year-old had enjoyed a quiet couple of years work-wise after the end of American Gods in 2021.

Chantelle Houghton shows off dramatic new look after 'liquid facelift' amid her five-stone weight loss

Chantelle Houghton has revealed her stunning transformation after undergoing an 'instant' liquid facelift. The former Celebrity Big Brother winner, 41, took to Instagram to flaunt her refreshed appearance and praised the results of the non-surgical tweakment. Chantelle wrote: 'I went to @thelondonaesthetics and had a liquid facelift and skin rejuvenation, the results are instant. 'Little by little, I'm finding my way back… not to who I was, but to who I'm becoming. @thelondonaesthetics have been a big part of that journey.' Fas took to her comment section to share their thoughts on the procedure writing: 'Wow!! That's insane' 'You'll always be beautiful chantelle.' 'You look amazing girl ❤️' 'Absolutely amazing you have such a beautiful soul and you shine so brightly never let anyone take that away from you ✨✨❤️ xxxxxxxx' 'U always look stunning' However other followers urged Chantelle to put the needle down saying: 'Age gracefully you don't need it' 'You have always been naturally pretty. In my opinion you don't need fillers etc... but it's you who has to feel confident. Good luck on you're journey Chantelle'. The star, who famously entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2006 as a non-celebrity tasked with convincing her housemates she was famous, bagged the win - and £25,000 - after becoming a fan favourite. Since then, Chantelle has largely stepped out of the limelight but has recently returned to the public eye after shedding a whopping five stone. Earlier this year, she opened up about her impressive weight loss and insisted that she has not taken the drug Ozempic. Fans had mixed thoughts on the procedure and took to the comment section of social media to raise their praise and concerns Instead, she credits 'blood, sweat, and tears' into dropping the pounds. Chantelle first embarked on her weight loss transformation after reaching 13 stone following her 2021 split from ex-fiancé Michael Strutt and was relentlessly trolled for her weight. The TV personality used the negative comments as motivation and embarked on her weight loss journey that saw her drop an impressive five stone without stepping into a gym. Chantelle committed herself to a strict diet, avoiding processed foods and focusing on healthy eating but has since been accused of relying on weight loss drug Ozempic. She told The Sun: 'There was an article online not long ago, and the comments section was full of people saying, 'Ozempic, Ozempic. But I've never taken it. If I had, I'd happily admit it – I'm an open book. 'But I worked hard to lose that weight through blood, sweat, and tears, and it really p**sed me off that people dismissed my effort. I've had to learn to have thick skin and do what's best for me, but the comments did hurt.' Chantelle said she would never take the drug but warned people if they do turn to Ozempic to make sure it is 'from a legitimate source'. She continued: 'I personally wouldn't take it – things like that scare me – but I can understand why some people do. If you're going to use it, make sure it's from a legitimate source and not something dodgy. It's your body, and you have to do what feels right for you.' Previously Chantelle also said she had cut out alcohol from her diet because of the high sugar content as she gave an insight into her lifestyle overhaul.
