Gone are the days of spending hours vacuuming the house - a robot can now do all of the work
There's nothing worse than getting to the weekend and realising there are still loads of household chores to be done. Thankfully, modern technology means that they don't all need to be done by hand anymore, and a robot vacuum cleaner can really take the edge off that ever-growing housework list.
With a robot vacuum cleaner, shoppers can come home to a spotless house, with carpets free from pet hair, crumbs, lint and other mess. Plus, investing in one of these nifty gadgets doesn't have to cost a fortune, either, as the Lefant M210P Robot Vacuum Cleaner is currently £99.95 at Amazon.
The discounted price knocks 58% off the RRP of £239.99, meaning shoppers can get their hands on a vacuum cleaner promises an efficient clean without buyers needing to lift a finger for a much lower price.
The robot vacuum has four cleaning modes to ensure every corner of the house is taken care of, and it boasts a cleaning efficiency of close to 90% and a large 500ml dust container - plenty of space to collect all manner of household detritus.
It's only 28cm in diameter and 7.8cm thick, so it can fit under beds and sofas to reach those dusty corners. It is battery powered but has a 120 minute run time, and is programmed to return to its charging station when it's finished or when the battery is getting low.
It also knows how to avoid obstacles and detect stairs, to avoid damage from running into things around the home. Its suction adapts depending on the surface it finds itself on, too, so carpets and hard flooring will get an equally great treatment.
If this robot vacuum isn't quite right, there are plenty of others on the market to choose from. Shark has the Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Cordless Robot Vacuum Cleaner & Mop, which has full cleaning capabilities, tackles stuck-on stains, and is designed to take multiple passes over dirt and debris to make sure it's all sucked up, all for £250 at Argos.
Those looking to splash the cash could also have a look at the EUFY X10 Pro Omni Robot Vacuum & Mop with All-in-One Station for £799 at Currys, a monster of a robot cleaner which comes with a docking station with its own water tank and dust bag for automatic hands-free cleaning as well as a Pro-Detangle comb that loosens pesky hairs wrapped around the roller brush.
However, with a great 4.2 star rating on Amazon, the Lefant robot vacuum is loved by shoppers. One happy buyer said: "I did so much research on robot vacuums before investing in this one, although it's on the 'cheaper' side of one's that are out there it really does do what it says on the tin! I love that you can set schedules, it goes over rugs and you can also set it to carpet boost! Every day this is on and every day it picks up bits that I can't see. Connecting to phone app was easy and you can even control it yourself if you want it to go in specific areas. This has saved me so much time hoovering honestly a great product!"
Another said: "This is great entry model, cleans well, generally returns home without getting stuck or lost. I was very sceptical about these things. I am now a fan."
A third wrote: "Good suction and is really persistent in getting every area. It collects a lot of dust in places that my handheld can't reach. Loved it so much I'm thinking of repurchasing and gifting one to a family member."
However, some shoppers found it wasn't quite for them. One said: "Great for picking up dust and hair, but anything else, nope. The amount of things I've seen it go over multiple times it won't pick it up even with the different strength settings."
Another added: "Good little hoover that picks up well. But has a tendency to go around and around, and over the same place instead of working its way over the whole floor area. It also doesn't always recognise the one step we have and goes down it."
However, for a great price on a fancy gadget that takes the stress out of household chores, the Lefant M210P Robot Vacuum Cleaner is worth checking out.

Ninja Crispi 'transformed my meals' and now the cheapest ever price - only with this code

Ninja Crispi 'transformed my meals' and now the cheapest ever price - only with this code The Ninja CRISPi 4-in-1 Portable Glass air aryer has a large 1.8L capacity, making it ideal for cooking multiple items at once Ninja has cut the price of all its products (Image: Amazon) They're the staple kitchen gadget, airfryers, plenty of households across the UK will rely on these simple worktop gadgets to cook their meals, all be it for a big family or diner for one. Popular for cutting time and money, one of Ninja's newest models is now the cheapest ever price. Worlds away from the brand's dual airfryer basket appliances, the Ninja Crispi is portable, compact, and everything is cooked in a glass container - which can then be used to store food in afterwards. Usually £179.99 there's now a much cheaper price being offered for shoppers. As part of Ninja's 20% off everything sale, the nifty air fryer has dropped to £149.99, one of the cheapest prices since it launched earlier this year. Only if shoppers use the code Ninja20 at the checkout. But is it worth buying? Writer Eve Rowlands has previously tried it out and says the appliance has left her 'enjoying cooking more'. Ditching her Philips Airfryer for the latest Ninja model, Eve swapped to the Crispi model which she says is more 'user-friendly and compact'. As she explains in her review below. Not only was it more powerful than my previous model, but it also looked sleeker. The Ninja CRISPi 4-in-1 Portable Glass Air Fryer, launched earlier this year, and is incredibly user-friendly. Comprising CleanCrisp thermal-shock resistant glass containers (in which the food is cooked - there are two sizes) and a heating lid, it also includes Non-Stick Crisper Plates, 2 Storage Lids and a PowerPod Adaptor. But that's not all that's impressive about it. The Ninja CRISPi, as its full name suggests, has four different functions, all of which can be performed in the glass base: airfrying, roasting, recrisping and keeping food warm (once cooked). Naturally, the function I've used most is air frying. Ninja 20% off everything sale £179.99 £ 149.99 Ninja Kitchen UK Buy Here Product Description The Ninja CRISPi 4-in-1 Portable Glass Air Fryer Cooking is significantly quicker than with my previous air fryer, which is a definite plus. Although I'm still experimenting with recipes, it has a larger capacity than our old model and has made cooking more enjoyable (mainly because it doesn't take forever). I can place vegetables at the bottom and fish on top (on the crisper tray), and they'll cook perfectly in about 15-20 minutes. This is ideal when you're short on time... or if, like me, you're not particularly fond of spending ages in the kitchen. As there are only two of us in my household, I haven't used it to cook for larger groups. However, the device claims to accommodate a 1.2KG chicken and vegetables for up to six people, which could come in handy. That said, some users have reported less success when trying to prepare full meals for 4-6 people using the gadget, so bear that in mind. One person commented: " The only thing that could have been better for us as a family of 4, is making the capacity slightly larger to cook a larger batch." The roasting mode is also incredibly useful, as it uses far less energy than turning on the oven. I've mainly used it to cook one of my favourite complex carbs, sweet potato fries, and am always amazed at how much quicker it is - around 20-25 minutes, depending on the quantity. Cleaning is also a breeze, which is a welcome change from my previous air fryer. The old model had the typical detachable sieve-like tray and base, both requiring cleaning, which was a time-consuming chore - especially as it wasn't dishwasher safe. The Ninja Crispi is sleek, elegant and perfectly compact for small kitchens (Image: Eve Rowlands) However, the Ninja CRISPi has a single glass base, reducing the cleaning task. Plus, it's dishwasher-friendly, which is a significant advantage. I do believe that this machine excels at preparing more substantial meals rather than quick snacks, such as omelettes - something I'd seen people making on social media. After trying it for lunch one day, while the top was wonderfully crispy and delicious, it took over 15 minutes to cook (compared to about seven with my frying pan) and was slightly soggy on the bottom. That's been the only downside of the machine in my opinion. Another potential drawback, according to some, is the price tag of £179.99, which they consider 'quite expensive'. The Ninja CRISPi 4-in-1 Portable Glass Air Fryer is available in three different colours: blue, stone, and sage green. Article continues below Ninja Kitchen's air fryer appears to be the only fully glass air fryer available on the market, as far as I can tell. However, if you're not particularly keen on that aesthetic and would prefer something with an oven-door-style design, the Lakeland Slimline Air Fryer Black is currently priced at £89.99. It boasts seven pre-set cooking programmes and includes a clear-view cooking window for monitoring your food. Similarly, the Instant Vortex is available at Argos for £80.

We moved into a caravan in my mother-in-law's garden for a year, sure it was cramped but we saved £20k

A WOMAN was able to save a £20k house deposit - after moving into a caravan in her mother-in-law's garden for a year. Freya Gill, 29, and her partner, Charlie Thackwray, 29, were living with their parents when they decided they needed their own space. 3 3 Unable to get on the property ladder straight away, they moved into Charlie's mum's caravan - which she got for free as it already came with her home and moved it to the plot of land they are currently living on in North Allerton, North Yorkshire. The pair remained in the two-berth caravan for a year, saving £2k for the deposit to buy their next caravan. They upgraded their caravan three times, forking out £16k for a newer model with controllable heating, towel radiators in the shower, and an onboard water pump. Freya and Charlie plan to continue living in it for another year while they save to buy land to build their own home and to keep chickens, goats, and alpacas. Freya, a business owner, from North Allerton, North Yorkshire, said: "We are saving up to buy a plot of land as we want to do a field to farm, and anyone who knows that when buying land, you need a much larger deposit. "We are looking at a 25% deposit - money is a massive problem for everyone now, and this is a good alternative to save money. "The rental market is mental, but money aside, people have said they would like to live this way because of your freedom. "If we'd rented a property around here, it would cost £750 a month, and that would just not have been achievable for us. It's so hard to find a rental when you've got a dog." Before moving into their caravan, Freya lived in a three-bedroom house with her parents in North Allerton, North Yorkshire, for £250 a month. The couple always dreamed of owning some land but realised that to do that, they would need savings, so they thought a cost-effective option was living in a caravan which they say is £500 cheaper than renting in the local area. Watch as Josie Gibson tells This Morning she's living in a caravan Freya said: "The living conditions were questionable in the first caravan. "When Charlie's mum bought the house, the caravan came with the house from the 90s, and it had been there for quite a while. "Charlie renovated it, spending £200 by ripping out the floor and painting the interior, but because it was so old and a lot of the caravan didn't work, we decided to move." After a year, the pair moved out of their first caravan and lived in an Eldest Crusader bought from a local dealership for £4K for a year. Then in June 2025, the couple upgraded to an Adria Adora caravan for £16k - and they plan to live in it until they're in a position to buy their own farmland. Freya said: "It's a small space, so the bills are going to be lower anyway. We have set up our solar power system, and that has been a huge help to our savings. "The gas bills are low, and when we run low, it is £80 to get a new gas bottle. "We don't have to pay council tax or water bills, which is helpful. "We collect water and have a filtration system; we just have to pay for a new filter every month. "My friends always say to me that it is not the typical life in their twenties, but we are quite introverted people, so we like the fact that it is just us and we are in our own space." Currently, Freya and Charlie, a caravan dealer, pay £150 rent for the land they use, £55 on gas, £130 on finance, and £350 on food a month. Previously, they spent £250 a month on bills, but they now say they've saved a whopping £20k. Freya said: "We have saved so much money from living in a caravan - it is an excellent alternative to renting. 5 Tips to Get on The Property Ladder Saving for your first property is tough, but it is possible. Here are a few steps for first-time buyers. 1. Cut back on luxuries and start saving Consistent monthly saving is the best way to accumulate enough money to get on the ladder, for a deposit and purchase fees. To do this, you need to take a look at your monthly outgoings and think about what can be cut out - holidays, new clothes, weekly takeaway. Using a savings calculator can help you to establish how long you will need to save for a deposit. Based on your income, you can figure out a realistic amount to save each month. 2. Have a realistic property search Set a budget for the property price you would like to buy, and think realistically about the location and size of your property. While we all may want that house with a view or extra bedroom, can you afford it? 3. Research Help To Buy and Shared Ownership schemes The government has introduced a few ways to help first-time-buyers get on the property ladder and they're great for those on lower incomes or to buy a property in more expensive areas like London. 4. Consider buying with another person Investing with somebody else you know is a sure way to get onto the property ladder. You only need to save half the amount you would otherwise, so you can work towards getting your property sooner. You can invest with a friend, family or partner. Naturally, it is a big step and a huge commitment so be open and honest about what you expect from living together — if you haven't already. 5. Talk to a mortgage broker and get your documents in order A mortgage broker can tell you exactly how much you can borrow for a mortgage, what you will need to pay monthly and in upfront costs. "It has taken us three years to get to this stage, and we are both pleased with how much we have saved. "We are genuinely enjoying our time. I love that it is peaceful, and the sound of the rain is relaxing and helps me sleep. "Sometimes, people living in a caravan receive a common misconception, which is simply false. We want this lifestyle, and we like living this lifestyle. Freya added: "Charlie loves animals, but I have always been animal mad. I was raised on a small holding and want to return to that life. "I've always wanted to improve our place and make it our own. We have plans to build our farmhouse, and Charlie wants to build his lake. We can't wait for the future." 3

'Sony headphones cuy by £80 are the best price and quality - I wear them every day'

My go-to pair of headphones from Sony have great sound quality but are a lot lighter on the bank balance As someone who loves to listen to music, a quality pair of headphones is essential for comfort and quality. When my Bose headphones started to tire after five years, I bought a cheaper Sony pair, and they are my best buy to date. Known for its quality, a flagship pair of Sony headphones can cost as much as £399 for the newest WH-1000XM6, a set best known for its noise-cancelling, but the price isn't for everyone. Which is where my favourite everyday pair come in, the Sony ULT Wear - and they're less than £100. Dropping in price at Amazon, the pair are now on sale for £99, that's £80 cheaper than its previous £179.99 price. Despite having fewer specs than their superior sibling, the WH-1000XM6 - the ULT Wear offers a lot for the price, and I wear them every day. Perimenopausal woman loses nearly 3 stone in 5 months even though she 'loves food' Top Tech: Sky vs Virgin Media as one sport plan cut to 66p a day and £260 TV for £0 A reliable pair of headphones with a portable - and importantly comfortable - design, and decent noice-cancelling features. I've previously raved about the headphones' foldable feature and accompanying travel case, as it makes them a go-to for travelling. The only thing to note is that they are bulky compared to my old Bose Quiet Comfort pair from 2017. The standout feature of the Sony ULT Wear, at least for me, is the superb bass. It really brings out the lower tones in the bass, making them louder and more pronounced. Of course, this depends on your musical tastes. Bass is perfect for hip hop and electronic music, and these Sony headphones will definitely crank it up a notch. Other brands which offer superb bass include Bose with its Quiet Comfort Ultra pair, now £299.95. They also have an adjustable EQ so wearers can change the volume of specific frequencies of the music or sound. Alternatively, Soundcore also off superb bass with its cheaper AnkerQ30 Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones, now £79.99. You can toggle this feature on and off with a simple click of the clearly marked ULT button. There's also an Ambient Sound Mode, activated by pressing the smaller NC/AMB button on the left side. This lets in subtle sounds from your surroundings, which I find handy when I'm out and about and want to stay aware of traffic and people. If you're in a situation where you want pure, undisturbed sound (and just the music), you can press it again to shut out any distractions - a feature I often use on flights.
