An African elephant casually walks up a couple's driveway and stops for a midnight snack in this incredible Ring doorbell footage.
The moment was captured on Deon Geldenhuys and his wife Kim Smith's Ring security camera at their home close to a wildlife estate in South Africa.
The footage shows the elephant standing in the residential driveway, before breaking off branches for a snack.
Deon has also spotted a lioness walking past his study in the middle of the day.
Other animals captured on the battery home security cameras include a giraffe reaching for treetop, a civet enjoying a tasty snack and a porcupine displaying its quills.

This beloved West African cafe in Harlem is coming to a close
One of West Africa's most accomplished chefs, Pierre Thiam has certainly made his mark on the dining scene. Credited with introducing West African cuisine to the fine dining world, the Senegal-born chef and award-winning cookbook author promotes underutilized African grains and goods with his food company, Yolélé, and oversees restaurants on a global scale, including Nok by Alara in Lagos, Nigeria and the five-star Pullman Hotel in Dakar, Senegal. But New Yorkers may readily recognize him for his fast-casual efforts, especially his work at Teranga. Only adding to the culture found inside The Africa Center, the immersive restaurant on the ground floor provides a gateway to the dishes of contemporary Africa—but after a six-year run, the cafe is coming to a close. Today, Teranga announced it is closing its doors in Harlem. As posted on the restaurant's Instagram account, the last day of service will be on Sunday, June 15. 'It is with a sense of sadness and full hearts that we announce that we are closing our doors in Harlem on Sunday, June 15th,' said the Instagram post. It went on to thank those who have supported them throughout the years. 'Thank you to everyone who shared a cup of Ethiopian coffee, a bottle of Bissap, a plate of hot Jollof and Suya, or a side of Kelewele with us.' The restaurant consistently ranked in media outlets, receiving top nods from The New York Times for its 'Shanghainese lion's head' portions of fufu and fluffy fonio. Thiam's 'super bowls' of joloff and salmon entrees received a four-star rating from us at Time Out. Plus, Thiam's introduction of fonio, West Africa's 'miracle,' gluten-free grain, has continued to find grounding here, evident by his collaboration beer with Brooklyn Brewery, Fonio Rising Pale Ale. Yet not all hope is lost, as the fast-casual outpost will remain strong in midtown. Additionally, the team seemingly teased new locations on the horizon. 'This is far from a goodbye as our Midtown location (601 Lexington) will continue to serve New York City, and we will be opening new Teranga locations in the near future.' Bronzeville Art Trolley Tour is back with free night tours of top Chicago galleries
Full of history, massive events like the Bud Billiken Parade and an ever-evolving art scene, Bronzeville is a pulsating Chicago neighborhood worth exploring. And for art enthusiasts? To get a decent feel for the nabe's art scene, the Bronzeville Art District Trolley Tour is back again for its 19th season—and good news: the event is free for everyone! You'll explore not only that gallery, but also the Faie Afrikan Art Gallery and the Blanc Gallery, as well as other unique locations. Along the way, you'll get to learn about local, national and international artists and their celebrated works, with guides giving valuable context to what you're viewing and pondering. You'll also discover the stories surrounding greater Bronzeville, home to many artists throughout history. Continuing in the Bronzeville Art District every third Friday throughout the summer, from June through September, guests can also see the Bronzeville Artist Lofts, which includes over a dozen lively studios where you can see artists create in real time. Artists reside and work here, essentially living and breathing art on a daily basis. These painterly personalities will give you an in-depth look into what it's like to be a professional creator. If you're unfamiliar with the area, Bronzeville is a celebrated nucleus for Black history and culture, and the Bronzeville Art District has supported artists through distinct galleries that spotlight the works of the African diaspora and beyond. A new beachfront destination has arrived in Dubai. After months (and months) of waiting, J1 Beach Dubai opened in 2024 and is now home to 13 licensed fine-dining concepts. From South of France export Bâoli to uber-elegant Italian Gigi Rigolatto, there is plenty of delicious cuisines to discover along the 500-metre shoreline strip. The best J1 Beach restaurants in Dubai African Queen J1 Beach Dubai. Since opening its doors in 1969 in Beaulieu-sur-Mer on the French Riviera, African Queen is all about Med sophistication. Known for serving up Riviera classics, African Queen has attracted a fancy clientele and has drawn in some global icons. When it opened in Dubai at J1 Beach it instantly became a go-to place for Dubai diners to visit. Time Out Dubai even spotted Lindsay Lohan grabbing a bite to eat with her husband. Tulum-inspired eatery GITANO is a Mexican-themed spot that features traditional dishes as well as a 'Gypsy Disco' experience for guests. Founded by British-born James Gardner, the venue is kitted out with a modern jungle feel, branded with neon signs and of course, the iconic disco ball – a nod to its New York flair. Designed to look like a stunning Morrocan majlis, the indoor/outdoor space features a turquoise tiled pool, rich earth tones and traditional textiles. All with a cool and modern twist. In addition to delicious Lebanese, Iraqi, Turkish and Moroccan cuisine, Ninive Beach also offers pool and beach access, chic sunbeds and Moroccan-inspired cabanas. Located at J1 Beach Sakhalin has views of the Arabian Gulf, a gorgeous terrace and a stunning centrepiece fountain under an illuminated roof installation made from shimmering light.
