She soon changed into a nude skin-tight bodysuit featuring glossy black panels which saw her arms fully covered in sleek latex.
Jennifer's light brown tresses flew back in the wind and she accentuated her natural beauty with a full face of make-up.
Performing just a few miles away from the White House, the Ain't Your Mama songstress told attendees: 'We are singing and dancing right here on their front lawn, misbehaving. Yes, we are."
Thanking her queer fans for their ongoing support, Jennifer added on the Festival Grounds at RFK Campus: 'Over the years, your love and your support have been a source of strength for me and today I am here to celebrate you.
"I'm so happy to be able to be here to celebrate community, diversity, love, and freedom.'
For her finale, Jennifer covered George Michael's Freedom! '90 with backing vocals of the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington and a moving video tribute featuring LGBTQ+ pioneers including Marsha P. Johnson.
She also unveiled a brand-new Pride anthem, I'm Free, and gave fans an early glimpse of her next film project.
Jennifer debuted the title number from Kiss of the Spider Woman, her upcoming musical about a gay man surviving the horrors of an Argentinian prison by retreating into daydreams of a glamorous movie star.
This year's WorldPride DC marked 50 years since the first Pride events were held in the U.S. capital.
The festival - part of a city-wide celebration lasting several weeks - included a major parade, protest marches, and performances from big names like Doechii, Cynthia Erivo, and Troye Sivan.
Jennifer Lopez slammed by fans over 'embarrassing' American Music Awards kiss with female dancer
Stars including Paris Hilton, Tinashe, Trisha Paytas and Betto Who also took to the stage.
It comes just weeks after JLo was slammed by fans for an "embarrassing" American Music Awards routine, which saw her kiss both male and female dancers.
Her lively choreography opened the Las Vegas event on Memorial Day, and saw the I'm Real popstar belt out a variety of the year's top hits.
As Jennifer transitioned from singing Benson Boone's Beautiful Things into Teddy Swims' Lose Control, she swooped in for a kiss with her backing dancers.
First she shared a smooch with a male dancer, before a female grabbed her head for an extended snog.
The unexpected kisses saw JLo blasted by fans who were left hugely confused by her behaviour.
One suggested on X she had "lost the plot" while another posted: "Why is Jennifer Lopez kissing everyone at the AMAs?"
Another viewer wrote: "Just looked up from my phone and JENNIFER LOPEZ IS KISSING A GIRL?!?!"
Others then suggested the Maid In Manhattan actress had staged the routine intentionally to make ex husband Ben Affleck jealous, after their divorce was finalised.
JLo stripped to a semi-sheer catsuit adorned with silver panels and jewel detail for her performance, cutting a glam figure as she styled her hair poker-straight.
The AMAs host kicked off with her 2012 tune Dance Again before following with some of the year's top hits including Billie Eilish's Birds Of A Feather and Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us.
She also made her mark on the event, which saw 80-year-old Rod Stewart honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, with a series of outfit changes.
The star was back hosting the AMAs after having previously stepped into the role in 2015.
The Love Don't Cost A Thing vocalist first graced the AMAs stage in 2001 and has gone onto perform 10 times at the prestigious awards.
Previously, event bosses gushed over JLo's return to the AMA's stage - as other stars including Taylor Swift gave the event a miss.
"We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Lopez back to host the American Music Awards," Jay Penske, the CEO of Dick Clark Productions said.
"Jennifer's incredible talent and incomparable stage presence make her the ideal host of the show.
"We know she will bring her one-of-a-kind energy to the official kick off celebration of summer."

Where to celebrate NYC Pride 2025 at Moxy Hotels across the city

Moxy Hotels is once again going all in on Pride, with a packed schedule of events this June across all five of its NYC properties. Whether you're looking for rooftop drag shows, burlesque bingo or a vodka soda that literally says Gay Water, this year's programming is loud, proud and refreshingly well thought-out. The headline event is 'Pride for the People,' a post-parade block party hosted by RuPaul's Drag Race alum, Xunami Muse. Taking place at Moxy Chelsea on June 29, the party includes DJ sets, live performances, on-site makeup from Stencil1 and a signature cocktail called Pride Punch. Tickets are $10, with all proceeds benefiting The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI). That partnership with SIGBI goes beyond the party. All five NYC Moxy locations— Chelsea, Times Square, East Village, Lower East Side and Williamsburg —have officially been certified as Safe Spaces through the initiative. "As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I'm thrilled that at Moxy, Pride is more than a month—it's a mindset," Lauren Levin, chief marketing officer at Moxy Hotels / Lightstone, said in a statement. "We're the only hotel brand in NYC to partner with The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative, certifying each of our hotels as a designated safe space and training our staff to ensure every guest feels truly welcome." Other standout Pride events include Burlesque Bingo at Moxy East Village on June 23, hosted by The Nuyorican Bombshell and her crew of high-glam performers, plus a free round of Drag Bingo with Sparkle Monster at Moxy Chelsea on June 9. There's also a Pride Salsa class on June 19 at Moxy Chelsea for anyone looking to learn new moves—or show off old ones—in a crowd that knows how to celebrate identity with rhythm. Over in Brooklyn, Strut NYC takes over the rooftop at Moxy Williamsburg on June 26. The party promises sunset views, cocktails and a stacked lineup of performers including Julie J, Markus Kelle and Coach Chris. It's co-presented by Helium Mobile and Sun Cruiser, two brands leaning hard into the queer nightlife space this year. For those who prefer their Pride a little quieter (but still Instagrammable), the lobby of Moxy Chelsea is getting its annual Pride makeover courtesy of Starbright Floral Design. The show-stopping installation, led by artist Nikki Abis, transforms the space into a high-color, high-drama tribute to self-expression and visibility. Also worth noting, the "Moxy's Got Pride" hotel package includes two tickets to NYC's official Pride walking tour, two cans of Gay Water and a rainbow tie-dye bandana. A portion of proceeds go to SIGBI because even mini-fridges should be part of the movement. The full schedule spans June, and most events are either free or low-cost. And while the hotel group is clearly not shy about aligning itself with Pride, the effort feels like more than a marketing play—especially when paired with community partnerships, staff training and events that give back. It's Pride with purpose, and yes, plenty of glitter.

Beyoncé brings rodeo to London

On 7 June, Beyoncé returned to London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a three-hour-long showcase for her most recent album, Cowboy Carter. She set the tone with her opening song, 'Ameriican Requiem' – distancing herself from her best-known R&B hits of the 2010s and confirming her transition to a hybrid, country-inflected genre of her own creation. 'Genres are a funny little concept, aren't they,' the opening line of 'Spaghettii' playfully states, in the middle of an album that weaves together plucky banjos and a more predictable R&B soundscape. The show gained momentum with every song. There was a flurry of costume changes: from white-fringed cowboy trousers to LED colour-changing dresses to bejewelled leotards. The singer's lauded vocals were so strong they overpowered the microphone as she sang 'The Star-Spangled Banner', the US national anthem, leading into the R&B-gospel mix 'Freedom'. But the crowd were inevitably most animated during her old hits: 'If I Were a Boy' and 'Crazy in Love', released in 2003. Not even intermittent rain could dampen the spirits of performer or audience. The staging was elaborate: at one point, Beyoncé sang from atop a gold mechanical bull. Later, she was suspended over the crowd in a huge horseshoe, followed by a red cabriolet as she performed the country ballad '16 Carriages'. Both of Beyoncé's daughters were present. Eight-year-old Rumi sat with her mother during 'Protector' – an ode to motherhood – and Blue Ivy, 13, performed as a back-up dancer. The night finished with a bang: during the expansive prayer for America, 'Amen', columns of fire spread a welcome wave of heat over the audience – many of whom were wearing fringed shorts or cropped denim shirts covered with plastic raincoats. 'I'm not like other singers,' Beyoncé sang, with a wink. Concerning message Scott Wolf's wife Kelley posted about 'telling the truth' weeks before shock split announcement

Kelley Wolf hinted at being 'misunderstood' and said she wanted to 'tell the truth' in a cryptic Instagram post just weeks before she announced her shock split from husband Scott. The author, 48, shared a poem about writing her next book, in which she talked about finding 'freedom' by 'breaking old patterns, breaking expectations' and 'even breaking yourself open.' She told fans she couldn't wait to 'love and live in a way I didn't even know was possible' as she revealed she 'sat in stillness and wept' on completing a chapter which had come 'straight from the center of my heart.' 'I just finished a chapter in my next book — and honestly, it might be one of the best things I've ever written,' she wrote on May 5. 'I know that may sound bold, but when I read it back, I sat in stillness and wept,' the poem read. 'Because somehow, these words came straight from the center of my heart — clear, fierce, and free. 'There's something about breaking old patterns, breaking expectations, even breaking yourself open — that creates a kind of freedom that's hard to explain and impossible to ignore.' She urged her followers to 'really listen to the part of you that knows it's time to change,' adding: 'And then… hold the line... hold onto love and hope and optimism and beauty. It's WORTH IT! YOU ARE WORTH IT!' She continued: 'And while the noise around me lately has been loud, I will not take the bait of other people's wounds. 'I came here to tell the truth. To write with integrity. To live with my whole heart— even when it's misunderstood.' Kelley said she has 'never been clearer. I've never been lighter. And I've never, ever been happier,' before finishing: 'I cannot wait to love and live in a way I didn't even know was possible.' The post came four days after she told fans she was signing off Instagram to spend time with her family, finish her book and enjoy some 'silence.' She teased a chapter about boundaries, claiming she has finally discovered the importance of setting them. She wrote: 'I've even dedicated a whole chapter to them in this next book — because I don't think I fully understood the power of saying 'this is where I end, and you begin.'' Kelley, a certified life & personal development coach, confirmed she was divorcing Scott, 57, in a cryptic Instagram post on Tuesday. 'It is with a heavy heart that Scott and I are moving forward with the dissolution of our marriage,' she wrote. Kelley confirmed the divorce from the Party Of Five star, 57, in a cryptic Instagram post on Tuesday 'This has been a long, quiet journey for me — rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children.' Kelley did not reveal the reason for the split but later spoke about 'healing' and finding 'freedom' in this next chapter of her life. She also referred to the Party Of Five star as 'one of the best partners a woman could have the privilege of sharing life with' before asking fans to respect their family's privacy. Scott has yet to publicly address his and Kelley's split. The announcement came one week after they celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary. The couple did not publicly honor the milestone on their respective social media pages. The year prior, Kelley made a concerning revelation as she marked their 20th wedding anniversary. The reality TV star revealed that she 'almost walked out' of their relationship when she noticed Scott starting to 'poke at me, challenge me.' 'The first few times, I wrote it off as stress or the beginnings of getting to know somebody's idiosyncrasies,' Kelley wrote. 'But then, I had this feeling come back to me that I had in the past. It was a feeling that I didn't like, and a feeling, I had worked very hard to process, heal, and make sure I noticed when/if it ever came again. 'It was the feeling of self betrayal. It was the feeling of bending myself in order to accommodate another person even when I knew that I had done nothing wrong.' Kelley recalled taking off her engagement ring and handing it to Scott before telling him that she 'will not stick around while somebody tries to excavate fault in me.' When left with the possibility of losing her forever, Kelley said that Scott stepped up and fought for their relationship. The longtime couple wed back in 2004 and are parents to three young children: Jackson, Miller and Lucy.
