Demi Lovato 'throws bachelorette party in Las Vegas'... days before wedding to Jordan Lutes

Daily Mail19-05-2025

Demi Lovato reportedly threw her bachelorette party in Las Vegas over the weekend.
The 32-year-old singer was in Sin City with her closest friends when she celebrated the end of her single life, according to TMZ.
There were few details about what her weekend was like except that it included the Electric Daisy Festival.
This comes on the heels of news that she is set to marry her fiance Jutes - whose birth name is Jordan Lutes - on Memorial Day weekend.
Memorial Day weekend in 2025 will be from Saturday, May 24 to Monday, May 26.
The former Disney star - who recently revealed that they have never been happier - has been engaged to Lutes for about a year-and-a-half.
Demi and the 34-year-old Canadian musician will be exchanging vows on Memorial Day weekend, TMZ claimed last week.
No location has been revealed, according to the publication's sources.
Her Holy Fvck back-up vocalist bandmate nicknamed 'Jutes' popped the question to her in December 2023.
Jutes teamed up with New York City-based jewelry company Material Good's Teresa Panico to create the bespoke pear-shape diamond sparkler.
'I'm still speechless! Last night was the best night of my life and I can't believe I get to marry the love of my life @jutesmusic,' Demi wrote at the time when she announced her engagement.
'My love, I'm beyond excited to marry you. Every day I've spent with you has been a dream come true and I can't wait to love and cherish you forever. Here's to the rest of our lives. I love you baby!'
At the time Grammy nominee and Jutes got matching tattoos of the track - 4 Ever 4 Me - which she wrote especially about him.
The heavily-tattooed millennial and Demi - who met in January 2022 - also reportedly collaborated on her songs Substance, Happy Ending, and City of Angels.
Jutes marks Lovato's second engagement after ending her first engagement to four-time Daytime Emmy nominee Max Ehrich in 2020 after six months of dating.
This comes after Demi insisted she's never been happier as she updated fans on her wellbeing in a candid Instagram post after sparking Ozempic rumors with her recent weight loss.
The former child star reflected on how far they've come in the past five years as she shared a sweet video on Wednesday.
Demi danced in the short clip as she shared 'things that would send 2020 me into a coma.'
Revealing the list, she wrote: 'The happiest I've ever been, loving cooking and rebuilding my relationship with food, surrounded by loved ones.
'Three songs in the billions club!!!, acting in a move premiering at Tribeca, engaged to love of my life, in the studio making music I love (I can't wait to share!), I have three dogs'.
Recently, Demi shared a set of new bikini-clad photos on social media sparking Ozempic rumors.
Last week, the Camp Rock star modeled a two-piece which boasted a black bandeau top and matching high-waisted bottoms, flaunting her newly slimmed down figure.
Demi posed up a storm in a swimming pool overlooking the picturesque ocean.
The post came amid speculation that the ex Disney actress could be using a GLP-1 weight loss drug like Ozempic or Mounjaro.
Under her previous Instagram post, social media users were quick to point out her different look.
'Honey just stop the ozempic; Demi ilysm but stop rn with the ozempic you've been perfect for ages pls keep some curves;
'She has the Ozempic drop in her cheeks; Ozempic Queen; Ozempic hitting hard.'
Demi has not publicly commented on the rumors.
In March, Demi was accused of ditching her ' woke ' era in favor of cultivating a more 'soft girl' inspired image.
The singer previously sported a shaved head in a bid to shed 'gender and sexuality norms', identified as non-binary and called out a froyo shop for 'triggering' her due to a past eating disorder.
Yet in recent months she has transformed her image to a retro glamor look coupled with wholesome cooking videos.
Gone are the controversies of the past as a smiling Demi rustled up a roast chicken dinner in a recent TikTok, although fans were later left concerned over her nervous 'shaking' in the clip.
Demi's transformation wowed fans who quipped she's gone from 'woke to womanhood' and entered her 'feminine soft girl era.'
One fan wrote: 'Soooo this was just a phase' while a second typed: 'her aura is so back.'
The former child star has previously suffered a turbulent personal life, suffering a near-fatal heroin and fentanyl overdose inside her $8.3M Hollywood Hills mansion back in July 2018.

Ye had been complaining about not seeing his six children - daughter North, 11; son Saint, 9; daughter Chicago, 7; and son Psalm, 5 - from his six-year marriage to Kim Kardashian, which ended in 2021. 'With all of my money and fame I still don't get to see my children,' the Atlanta-born Chicago native rapped in Heil Hitler. Mariah Carey mercilessly mocked over BET Awards performance as fans accuse her of lip syncing

Mariah Carey made a jaw-dropping appearance at the BET Awards on Monday night. Not only did the legendary diva, 56, receive the coveted Icon Awards, she was also one of the best-dressed stars at the event. However, some fans were underwhelmed when Mimi took to the stage to perform her new single Type Dangerous. Despite looking like a million bucks, the Honey hitmaker barely moved while performing the hip-hop track. 'I love Mariah but one thing she's not gonna do is dance! Well still love her music though,' commented one. 'She's been in this industry too long to just be standing there like that,' wrote another. 'I remember when Mariah divorced Tommy [Mottola] and danced for a whole album before she decided that was enough,' joked a third. One naysayer even compared Mariah to her longtime rival Jennifer Lopez. 'The way she needs help going down a small flight of stairs is hilarious, and then you have JLo doing back flips and front flips on stage dancing salsa and hip hop at the level of 20- to 30-year-old professional dancers,' they wrote. 'She is the most boring entertainer I've ever seen,' added another. Some fans also claimed that songstress may have been lip syncing her performance. 'Mariah please lip sync more convincingly!!' wrote one, while another wrote, 'Mariah was stiff as hell lip syncing up there but that's MOTHER so I'll let it slide.' Despite some backlash, many others defended Mariah and insisted that she'd earned the right to perform however she wants to after such a long and illustrious career. 'The only woman in the industry that cannot move the entire time and still shut the stage down,' gushed one. 'Don't disrespect the legend. Expecting Mariah to dance is like expecting Aretha (RIP) to dance. DIVAS don't dance,' wrote another. While her performance left a little to be desired, Mimi certainly turned heads with her ageless good looks at the awards show. The 56-year-old looked shockingly youthful in a stunning gold sequined minidress to perform her latest hit. The beauty, who wore her long blond hair pin straight with a middle part, also pulled out a glittering white corset dress for later in the ceremony. It had a prominent bust and sparkling sequins that complemented the tear-shaped diamonds on her necklaces and earrings, as well as her glittering bracelets. She was honored with the BET Ultimate Icon Award along with other stars, including Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg and Kirk Franklin. Mariah is currently preparing to release her 16th studio album. According to Forbes, the songstress, who has had 19 number one singles, is aiming to get her 20th chart topper with her new single Type Dangerous. 'She's fighting to stay contemporary,' her longtime producer LA Reid told the publication. Mariah left her label Epic Records, who released her last album Caution, to partner with new music company Gamma for her comeback.

Vogue slammed for putting controversial Blake Lively front and center amid Justin Baldoni legal feud

Vogue magazine has been bombarded with messages from angry followers after its publishers boldly decided to post Blake Lively at the front of a carousel of photos in an Instagram upload. On Tuesday morning, the publication took a moment to celebrate Chanel 's 18th Tribeca Festival Artists dinner at The Odeon restaurant which had taken place the previous evening. Gossip Girl alum Blake, 37, was among the celebrity guests in attendance, and showed up a mere couple of hours after it was revealed that Justin Baldoni 's $400 million countersuit against her had been dismissed. She joined the glitzy dinner alongside the likes of Hollywood legend Robert De Niro, Mad Men star Jon Hamm, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina's Whitney Peak. Vogue shared a carousel of photos from the glamorous event, opting to lead the upload with a picture of Blake. 'Lights, camera, Chanel!' they captioned the post. 'Last night at The Odeon, @ChanelOfficial hosted its 18th annual Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner, honoring the artists who contributed original works for this year's Festival award-winning filmmakers. 'From @BlakeLively and Robert De Niro to @WhitneyPeak, Jon Hamm and Anna Osceola, head to the link in our bio to see the film stars, artists, and downtown darlings who stepped out for the occasion.' The decision to kick off the upload with Blake, however, didn't sit well with Vogue magazine's followers who blasted it as a 'poor choice.' 'Starting off with Blake was a poor choice,' one said. 'She was cancelled months ago,' another blasted. 'Enough Vogue.' A third continued: 'You lost me at lively. Cancel Blake.' 'Bold choice using Blake on the first picture…,' wrote another. 'Oof why are people still supporting Blake Lively?' asked a fifth. A sixth continued: 'Truly, I can't even scroll through my already depressing/disturbing feed with the current world we live in… 'I specifically came to Vogue to just look at some stellar fashion. First photo was of Blake Lively, right off the bat... Really Vogue - the very first photo?!? 'Why are all these publications shoving certain problematic people [that we don't want to see] in our faces constantly?? It honestly feels like we aren't allowed to enjoy anything anymore, without it having to be tainted in some kind of way… sad.' The decision to kick off the upload with Blake, however, didn't sit well with Vogue magazine's followers Blake has been embroiled in a legal wrangle with her It Ends with Us costar Justin for months. In December 2024, the actress sued Justin for allegedly sexually harassing her on set — claims he denied - before he and Wayfarer Studios fired back with a defamation suit against Blake, her publicist Leslie Sloane and husband Ryan Reynolds. Justin also waged war with The New York Times, filing a $250million lawsuit against the publication over its bombshell tell-all on Blake's sexual harassment claims against her former co-star on December 31, 2024. On Monday June 9, however, it was learned that a judge dismissed Justin's lawsuit in a major setback for the actor's hopes for a blockbuster win over the millionaire actress. Judge Lewis J Liman dismissed Justin's suit alleging defamation and extortion on the basis that all Blake's allegations were made within privileged court papers. The judge said in the order obtained by 'The Wayfarer Parties have not alleged that Lively is responsible for any statements other than the statements in her CRD complaint, which are privileged. 'The Wayfarer Parties have alleged that Reynolds and [publicist Leslie] Sloane made additional statements accusing Baldoni of sexual misconduct and that the Times made additional statements accusing the Wayfarer Parties of engaging in a smear campaign. 'But the Wayfarer Parties have not alleged that Reynolds, Sloane or the Times would have seriously doubted these statements were true based on the information available to them, as is required for them to be liable for defamation under applicable law. 'The Wayfarer Parties' additional claims also fail. Accordingly, the Amended Complaint must be dismissed in its entirety.'
