However, there were countless fans who were unable to grab tickets for the sold-out event - with some opting to instead try to sneak into the concert.
On Friday, a number of fans - reportedly as many as 50 - were seen armed with a ladder as they tried to scale a fence into the gig.

Fans could be seen storming the fences at Heaton Park in droves as the Gallagher brothers took to the stage shortly after 8pm.
The ticketless group were filmed running over a fallen metal fence panel before disappearing behind a line of trees.
However, it is understood that none managed to make it through to the stage as they were later met with a second, much taller, line of wooden fencing.
Police could then be seen intervening to prevent any further fans making their way into the gig without a ticket.

It is understood that the tall fences and heavy security presence deterred those who were trying to chance their way inside.
The huge crowds of ticketless fans had gathered at the spot - dubbed "Gallagher Hill" - after learning it had a view to the massive screens behind the band.

Assistant Chief Constable Matt Boyle said: "We have been planning for these events for several months, working with partners and the organisers to make sure everyone can enjoy the concerts safely. To that end, I'm pleased to say that the first two Oasis homecoming events have been a success.
"What has been especially pleasing is how more than 100,000 people have enjoyed these iconic events safely and without trouble.

Everything you need to know about Oasis in Croke Park

Oasis are set to bring their reunion tour to Ireland with two huge gigs at Dublin's Croke Park in August - find out everything you need to know about the highly-anticipated gigs here. After bust-ups, smash hits and break-ups, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have finally put their differences aside and taken to the road for their first gigs in over 16 years, kicking off their Live 25 tour with two triumphant gigs at Cardiff's Principality Stadium at the start of July. Former members of the group have also made a return with Andy Bell on bass, Gem Archer and Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs on guitars and renowned drummer Joey Waronker behind the kit. The Manchester rockers last played in Ireland in 2009 when they headlined Slane Castle, performing to over 80,000 fans, so excitement levels are through the roof for Irish fans of the iconic Britpop band. Find out the important details of Oasis' Croke Park gigs below. When and where Oasis bring their highly-anticipated Live 25 tour to Croke Park on Jones' Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 3, on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 August 2025. Getting there Croke Park is within easy reach of the city centre and Dublin Airport and is well serviced by transport links. Walking/Cycling The stadium is just a 30 minute walk or 10 minute cycle from O'Connell Street in the city centre. Driving Increased traffic volumes and local road closures lead to significant delays on concert days. The roads surrounding the stadium are residential and car parking is limited, with restrictions in place. Organisers advise concert goers to use public transport. Bus A large number of Dublin Bus routes bring you close to Croke Park and others will get you to the city centre which is within walking distance. Bus Routes that serve Croke Park 1, 6, 7(a), 11, 13, 15, 16, 27(a/b), 33, 40(b/d/e), 41(b/c/d), 42, 43, 44, 53a, 122, 123, 130, H1, H2, H3. Full details at Train/Dart/Luas The closest railway station is Drumcondra at the intersection of Drumcondra Road (N1) and Clonliffe Road, a five-minute walk from the stadium. The closest Dart stations are Connolly and Clontarf which are both less than half an hour's walk from the stadium. The closest Luas stop is also at Connolly Station on the Red Line. The Parnell and Marlborough Green Line Luas stops are also close by. Approach Routes BLUE ROUTE (Hogan Stand): Enter via Jones Road and Russell Street. RED ROUTE (Cusack Stand): Enter via St James Avenue and Foster Terrace. YELLOW ROUTE (Davin Stand): Enter via St Margaret's Terrace. GREEN ROUTE (PITCH A): Enter via Josephs Avenue. RED ROUTE (PITCH B & C): Enter via St James Avenue and Foster Terrace. Opening time of the venue Admission begins at 5pm. Strictly no early queuing or camping permitted. Stage times will be released closer to the concert dates. Can I still buy tickets? Unfortunately not! The tickets have long been snapped up for these gigs following a dynamic pricing furore. Fans can keep an eye on Ticketmaster for official resale tickets and see if they get lucky. What to expect Expect to hear over 80,000 rabid Irish Oasis fans screaming at the top of their lungs along to the band's sizeable back-catalogue of hits! By all accounts, Liam and Noel are on top form for the reunion tour. Following a triumphant return to the stage in Cardiff on 4 July, they went on to play emotionally charged, hit-laden sets when they kicked off a five-date homecoming run in Manchester on 11 July. They'll play five nights at London's Wembley Stadium and three at Edinburgh's Murrayfield so the lads are sure to be primed and ready for their two-nighter at Croke Park in August. We imagine the Dublin leg of the tour will carry extra significance for the Gallagher brothers due to their deep ties to Ireland - their parents Peggy and Thomas are both Irish and they consider it a strong part of their identity. Setlist Setlists are always subject to change, but here's the one from their Heaton Park, Manchester gig on 12 July. F***ing in the Bushes (Intro) Hello Acquiesce Morning Glory Some Might Say Bring It on Down Cigarettes & Alcohol Fade Away Supersonic Roll with It Talk Tonight Half the World Away Little by Little D'You Know What I Mean? This requirement also applies to under 16s in the reserved seating sections. What else should I be aware of No queuing or camping allowed. Patrons are advised to allow sufficient time to travel to the event and pass through security checks. If patrons do turn up early, they will be turned away at restricted area points around the event site. Queuing in streets around Croke Park will cause disruption to residents of the area and we appeal to patrons to heed this advice and respect the local community. Customers should plan to be within Croke Park 45 minutes before show start. This event will take place rain, hail or shine. Cian Ducrot review: Homecoming to remember with two sold-out nights at the Marquee

Cork singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot celebrated a homecoming to remember at the first of two sold-out gigs at Live at the Marquee on Saturday night. The rain which fell from early afternoon in the city didn't stop fans from flocking to the Marquee to witness the first of the All For You singer's two shows at the tented venue. Ducrot, who had previously shared how much he loves coming back home to play on Cork soil, was met with cheers and screams as he walked on stage, arms outstretched. Ducrot's effortless ability to connect with his audience was immediately clear, with his set inspiring raw, hand-on-heart emotion from the audience. Ducrot's songs, which explore themes of love, loss, heartbreak and personal struggles, and focus on emotional honesty and vulnerability, resonated with the crowd from the beginning. Getting right into his set, he kicked the night off with an upbeat performance of Who's Making You Feel It which had the Marquee crowd dancing and singing along. He then took to his piano for a solo to kick off his next song Little Dreaming before continuing the upbeat set with Heaven and Shalalala. 'Cork, how are you? This is the most incredible feeling that I have ever felt. I just want to say I love you so, so much,' he said, letting the crowd know how much it meant to him that his fans managed to sell-out two back-to-back shows at the venue - his first time playing the iconic venue. Fresh from a string of gigs in the UK, the Passage West-raised singer continued the gig by asking the crowd to 'raise your hands if you've had your heart broken recently' before choosing to bring fan Orlaith up on stage. Both sitting on the piano, he dedicated his next song The Book Of Love to Orlaith. The only time the Marquee fell silent was when Ducrot swapped his guitar for the flute for Kiss And Tell, a nod to just how talented the musician is at turning his hand to the many instruments he can play. Cian Ducrot playing Live at the Marquee. Picture: Larry Cummins Supporting Ducrot on Saturday night was country pop group Remember Monday. The group, consisting of members Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull and Charlotte Steele, gained prominence after appearing on The Voice UK in 2019 and went on to represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the song What the Hell Just Happened?. Singer-songwriter Hetta Falzon will warm the crowd up at Sunday night's gig at the Marquee before Ducrot takes to the stage for a second night. Raised in Cork, Ducrot studied music in London before moving back to Ireland to pursue his dream. He rose to fame with his singles All For You and I'll Be Waiting, both of which gained popularity via TikTok and charted highly in Ireland following their release in 2022. He went on to make his main stage debut at Electric Picnic in 2023 which he previously described as a stand-out moment in his career to date. His debut studio album Victory was released on August 4, 2023, and reached number 1 in the UK and Ireland. With over 801 billion streams, Ducrot's music continued to make an impact long after the release of his first album and he went on to play to a total of 36,000 people across two headline shows in Dublin and Cork before touring as support for Calum Scott across North America. Most recently, he introduced a handful of new tracks in the shape of Here It Is, Something I Can't Afford, Can't Even Hate You, and Your Eyes and received his first Grammy nomination as the co-writer of SZA's smash hit Saturn. Ducrot is also set to play a headline concert at Dublin's 3Arena on Saturday, December 20.
