Before the advent of Facebook, Twitter and co, the easiest place to meet complete strangers online was an internet chat room. Among the first and most popular during the late 90s and early noughties were the AOL chat rooms, where you could find a group for almost any topic. People were so excited by the new technology that these chat rooms were generally good natured and not filled with the vitriol that plagues so much of social media these days, though you were never quite sure who you were talking to online. Love Island USA fans went wild after spotting what appeared to be an IUD on the floor of the villa. During an episode on June 5, the contestants of the new season were on their way to play a game when eagle-eyed fans caught something that looked like a birth control device. 'HELP WHOSE IUD FELL ON THE GROUND OMG,' a user posted to Twitter, along with a close-up photo of the item. The item in question looked similar to the birth control device with its T-like form. People ran to the comments in pure shock that the IUD seemingly fell out of one of the contestants. 'I didn't even know those can fall out like that omg…' another shared. 'IM SCREAMINGGGGG,' a person enthusiastically wrote. 'IUDs don't just 'fall out' like for STARTERS, someone either wasn't wearing underwear or completely purposely pulled that out,' a comment read. 'This season is already too much what is going on,' someone else dictated. 'That looks like one, but no way it really is hahaha,' a person speculated. Another joked: 'We're definitely getting a Love Island baby this season.' '…And you know out of all the scenes they could have edited into this part, they chose the one with IUD on the floor,' a user penned. 'This can't be real...' someone wrote, and another said, 'Oh nooo what???' People ran to the comments in pure shock that the IUD fell out of one of the contestants Other users were shocked that anyone could even spot the device. 'Omggg how did you even see this?' a person asked. 'Yo, you got a good eye [because] how did you notice[this]?' another questioned. The moment also went viral on TikTok, where many users posting the shock moment. One user shared two moments the 'IUD' could be noticed in the episode. However, the speculation was cleared up when host Ariana Madix replied to a video on TikTok, per US Magazine. 'Lmao it's from the flowers but this is cracking me up,' she wrote. On Love Island USA, a spinoff of Love Island UK, singles live together in a villa for about two months and couple up with the islander they are most attracted to. The episodes air six nights a week, and fans impact how the season unfolds by voting for their favorite islanders. During season 7 - the newest season - a cast member was removed from the show after clips of them using racist slurs began surfacing online. Yulissa Escobar, 27, was released from the reality TV show off-camera during only the second episode before the rest of the contestants woke up for the day.

Later this month 135,000 people will pack into Worthy Farm for perhaps the biggest musical event of the year - the Glastonbury Festival. They'll see headliners The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo and Neil Young, along with hundreds of other acts across over 100 stages. But looking at the schedule on the official website, music fans will see numerous timeslots with 'TBA' next to them - with no indication of who will be playing. It could be a global megastar, or some busker from down the road on an acoustic guitar. Such is the joy of the festival. There are some big gaps to be filled - on Friday there's 11.30am on the Woodsies Stage, 4.55pm on the Pyramid Stage, and 8.30pm on the BBC Introducing Stage. On Saturday, expect plenty of interest about who exactly 'Patchwork' are - third on the Pyramid Stage bill. Meanwhile there will be surprises for prime spots on the Park Stage at 7.30pm and the Shangri-la Stage at midnight. On Sunday, those opting to go to the BBC Introducing Stage at 8.30pm could be in for a treat (or not). Rumours are rife about who will be performing - here are 11 possibilities. 1 .
