Eight Glasgow SCIAF workers complete Edinburgh Marathon
The colleagues tackled the Royal leg, the Cock and Pan Leg, the Gosford Leg and the Glory Leg, which are 8.3 miles, 5.5 miles, 8 miles and 4.4 miles respectively.

Jennifer Adams, 53, from Cambuslang, ran the 4.4-mile 'Glory' leg, and her team finished the race in four hours and 13 minutes.
The other SCIAF team completed the race in three hours and 54 minutes.
Jennifer said: "I loved doing the Glory Run – I got the cheers from all the supporters on the streets for doing the least amount of miles!
"It was an amazing day for all our colleagues – great atmosphere and camaraderie among us all, despite me getting absolutely pelted with hail and wind and rain two minutes into my run.
"2026 – I'll watch from the street and cheer!"
Jennifer Adams (Image: Supplied) One of the charity's main reasons for running the marathon was to contribute to the "Relay of Hope," a global movement designed to draw attention to the worldwide debt crisis.
SCIAF are participating in the cause to call for the cancellation of crippling debts that trap countries in cycles of poverty.

SCIAF has spent nearly six decades helping people in the world's poorest places to escape poverty, protect their living conditions and aid disaster recovery.

Ben Wilson, from Rutherglen, who ran the eight-mile Gosford Leg, said: 'I only ran eight miles.
"Some kids in the countries we work in walk that distance just to get to and from school.
"That's why the work that SCIAF does is so important, especially our campaign on debt this year.
"Until countries can break free from the shackles of unjust global debt, they won't be able to fully break out of the cycles of poverty they're trapped in.
"I really hope us running the marathon will encourage others to sign our petition and call on politicians to put people ahead of profit."

Finishing the year as best of the rest would be desirable, as would be the extra prize money that would bring in. But there is another factor in play. F1 rules dictate that the amount of wind tunnel testing time available to each team depends on their position in the championship, assessed on a bi-annual basis. So finishing above Mercedes and Red Bull this year would see Ferrari afforded less time in the wind tunnel to develop their car in the first six months of 2026. That would put them at a disadvantage and could limit Hamilton's chances of having a machine that can compete over the full year. But despite that potential outcome, Leclerc is adamant that he wants the team to continue to push for the runners-up spot this year. The Monegasque said: "I am pretty sure it's better to finish second than third. "As you said, there is also the wind tunnel time [but] this is not something we think of too much. When we are on track, we just want to finish as high up as possible and then we will deal with whatever amount of hours in the wind tunnel we have. We want to target the highest possible. "Second place in the constructors' is one of our targets, but the biggest target is to come back to winning races as soon as possible. Wherever we finish, we will work from there and see how many hours we have next year." Duncan: ‘early goal put us on the back foot'
