With his WWE contract reportedly set to expire in just a few days, Karrion Kross has addressed the rampant speculation surrounding his future. In a new interview on the Battleground podcast, Kross gave a cryptic but telling update on his and his wife Scarlett's status with the company.
The discussion comes after a report from Fightful Select stated that Kross's current WWE deal is set to expire in August. The report noted that as of a few weeks ago, the duo had not yet been approached about a new contract.
"I Don't Think I Should Talk About Any of It"
When asked directly about the reports, Kross chose his words carefully. He did not confirm or deny the rumors, instead suggesting that his and Scarlett's future is genuinely uncertain at this moment.
"I don't think I should talk about any of it right now," Kross stated (H/T to WrestlingNews.co). "But I am hoping that when the time is right, everyone will know what's going on, including us."
