According to 247Sports, Beau Jandreau holds offers from Oklahoma, USC, Texas, Tennessee, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Cal, Kansas State, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Notre Dame.
Much like his brother Niko, Beau plays fast, and he plays the linebacker position with physicality. He doesn't just play to the man, he plays through the man, arriving to the ball carrier with force. Beau does a great job reading the play and reacting to with confidence and speed to get to the football. He can line up at both middle and weakside linebacker spots. With his speed and adept understanding of coverage, he could be an option at cheetah as well.
Linebacker is a key spot for the Sooners in the 2026 recruiting cycle with the possibility that Kobie McKinzie, Kip Lewis, Kendal Daniels, and Kendal Dolby all leaving after the 2025 season. Brent Venables, Nate Dreiling, and Wes Goodwin have to stack talent in this class to help reload the position for the Sooners.

It's very evident why he's won as much as he's won as you watch him go through the good and the bad, and how it never affects his mindset," Lester said. Given that the Big Ten possesses some of the most passionate fan bases in the nation, maintaining composure throughout the game is pivotal to the goal of earning a victory, especially on the road. While objectively, Gronowski's "on paper" quarterback skills and achievements are heralded as one of the best in the Kirk Ferentz era, there is still some skepticism amongst fans who have been led astray in years past by players who did not meet their expectations. While it is fair to hold those concerns, the true test for Gronowski will be how he performs against live competition outside the program, which Lester believes will finally kickstart the Hawkeyes' dominance fans have craved for years. Which Oklahoma Sooners player made CBS Sports' preseason All-America team?
The Oklahoma Sooners are entering a pivotal season for the program in 2025. After a 6-7 record in 2024, many are doubting what OU can do this year, after seeing what things looked like in the first season in the SEC. Others believe that the Sooners can bounce back in a big way this season, due to all of the changes that have been made in Norman since last November. On the player acquisition side, one of the biggest additions to the roster came in the form of former Cal running back Jaydn Ott. Oklahoma picked him up in the spring transfer portal window. Aside from the move to go get quarterback John Mateer to run the offense, the signing of Ott is probably the biggest offseason player acquisition OU made for the upcoming season. Ott was the first big name that new general manager Jim Nagy added to the fold, and Sooner Nation hopes the senior will be able to help jumpstart the offense from the backfield this fall. CBS Sports believes he has the capability to do just that. CBS Sports included Jaydn Ott on their preseason All-America team, which they released on Wednesday. Ott was the only Sooner to make the team, serving as the second-team running back behind Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love. Penn State's Nicholas Singleton was CBS Sports' other first-team RB, with Louisville's Issac Brown behind him on the second team. While he was at Cal, Ott broke onto the scene with a big season in 2023, showcasing his speed and dynamic playmaking ability. He was injured for a good part of last season, but the Sooners are hoping his breakaway, game-changing tendencies return to pre-injury levels.
