🤯 Quarter-final shock: Icon League favourites already knocked out
The first quarterfinal of today's final day offered a surprise right from the start: Bürgeramt defeated title defender FC OneFootball and now stands in the semifinals.
Bürgeramt started well into the game and scored as early as the first minute through Dzindic to make it 1-0. After the equalizer in the eighth minute, Bürgeramt stepped up and pulled away with three goals to make it 4-1.
OneFootball, visibly impressed, made many easy ball losses. However, they came back through Spanish futsal legend Miguelín. The 40-year-old took responsibility, and his goal counted double since the Rulebreaker Golden Ball was activated. Fries then scored spectacularly to equalize.
The game was open again, before Aghnima made a consequential mistake. He dribbled as the last man, lost the ball, and Dzemailji scored the goal to retake the lead. In the 22nd minute, the game seemed already decided: Dzemailji scored a double pack to make it 6-4 for Bürgeramt.
30 seconds before the end, Bürgeramt goalkeeper Derwein played a fatal wrong pass, Fries only had to shoot in.
OneFootball actually managed to equalize – but one second too late. The goal no longer counted.
Bürgeramt now stands in the semifinals and has to face the winner of the match between The Pack and Berlin City. The team from Frankfurt convinced and can continue to dream of the title.

Barcelona star spotted back in training ahead of Levante clash
A leading member of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona was on Sunday spotted back in training alongside the rest of Hansi Flick's squad. The player in question? Robert Lewandowski. Frontman Lewandowski was for his part forced to sit out on Saturday night, as Barcelona got the club's La Liga campaign up and running in a meeting with RCD Mallorca. As much came after the Pole picked up a muscular issue during the final week of the Blaugrana's pre-season preparations. The initial expectation was that Lewandowski would likely be ruled out for several weeks, potentially missing Barca's first three fixtures of the season as a result. After word was forthcoming earlier today that the former Bayern Munich man was ahead of schedule in his recovery, though, further positive news has since followed. As showcased below, Lewandowski managed to play his part in some of the group activities at the Ciutat Esportiva on Sunday morning. The hope, in turn, is that the veteran goalscorer will be cleared to play his part against Levante next weekend. Conor Laird – GSF
