By joining up with the PFA pre-season squad, Morrison appears to be targeting a return to English football.
The former Manchester United wonderkid last played on these shores for Derby County during the 2021-22 season.
Morrison has since turned out for DC United in MLS and UAE side Precision.
The midfielder was also in action for Jamaica back in June, bossed by ex-England manager Steve McClaren.
While he has also featured in the Baller League at London's Copper Box Arena.
Earlier this summer, Morrison pleaded with bosses of English sides to ignore his wild reputation and give him a chance.
The former England youth international told The Athletic: "I do believe I can play in the Championship — easy. The frustrating thing is I'm not getting the opportunity.
'My agent has spoken to a lot of sporting directors, chief scouts and heads of recruitment, and we've got really close to an agreement.

'Then they get the manager's opinion and it becomes, 'Ah, but he's done this, he's done that', and they are speaking about things that happened when I was a kid.
'Time has moved on, it's over a decade ago. But it's crazy sometimes how people don't move on.
Kevin Nolan remembers the lost talent of Ravel Morrison
'So many people have formed an opinion about me, but those opinions are based on things that happened 10 to 15 years ago.
'I'm 32 now. I've played football around the world and had a good career. I'm not a kid of 16 or 17 anymore.
'But then again, I have to look at myself because it all stems from my own mistakes. I did some things that were wrong and I can't blame anyone but myself."

Also in the PFA's 42-man training squad this week is Morrison's fellow ex-Man Utd youth product Ryan Tunnicliffe.
The midfielder won the FA Youth Cup in 2011 alongside the likes of Morrison, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Sam Johnstone and Michael Keane.
Following two first team appearances for the Red Devils, Tunnicliffe went on to sign for Fulham, Millwall, Luton and Portsmouth.
He now finds himself a free agent aged 32 following a season Down Under with Adelaide United.
Also on the list is ex-Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman.
The 31-year-old left Stamford Bridge in 2021 without a senior appearance, despite having appeared on the first team bench several times, and most recently played for Shrewsbury.
Ex-Newcastle ace Rolando Aarons is in the squad as well as former Tottenham academy prospect Jaden Brown.

Mikel Arteta makes Viktor Gyokeres admission after noticing reaction to Arsenal team-mates
Viktor Gyokeres was subbed after an hour but Mikel Arteta has no doubts he'll be in a position to hit the ground running this season, starting against Manchester United Mikel Arteta insists Viktor Gyokeres will be "100 per cent" mentally ready to kickstart Arsenal's Premier League campaign with a bang against Manchester United. The Swede huffed and puffed on his first Emirates outing on Wednesday night as the Gunners were beaten 3-2 at home by Villarreal in their penultimate pre-season fixture. Gyokeres was subbed after an hour but Arteta has no doubts he'll be in a position to hit the ground running this season, starting at Old Trafford. Arteta said of his marquee £63.7million summer capture: "I think mentally and understanding what he needs to do, he will be 100 per cent or more because he's so willing. He's so confident as well that he can deliver for us straight away, I have no doubt he'll be in a really good place." Gyokeres has endured a gruelling, whirlwind summer, but Arteta is adamant he noticed immediate chemistry with his new Arsenal team-mates on the pitch. When asked how long it may take to click for the 27-year-old striker, the Spaniard added: "I hope just days, every day in training I think he's getting a really good feeling. "I think he's built connections as well outside of the pitch, which I think is really important with players that are going to help him to be in the position that he needs to get in. "He hasn't trained really with the team for two months, so he's done five or six sessions now before today. I think he will take another step in the right direction on Saturday and he will be in a better condition." Teenage sensation Max Dowman dazzled from the bench but Arteta revealed the 15-year-old starlet is now heading on holiday for a well-earned break. The Arsenal boss was unable to provide any assurances that Dowman will be making his top-flight debut imminently ahead of the new season. He said of the nimble attacker: "Let's see how it goes. Let's go into Saturday, into his break as well. He needs a little break because he hasn't had any holidays really. So, in the next few days, he's going to have a break, which I think he needs. Then the following week, he'll be ready again to go." Arsenal play Athletic Club on Saturday in their final pre-season fixture before they gear up for the trip to Manchester United. Arteta has no doubt his side are the finished article - they now just have to prove it after three second-place finishes. He continued: "We know we need to make the next step and we're going to be better. The same as any other team, when you look at the competition, the pieces on the puzzle that they're adding, some of the ones are big ones as well. So, we're all trying to be at our best and ready to compete to win the Premier League." Kai Havertz (muscle issue), Riccardo Calafiori and Leandro Trossard could return to face Athletic Club this weekend.

Alan Shearer gives brutally honest verdict on Man Utd's Benjamin Sesko transfer
Newcastle have been looking to land Benjamin Sesko from Leipzig but look to have lost out to Manchester United in what is their latest transfer blow this summer Alan Shearer concedes it is "disappointing again from Newcastle" if they do lose out on Benjamin Sesko to Manchester United - given the hugely superior season they had in comparison to their rivals. The Magpies enjoyed a historic year as Eddie Howe led them to their first trophy in more than half a century and also secured a return to the Champions League. Those in Manchester meanwhile endured their worst ever Premier League season, finishing 15th. Newcastle also enjoyed a dominant double over the Red Devils - securing an aggregate win of 6-1 across the two games - yet their most ambitious summer target looks to have expressed a preference to join United. Sesko has continued to blossom at RB Leipzig and is viewed among the best young strikers in Europe. Newcastle acted first in an effort to land the Slovenian, who they see as the ideal replacement for Alexander Isak, but the Manchester outfit have now swooped in and look to have won the race. Shearer is frustrated that another marquee target looks to have passed Newcastle by as they fail to build on one of the club's great seasons. He told Betfair: "It sounds as if Benjamin Sesko had two clubs to choose from in Newcastle and Man United. One that won a trophy last year and is now playing Champions League football this season - and one that didn't win anything, finished 15th and had a dreadful season. "I understand that Man United are a huge football club, not so much a huge football team at this moment in time. I get it. I understand it. It looks as if, by all accounts, he prefers a move to Man United. It's disappointing again from Newcastle, another target it looks like they're going to miss out on and I said it about a week ago, it looks as if it's been a disastrous window for Newcastle." Howe has continued to miss out on key targets which means Newcastle have struggled to strengthen their squad ahead of their second crack at the Champions League. Antony Elanga, signed from Nottingham Forest for £55million, is their only new recruit. They've seen the likes of Joao Pedro, Bryan Mbeumo and James Trafford all head for other clubs despite Newcastle's interest being well documented. The biggest blow could yet come in the form of Isak's exit with the Swede informing the club he wants to leave as Liverpool circle.
