Is ‘Moonshiners' returning for season 15? Everything we know so far

Fans of Moonshiners have been buzzing with excitement, wondering if the beloved Discovery Channel series will return for a fifteenth season. The show, which dives into the gritty world of illegal moonshine production in Appalachia, has hooked viewers since 2011 with its mix of high-stakes drama, colorful characters, and a peek into a secretive subculture. With Season 14 wrapping up on March 11, 2025, speculation about the show's future is at an all-time high. Here's a rundown of everything known about Moonshiners Season 15. The Current Status of Moonshiners Season 15 As of August 2025, Discovery Channel has not officially confirmed Moonshiners Season 15. However, the show's consistent track record and loyal fanbase make a renewal seem likely. For over a decade, Moonshiners has delivered new seasons almost every fall, typically premiering in November. Season 14 kicked off on November 12, 2024, and ran through March 2025, following the series' usual pattern of late fall launches. Based on this history, a potential Season 15 could premiere around November 2025, though no official word has been released yet. The lack of confirmation isn't unusual. Discovery often waits a few months after a season finale to announce renewals, keeping fans on edge. Given the show's strong ratings and cultural impact, there's optimism it'll return. The series has evolved from a niche docuseries into a cultural phenomenon, spawning spin-offs like Master Distiller and Moonshiners: Smoke Ring . This success suggests the network sees value in keeping the moonshine flowing. What to Expect from Season 15 If Moonshiners returns for Season 15, expect more of the thrilling narratives that define the series. The show has always balanced action with education, shedding light on the history and artistry of moonshine while keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. The South Korean Collector Who Fell for Posters From Communist Poland

A visitor from South Korea began strolling into galleries in Poland a few years ago and stunned the owners by buying as many as 200 vintage posters at a time. Few in the Polish art world knew his name then. But the man, Oh Hwangtaek, went on to own one of the most comprehensive collections of 20th-century Polish posters assembled by a private collector. He also stands out among art collectors for his focus on works from a country 5,000 miles away from his own. 'I was surprised,' said Krzysztof Dydo, a gallery owner in Krakow who said he had sold him several posters. Mr. Oh was 'buying posters everywhere he could find,' he said. Today, hundreds of these artworks hang in a museum that Mr. Oh, 77, built near Seoul, called the E-ham Campus. Want all of The Times? Subscribe.

Rock Legend, 73, Sounds Off on the Collapse of Today's Music Industry

Rock Legend, 73, Sounds Off on the Collapse of Today's Music Industry originally appeared on Parade. If you're a fan of rock music, it's safe to say you've heard of Glenn Hughes. The English musician, 73, is a legendary bassist and vocalist well known for his work with Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. Hughes also played with the band Trapeze in the early '70s. In 1992, the "You Kill Me" singer began his solo career and has been creating music ever since. In a recent interview with a Polish YouTube channel called Brudne Brzmienie (The Dirty Sound), Hughes shared his thoughts on the current state of the music industry — and he didn't hold back! 'There is no such thing as the music industry anymore. It's not the same at all. It's just not the same world. From where I came from all those years ago, it's just completely changed. The record labels are a waste of time. The people that work at record labels haven't got a clue what they're doing, as far as musically," Hughes declared. "They might think they are great at business, but I don't think so," he added. "So it's just a different, different, different field to work with. And it's really difficult for new, young artists — really difficult.' Despite the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee's distaste for today's music industry, he's still very much a part of that world ... on his terms. 'Do I feel like I have to play the game again? No. No, and I say that with all gratitude that I'm at a place right now in my life where I don't really have to worry too much about anything because I've done pretty much everything I wanted to do as a child," Hughes explained. "All I wanna still do is make music, play some shows, and have fun. I don't get carried away with anything else other than playing music today, right now in this very moment.' Hughes is set to release his forthcoming album, Chosen, on Friday, September 5.
